There were a few people at the bar and you could easily hear what everyone was saying. I was very aware of the noise level and it didn't feel comfortable speaking at a normal volume. At some point I have to imagine some sort of music gets played. It's just not in the mid afternoon. I will say the service was friendly and fast. The didn't have any beer on draft which was kind of a bummer. I might dip in again at night. But I don't see myself showing up again mid afternoon. It was super awkward and weird.

I had hoped to try the tomato bisque soup as my side, but unfortunately, they only serve chili, not soup, on Mondays. So instead, I ordered the fried potato salad as my side, and it was surprisingly delicious. It comes with small diced potatoes in a warm savory mustard sauce. When I originally asked the bartender what he recommended, he mentioned the Brunswick stack sandwich as well as the smash burgers. While the sandwich was good, I would probably try one of the burgers next time. Nevertheless, I would definitely get the fried potato salad again.
