The staff have always knowledgeable and helpful, sometimes even taking the time to listen to me describe the small projects I've been working on and recommending the right tool or item needed to complete it. Yes, the store's stock isn't as big as those at Home Depot, Lowes or Ace Hardware down the road, but anything from the True Value website can be ordered and picked up at at this location. The prices here are comparable with the other hardware stores as well, especially when you factor in the cost of driving elsewhere. Plus the customer service you get here is priceless.

When they didn't sell the brand of sink I needed, she even called her distributor and got it for me. Pick up was easy too at the counter. Sandy even followed up to make sure everything went ok and went above and beyond to contact my contractor. I was very pleased with the whole process.

The initial interaction we had was fine, just to find out that once our order was placed, everything went downhill quickly! The Hajoca representative originally told us the order would be delivered within 3-4 weeks. Understanding that we had a tight timeline to meet, she never mentioned about certain parts in this particular color being on back-order. Here we are over 3 months later, and we are STILL waiting on certain Kohler parts for the shower! The expectation was never set appropriately. In addition, we moved forward with using different colored parts to "temporarily" have the bathroom up and running. Sadly, when the fixtures were installed, the toilet was delivered with a piece chipped off the back and cracked, now we have to re-order and wait another 3+ weeks for a new toilet. I'm not sure how this happened, but a truly devastating experience.

I understand accidents happen, however what is not excusable is they never told us it happened and when we noticed the pool was not retaining water, they tried to say the heater was leaking water. If you make a mistake own up to it. They told our pool company about their error but never contacted us or offered us any kind of apology. Absolutely terrible customer service. We will not use them again and will never recommend them to anyone.

I am sure that most reviews for this company are all about the quality of service, repair…read moreefficiency, pick up and delivery service etc. However, unless you have a real need that gets filled by one of the staff actually going the "second mile" above and beyond the call of duty you will never know the true value of Hollinger's. After a recent snow storm I was in a real dilemma. I am a senior citizen who is usually a true DIY kind of guy. However due to a current health issue I was unable to clear my driveway. What is more, I was unable to find anyone to do it for me. In desperation I called Hollingers to see if Rick or Leon might know anyone who might be able to help me out. Neither of them knew of anyone who could do it in this situation. However, when Rick realized my situation he volunteered to come to my house after he got off work the next day and clear it for me. That is a true humanitarian with a heart for excellent customer service. I have known for a while they are a 1st quality outfit but this was unbelievable. As it turned out I was able to get the drive cleared by a company without having to rely on Rick. However, I will always be grateful for his most gracious offer. Thanks Guys!!!
