Great space, open, airy, bright and fresh. Across the st from our hotel within the Jewish community center. Great bagels, latkes, and decent coffee at reasonable prices in a nice space.

I'm really looking forward to going back for another try! You can order at the Counter or you could order from two tablets that are available so it does make it easy to order. The rugelach was delicious--flaky & light, with just the right amount of apricot preserves. The chai latte needs another shot; it wasn't quite hot enough, tasted a bit like flavored milk. expecting the cinnamon, cardamom, & ginger flavors, but they weren't quite there. I did buy Everything Chili Crisp, which is definitely a reason to return. You might wonder how you could mess up chili oil, but it's easy when you use low-quality chilies and oil. This was high-quality, from the chili flakes to the oil, which was smooth didn't leave a film in my mouth, with that delicious flavor. I'll definitely try & have another chai. I'm also thinking about trying the Popeye sandwich bagel, Nana's French toast, or classic smoked salmon. That will be the real test, especially since my grandfather had a smoked fish shop at the wharf, which makes me picky about smoked salmon. My Nana made fresh challah, and her special treat was making French toast with it. It's hard to find good food when it's your own culture being mixed when I go out feeling nostalgic want something that reminds me of different parts of my family standards are high Because I grew up eating the dishes, which makes you have a biased palate, which makes you more picky, not necessarily a good thing haha :) . But you never know if you don't try. I definitely will try again.I enjoyed the atmosphere openness. The setup where you could grab your food and sit down to work on your computer while getting your coffee or chai was great. It's definitely a place to check out and give it a try. I know I'm going back take-two too ;)

Rise and Shine! Ever…read moresince I heard about Rise Bagel, I've been craving a really good bagel. Unfortunately, I don't live in SoCal and don't have one near me, so I've been on a mission to find something that could satisfy the craving. I've had my fair share of lox bagels, but this was definitely the first time I've ever dropped $20 on ONE bagel. Sounds a little obnoxious, I know, but after eating it, I fully believe it was worth it. After many trials, errors, and disappointing lox bagels, I think I finally found the one. The thick, smooth cream cheese paired perfectly with the salty, buttery smoked salmon, all piled onto a perfectly toasted bagel. Then you get that little briny, pickled punch from the capers that cuts through the richness of the cream cheese and balances everything out. And when they call this a bagel sandwich, they mean BUSINESS. The second you see it served open-faced and absolutely loaded with toppings, you know they're not messing around. Personally, I actually prefer my lox bagels open-faced because it makes it easier to eat and lets you enjoy each half without everything sliding out after one bite. Is $20 for a bagel slightly unhinged? Maybe. Would I pay it again? Absolutely. If you're a smoked salmon or lox bagel person like me, this one is definitely worth the splurge.

One thing that I look for when I got to places like this is cleanliness. I can say they passed the test. Things looked clean and orderly. It's a small cafe with one indoor table and few outside ones. As soon I walked in I was greeted by staff member. Since it was my first time I needed sometime to look over menu to decide what to get. I opted for the Mediterranean bagel and added bacon and avocado. I couldn't decide what coffee to get, and asked the cashier his advice. To which he replied the maple and sage coffee was good. I decide to try it out. Mediterranean bagel 5/5 sooo good, they have a variety of bagels to choose from. I was debating between the Calabrian chili bagel which sounded interesting. But decided to get garlic bagel instead. It surely didn't disappoint! It has perfect amount of garlic and was fresh. I believe they make there bagels here in house. I added bacon and avocado to this one, and it took this sandwich up a notch. The bagel was perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and filling. Maple and sage Coffee 2/5 Ok, so I decided to get this one iced (you can get this hot or cold). I was disappointed in this drink because, I couldn't taste the sage at all in this drink. It's such a unique specialty coffee and I would've loved taste a nice balance of the maple and sage. It tasted more like a caramel iced coffee to me. So I went will opt out of this drink next time. Service 5/5 Staff here is friendly the young man that was the cashier; was super helpful and patient in helping me decide on what to order. Now this place is a bit pricy I will say for bagel with added on bacon and avocado it was 20 dollars, and coffee was 7 dollars. Altogether, I spent almost 30 dollars. Overall, I feel this place is a great choice of you're looking for a quick breakfast and coffee. Nice staff, clean, and has indoor and outdoor seating if you prefer to hangout and enjoy the weather on a sunny day in SF.

My wife and I were meeting someone in San Francisco in the afternoon and we wanted to eat lunch beforehand. We were interested in trying Wise Sons Deli since we have heard so many people praising it. Since we were coming into the city via BART, this location was great. The ambiance is pretty basic; ordinary tables and chairs and only some photos on one wall. You order and pay at the counter and then someone will deliver the food to the table. If you want coffee or water it is serve-yourself. However, the food is fantastic! My wife ordered a corned beef Reuben sandwich ($18.50). It was thick and very tasty. I ordered a House Special Pastrami Reuben that had a smaller Reuben sandwich, french fries, a side of cole slaw, and a drink ($19.50). While it had half as much meat as the regular Reuben, it was still a good size. They make their own Pastrami and Corned Beef and it tastes great. My wife normally doesn't like Pastrami but loved the taste of Pastrami made by Wise Sons. The meat is thick, tender, juicy, and DELICIOUS!

I guess I should elaborate a little more for all y'all faithful Yelp readers. I tried a couple of different bagels at Noe Bagel. The sesame and everything bagels are both generously coated, with a beautiful outer crust that has just the right texture. The inside is soft and chewy. It's a classic New York-style bagel that will satisfy even your strongest bagel cravings. The mini bagels maintain that same excellence, just in a smaller form. Because of their size, the crust-to-center ratio gives you more of the micro-blistered snap that I love about bagels. Personally, I'd choose two or three minis over one regular bagel. The cream cheese is also excellent--well-balanced and smooth. My favorite is the blueberry cream cheese. It has just a hint of sweetness that brings out the richness and creaminess of the cheese. And, like many spots in San Francisco, they offer a sourdough bagel. It's quite different from their sourdough bread, but I enjoyed it. If you're visiting, I'd recommend giving it a try. For my everyday go-to, I'd stick with a classic sesame or plain bagel, but Noe Bagel has enough variety to keep things interesting if you want to switch it up regularly. As a bonus, they sell day-old bagels by the bag for $4. You can freeze them, eat them as-is, or repurpose them into bread pudding. You'll end up with an interesting dish thanks to all the different bagel varieties mixed together--but that's part of the fun!
