Phenomenal Home Security Choice…read more.. Black Hat Security exceeded our expectations in every way. From the initial consultation through the final installation, Jorge and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on providing the best security solution for our home. The installation was exceptionally clean, with neatly concealed wiring and careful attention to every detail. Truly appreciated the added time to explain how every feature worked until we felt completely comfortable using the system. The camera quality is outstanding, providing crystal-clear images both during the day and at night, and the mobile app is intuitive and reliable. Most importantly, we now have complete peace of mind knowing our home and family are well protected. It's refreshing to work with a company that truly values quality workmanship, honesty, and customer satisfaction. We highly recommend Black Hat Security to anyone looking for a dependable, professional, and first-class home security provider. They have earned our trust and our highest recommendation.

Customer Service is horrible. They also had an internal issue charging my card on file. They then…read moredecided they wanted to collect nearly 2 years worth of missed payments. Before I regretfully paid them they almost tried to extract more money from me to break a 3 year contract. I can not help but feel that this negligence ultimately trickles into their actual services. If I actually had a break in who knows what would have happened.

I spoke with the owner Dave who asked me some clarifying questions about my issues. It was determined that I needed $100 worth of batteries to be changed. I told him that was okay I would just disconnect my system and proceeded to ask if he could help walk me through it. Dave kindly asked me why I would not have a security system (reminding me I had told him I did have a 12 yr old daughter who is at times alone). He immediately jumped in and said actually he would pay for the battery replacement and not charge me. He was so passionate about the peace of mind behind having our system operable! Not only that Dave made sure one of his team members changed all of our batteries on the very same day of my call. Unbelievable customer service! When I told my daughter the story that evening she was so touched that somebody cared so much about HER safety. She called her grandparents and told them the story! I can't say enough about how one act of kindness spread to so many people. I will be telling everybody I know about ICU Security, the company who is truly passionate about making our homes safe for our families. Thank you so much Dave and ICU for your top notch service and care!

The installation was seamless as well. Troy, the technician who installed everything, had to work around many other contractors who were here at the same time, but he was a real professional and got the job done with no issues. I'm really confident we went with the right company!

They were timely in scheduling the appointment, although they were not available for almost a week. Come appointment time, the guys showed up right on time, were very professional and worked diligently throughout the time. Labor was for both for two hours each. Ended up being a little over $500, with 10% discount given as a new customer. So far everything works great and the area is vastly cleaned up of unnecessary parts and wires that had been original to the wiring box. Again, very professional, courteous and diligent. Very happy with the end product. It was a project that I had wanted to have done for years.

Update: Well since I have no internet I do have cell…read moreservice because it is not connected to my Control 4 so I have time to point out to your future customers that absolutely nothing was omitted from my texts. Also you admitted to me this morning that you "lost" your receptionist and that is why you didn't respond to my texts. But go ahead and lie on yelp. That will ALWAYS help you get more business! The bigger WOW here was when I hung up the phone from you blaming me for me being frustrated with you, I then called my husband and he said he had just hung up from Roman (who is not your technician but rather the owner of the company) and he basically told my husband that he doesn't have time and to call anyone else in the valley to do the work. So we did! We look forward to someone coming tomorrow to fix this mess! Maybe the best way to get ahold of you is through a yelp review because you sure responded to that quicker than almost a month! Hahahaha We have had our control 4 system w CinemaScope which used to be Modern Home now for 2.5-3 years. The install went good and we're promised the world when meeting with Roman and he and his guys came to set up our TVs and internet. But fast forward to when you need someone to come out and fix something or you need a service call...then you have to wait 2 weeks or more to get your service completed. OR you message them and they don't even call or text back. With this last set of problems I first text them on May 4th. Then the problems have gotten worse and worse and now the whole system is not working. We try to reset, doesn't work. Then we call cox because they like to blame everything on cox, that doesn't work. Then when we are upset that it took almost a month for them to call back, they say I know you are upset and you're taking it out on me! Uuuuuhhhhhh yeah!!! I'm taking it out on you because you don't answer the phone, you don't answer texts, and then when we do finally track you down it's going to be 2 weeks before we get someone out to look at it! I have 2 businesses that I run from my home and 2 weeks is a long time to be out of business!!! Hire more people so you can live up to what you are selling people!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Attached are the communications the last few times we have needed assistance. Sometimes you are communicated with and sometimes not! Use someone else that has better customer service, that doesn't put the blame on you!

I hired this company to do several electrical repairs around my home. He scheduled me 3 times…read more Twice he cancelled on me an hour before he was to show up. The work he stated he would do and what he actually did was totally different. He was supposed to install a new light fixture in my laundry room by running a new power source back to my junction box and put it in conduit. Instead he spliced into an existing outlet and ran wire up the wall inside the laundry room. Nothing was put in conduit. I asked him to check on a jbox that needed repair in my attic. I checked the repair today and he didn't even put the jbox cover back on all the way. It's missing two screws and one side of the cover is sticking up. It's supposed to be completely enclosed not partially. If you want your time wasted and poor workmanship done on your home then he'd be perfect for you . DO NOT HIRE HIM.

Excellent Customer Service!…read more I recently hired Scott at Diamondback Home Theater to mount three, large screen TVs in my Scottsdale Home. From my first contact with Scott to the completion of the project, I could not have been more pleased. Scott was great at communicating in advance of his service. We discussed the project, my expectations, and specific needs. Importantly, I did not want to see any wires and that some of the mounting locations would be difficult, including one wall that was curved. Scott kept me apprised of his schedule via text and arrived promptly. He brought the perfect mounts for each location and his price for the mounts was very reasonable. Meticulous in his work, Scott put down tarps to protect our floors and carpeting. He measured everything carefully in advance, ran new Romex wire behind the walls and installed new outlets behind the TVs. He connected the RF boxes via HDMI and hid the boxes behind the TVs, as well. The result was a very clean and streamlined look in each room and TVs that function perfectly. The price for the entire project was very reasonable for the amount of work done. Scott was friendly and courteous throughout the project and a pleasure to have in our home. I would definitely contract with Scott/Diamondback Home Theater again and highly recommend him.
