Five Stars -- Matt is the real deal…read more We hired Matt for a major home remodel that included painting walls and cabinets, replacing flooring throughout half the house, foundation repair, garage epoxy, and replacing doors and windows -- and he knocked every single one of them out of the park. What stood out most wasn't just the quality of the work -- it was how he handled the entire process. Matt communicated consistently from start to finish, checked in regularly with updates, and never left us guessing about where things stood. When we needed to change direction on design decisions mid-project, he was patient and flexible without making us feel like an inconvenience. He also put real thought into the order and flow of the work, knowing that we were living in the house the entire time -- that kind of consideration isn't something you take for granted. When small things came up after the project was finished, Matt didn't hesitate to come back and make it right. No pushback, no excuses -- he simply stood behind his work, and that says everything about his character. We'd hire him again without a second thought, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor who is skilled, communicative, and genuinely easy to work with. Oh -- and our dog, who is not easily won over, grew to look forward to Matt's visits every day. When the project wrapped up, he actually missed him. If that's not the highest endorsement we can give, we don't know what is.

My neighbor had used TJ's services at 4LeafClover a while back to pave their backyard, so I called. He came out next morning and gave me an estimate and a few options for materials he had on hand already and could provide for a discount. He happened to have availability, and he and a helper came out that afternoon and started the demo of the existing concrete slabs and weeding. The next day, they came and continued digging out and started filling and leveling the ground. The paving looks excellent, and TJ made sure the design was functional for irrigation (important especially with all the flooding). For ease of moving stuff to/from truck, they tapped out a few planks of the fence. A few pieces were slightly damaged, and they replaced it before they wrapped up on Day 3 - no questions asked. I love the little pattern he did in alternating the direction of the paving - I never even thought of all these little details. He came back day 3 and finished it off in the morning. I'm in love with my new backyard! TJ also always had the brightest smile. In 95+ weather after 6+ hours of hard labor, that positive attitude really stood out to me. 5 stars all the way!

While the lighting fixtures and overall workmanship was good with this company, their…read moreresponsiveness and ability to professionally schedule the project and needed follow up was well below expectations. They were very responsive on coming out initially to look at what was needed and preparing a quote. But once a deposit payment was made, they failed to arrive when first scheduled, and did not follow up with us to advise of such, just did not show up. Then after several delays and having to regretfully threaten reversing the deposit and cancelling the project, they arrived and did the installation. During the installation, there seemed to be a considerable disconnect on what was needed material wise and what they brought to the site. The onsite technican needed to resolve with their office and returned another day to complete the installation. At the conclusion of that, the final payment was promptly issued to Majestic Lighting for the full balance due. Then we noticed that one of the transformers they used would be operate as intended. A call was put to Majestic Lighting asking for support with this. I was asked to go to the box, open it up, and flip the internal breaker. No problem here and it resolved the issue, but only for that one evening. The breaker would continuously trip meaning either the transformer had an internal defect or something in the installation was causing it to trip. I called Majestic LIghting, they said they would come out to investigate the problem, but they never did. For several weeks now I am calling and texting (their preferred communication style) and no response, no call backs, and no return to resolve the issue. Project is not working and they have been fully paid but they are not properly taking care of the situation. Having to escalate the manner further. I would caution current and new potential customers against making full payments until the system is proven to be fully operational and reliable. For the amount we are asked to pay for their services, the level of detail, professionalism, and responsiveness should be much better than what I have received. Again while happy with the overall installation other than the part that is not currently working, and I am very disappointed in how they run their business and how they treat paying customers. I am giving two stars because of the quality of the lighting fixtures, but I would only give one start if I was only evaluating the overall business and how they treat customers. Use caution.
