This required very long screws that were not painted and this was handled as well. The second task was to repair/replace and existing fan, again in a peaked ceiling of about 14'. Initial job was to test whether power was reaching the fan. It was not. Net step was checking the switches and it was not. On to checking the switch which turned out to be faulty. Upon replacement, fan actually worked. I was very impressed that one of the owners and a helper showed up on time (acutally a bit early). Job required both a 24 foot ladder and a 16 foot ladder. Price was exceptionally reasonable (less that cost of new 400 fan I was able to return via Amazon. These folks are the true deal with service, great attitude and bi-lingual. Do not hesitate to hire these folks. Angel and his team are exceptional, quality human beings.

Reaching out to this business was straight-forward, I emailed them and a kind woman called me by phone to setup an appointment. With any questions that she didn't know the answer to, she redirected me to email it so an electrician can better answer my question. I had my appointment scheduled and the gentleman, Doc, was assigned to perform the inspection. Doc arrived on-time, was detail oriented in his inspection, and was very patient to explain his findings and recommendations on what were a safety concern first, and what could be addressed later. He explained things over the phone thoroughly and explained his thought process and was open to any questions I had without being annoyed. Within a day, I received his inspection report, a quote for the project/repairs needed, and pictures of the inspection. He was also easy to reach by text. Doc was professional, courteous, and responsive. The cost of the inspection, I think, was a decent value. I highly recommend Veteran Electric to anyone seeking a safety electrical inspection and I hope I'm able to say the same about their quality of work when I hire them for electrical projects. Aaron and Wayne arrived on time and worked hard all day to install two lanterns and six can lights. To install the lanterns, they had to cut through drywall and brick to run electrical cable from the attic. Despite all the work to install the lights (on a hot November afternoon, none the less!), they left without a mess, and even swept and mopped the area they were working. If anyone is looking for an electrician, we highly recommend Carolos Esparza at Esparza Electric…read more Our requirements were somewhat unique - we were adding a transfer switch and batteries to an existing solar array. We knew exactly what we wanted, but finding someone to do the installation was a challenge. We reached out to more than a dozen companies - some who specialize in solar as well as several traditional electricians. Some flat out said they weren't interested, which I respect. Others said they'd send us a quote and we never heard from them again. We eventually found Carlos. We really appreciated his ability, and willingness, to problem solve. We had to move existing wire, add a transfer switch and cutoff, and run a lot of new wire and conduit. Carlos came up with a really clean design. He was great at communicating and always did what he said he'd do. If he said he'd be at our house at 8:00, he was there by 7:45. That has not been our experience with a lot of contractors. Our inspector flagged some stuff that wasn't part of this project and had been approved a couple of years ago under a different permit. Our initial design was approved by one group within CenterPoint and rejected by another. Carlos just rolled with it and made sure it was right in the end. We're really happy with how it turned out. I'm sure Carlos would do a good job with any project. But you should definitely call him if you need someone creative and flexible.
