We needed weed removal assistance, well...let's be honest, the weeds took over. After submitting a project request, Arturo was the first to reply and the first to come by and provide me an estimate. Was Little Shepards the cheapest estimate I received? No. However, Arturo was quick, honest, and made things painless. He gave us options, and helped us understand the wild world of landscaping because, you don't know what you don't know. Plus, he was able to take care of the problem the following morning. I'd certainly hire him again. read more

They reached out immediately and gave me a quote to remove what I thought to be a dead cypress tree. The crews arrived on schedule and determined the tree is still alove but should be trimmed. They gave me a new price for trimming and performed the work quickly. They hauled off all of the branches and even cleaned up all the cypress needles from the yard. It looks better than when they started. Overall, they were very responsive to my request and all subsequent messages, and did great work at a fair price. read more

Great service and very prompt and friendly. They will be back next year to install our Christmas lights again.

They are fast, helpful and flexible But i hope they can have after installation service.

We moved and from the outstanding job they did at our previous house I called them out to trim our new trees. Well, unfortunately it was not the same job as last time. First it was $100 more than last time but I was fine with that because it included a pine tree. I think he subcontracted out and he personally didn't do our trees. It shows in the final results which was so disappointing as you can see in the new pictures. read more

The provider failed to complete the job. He, Arturo, contracted to mow and edge once a week and pull weeds once a month. He NEVER pulled the weeds or spread the mulch that he agreed to do! He never called or came to do the work, after several visits to mow and edge. I called and texted him numerous times, but he never responded. UNDEPENDABLE!! read more

This company is 5 star!!! Every single thing Arturo did was beyond amazing. He kept his word. He produced exceptional work. He was early. He finished the job in a day. The lights are stapled down and secured. After reaching an agreement regarding the date and price, I was informed that the store had run out of St. Augustine grass. At approximately 1pm, the crew arrived, and I was advised that they would collect the grass sods. Subsequently, without prior consultation or agreement, I was requested to provide an advance payment. I courteously informed them that I would honor my commitment upon the completion of the agreed-upon terms. Regrettably, not only did they decline to accept this, but they also departed without fulfilling their obligations. It is advisable to exercise caution when engaging in such transactions and to ensure that all obligations are documented in writing. I was never rude to the crew as he claims. I never turned him down nor claimed I would not honor my payment obligation. I declined to pay an advance without prior agreement. A professional would show up with top soil and St. Augustine sods to complete the job. read more

Arturo and his team installed my Christmas lights last year and did a fantastic job. Arturo is very detail-oriented and a perfectionist -- just what you want in any service person. They were very patient as my lights are complicated and worked until the job was done, even better than I expected. They came back and remove the lights and stored them. I can't wait to use them next year. read more

Thanks for getting my brush piles cleared on such short notice and with all the rain and mud!

Very unprofessional . Put up my lights and completely disappeared . Called and Texted but no answer . Also they were found on thumbtack but no longer there. My lights are still on the house. I paid exactly what he asked for. Never even negotiated. Did a half a job, then just completely stopped answering or responding. Writing a review is the only way I got a reply. Unprofessional service, terrible communication and horrible customer service . Look at the text. Completely dropped off radar. No communication, nothing. Unreliable, unprofessional and definitely will not recommend. read more

I had Arturo to prune a tree for me. He did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone.

done job triming tree . easy to work with. Price is reasonable, would probably use them again

So disappointed with how I was treated by this company. I wasn't able to be on site and they agreed to take photos, as well as send an invoice, so we could see what had been done. They have refused to send finished photos of all thworl done. I asked for an estimate for grass repair and got nothing. I did pay because I recieved one photo of the partial work and I trusted the work had been done. I was told someone would go take the photo in the next day or 2. It's been a month now. I asked for an invoice to be sent (which I told them was very important) and got a link for an invoice that was empty. I've reached out by text, call, and email and have been PURPOSEFULLY ignored. As a business owner myself, I would never treat a customer this way. I've been very patient. I was hoping this would be my go to company, but I will NEVER utilize their services again! read more

I have two acres of various trees and shrubs. Because of the recent heat and lack of rain, I had several Youpon shrubs, approximately 20' in height, that had died. It was not only unsightly but a fire hazard. I found this company on Thumbtack and called them. In a few days my problem was solved. Arturo responded quickly and gave me a reasonable quote. His workers worked tirelessly in the heat and finished the job in one day. The next time I need yard work I am going to call Little Shepherds. read more

I can't recommend Arturo and his Little Shepherd's Services, highly enough! Arturo quotes reasonable and fair prices, is reliable, trustworthy, and very knowledgeable; he and his crew are so polite, eager to please and always with smiles on their faces. Truly outstanding! The work they did, exceeded my expectations and it was a pleasure to have them all working in my yard. The scope of work they did was extensive...removing dead trees & stumps, transplanting existing trees & hedges, planting new trees, cleaning up planting beds, trimming existing trees and mulching with beautiful red pine bark, in all of the planting areas and around trees. My yard looks amazing, the best it has ever been! I have already scheduled additional work with Arturo and he will be returning soon to clean-up and re-landscape around my Koi pond. There is also a future walkway with solar lighting, and Christmas lights installation. Arturo and his Little Shepherd's Services will be maintaining my beautiful new yard and will definitely be my "go to", for all of my landscaping and yard needs! read more
