We were looking for a quick fix for my iPhone 6 that stopped charging. We walked in and were greeted by two friendly dogs. The owner quickly came to the front and asked us what we needed help with and instantly knew how to fix it! He cleaned out the charging port and it worked! All within 5 minutes. No charge. My daughter's phone wasn't holding a charge so I called his Oakland office; it wasn't open yet but Gary was able to help me out on Solano because he and his family live in the back of their shop. My iPhone 6 wasn't charging properly, The problem was that I had to wiggle the charging plug in the port until it found a good spot and then had to hold it there to maintain the charging state. I called these folks and got a message to text them. So I texted and got a reply from Gary that said (approximately), "We can change the port out for you for $60, but try cleaning it out with a paper clip." I tried cleaning it out with a paper clip: 30 seconds and perfection! Exactly the right advice, given freely. The opposite of taking advantage of the poor low-tech customer! The outstanding customer service almost made it a pleasure to have broken my phone screen. I had gone in twice to the Apple store for two separate opinions to see if my iphone 6 screen could be fixed. Both Apple employees said there was too much damage and I should toss the phone. When I found Gary, he took a look at my phone and within 20 minutes he had replaced the screen, tested it, and handed it back to me. My iPhone screen shattered a few months back, and I've been putting off getting it fixed as I wasn't really sure where to go and options can be overwhelming.. As I was waiting for a table at Fonda I noticed a new shop next door (it didn't look ready for business as there are power tools and fixing up still going on) but was intrigued as to what it will be once it's complete.. low and behold (just gotta open your eyes), there were signs on the window and one out side for phone repair... I popped my head in and was greeted by two of the friendliest well behaved puppies (they weren't puppies, but to me, they're all puppies)! Talked to Gary and felt right at home.. He assured me that the repair shouldn't take more than 30 minutes and he even offered to bring my phone to me while I dined next door..
