If you have any electrical work that needs to be done, I recommend these guys hands down! I found them on Yelp and decided to give them a call. They were able to come out on short notice to provide an estimate, which was great (a couple of the other places I called didn't even call me back or told me there was a long wait time). They are so nice and easy to work with - and they did a great job. I had a multiple jobs that went over 3-4 days, and they always arrived early, worked quickly and efficiently, and never complained when I added more work to their schedule. I had Trent for most of the jobs and he is a really quick worker and knows his stuff--and I felt like I was always getting sound advice from him. I really liked Carlos as well because he was able to get through a really tight space in the crawl space underneath the house to get some necessary wiring work completed (in the summer heat no less!) - and he didn't complain about it! He really impressed me! I had Anthony complete the last day's jobs and he also was quick and did a fantastic job! Overall, I was very happy with all of the electricians that worked on my house, and would recommend any of them for work! One thing that could be improved on is better communication between the office and the electricians that are actually working on the job. For instance, for one of the days, I had added extra jobs to my order, but it wasn't relayed to the technician that was coming out so he didn't bring an extra guy to help. But it ended up not being a big issue because once we called the office, everything got sorted out and we just scheduled another time to complete the other jobs. Given that the office guys and the technicians were all so nice and accommodating to my requests, I don't consider this a deterrent from using them. They are truly great from a customer service standpoint. Tip for first timers: If you are having wiring work done or cables run through the walls, be sure to have a good sheet rock/wall guy that you can call on to fix up afterwards. These sorts of jobs leave holes in walls - it's normal! The technicians did a good job trying to minimize the size/number of holes though! read more

For starters I have used them before, last time they mounted a tv for me and did a good job except costly. The fee was extremely pricey and charged me $150 extra for a 20' HDMI cable that I later found out I only needed a 5'. I called, complained and they told me to trash the cord and gave me a partial refund. Strange that they told me to trash a costly cord. This time I was debating on calling them because of the high fees and not so great ratings online. We requested 3 tv's be hung and a light socket installed. 1 tv was hung but for some odd reason he couldn't install the shelf for at&t box that we provided for under the t,v, . Next he steps one foot in attic and tells me its impossible to hang tv over fire place without destroying the sheetrock which we would have to replace. Another electrician and friend said they should have no problem doing it if he would have actually crawled inside attic to look. He then installed light socket. Being frustrated that he seemed unhappy to be working, didn't crawl in attic I told him thats all I wanted him to do for the day. As he handed over the invoice I test the light socket and only 1 of 2 on it worked so he had to get his tools and work on it again. As I was paying I gave him my Yelp coupon which he was clueless about. He called the office and was rude to the ladies on the phone about the coupon. I called the office shortly after he left to report to the owners the issues I had with this installer. Neither of the two owners were there so i left a message. Needless to say its been a week and still no contact from the owners. Not exactly the customer service you would expect. read more

Bought 36kw generac from Wired in 2013-- also have paid for maintenance plan for 2x year check ups since install. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES! Wired has sent out a tech that did not know how to change the oil, most techs are not qualified, we have had constant governor faults, oil sensor issues, fuel regulator issues, transfer switch problems-- recently during beryl the generator could not transfer on its own-- thank goodness we know how to do it ourselves, otherwise we would STILL be waiting for Wired to come service it. When we called SIX WEEKS AGO to schedule a troubleshooting appt the receptionist said they would send someone out to "replace" the transfer switch--uhh at this point we not know if it was the switch or control panel! And they could NOT give us a "ballpark" date of when they would be out to our area. Seriously, Wired sells generators ALL over the gulf coast and they have no idea when they would be able to get to our area! Wired always was available when it came time to charge me for my annual maintenance plan! I would NOT RECOMMEND Wired to buy/service any generator, they are totally unreliable after the original sale. read more

The people answering their number, directed me to call Wired Electrical Services. So I did, we needed the work done ASAP. Called them and then decided to check out their reviews. I was so concerned, for every good review there were 2 bad reviews. However I am so pleased to say that I have nothing bad to say about this company. I have nothing but GOOD things to say about the service man that did our work. Travis B. was knowledgeable, efficient and got the job done in one trip. Like most people cost is always an important factor when having work done, though not cheap, I am a firm believer that most times you get what you pay for and we got good service, done by a pleasant service man that seemed to enjoy his work, even the time in the attic which was unbelievably hot! I contacted Wired last week for help with replacing or turning a light switch around to face the interior of the pantry. I expected there to be a small mess and breaking Sheetrock for it. Wired was excited to recommend another kind of switch that didn't involve any mess or additional labor. No cutting into Sheetrock and no touch up paint needed anywhere! They recommended a Bluetooth switch be placed inside the pantry without having to remove the old one being blocked by the refrigerator. Sounds like a small thing but it's a big thing when we were using a large cooking spoon to reach the switch! Wires sent "Tanner" out to do the work . As always they called as they left the shop and was here when he said that he would be. Wired has provided several other services for me in recent years from installing our home generator to changing exterior light fixtures for us. The electricians always present themselves well...uniformed, skilled, and competent. Which is comforting for a non-electric guy like myself. Thanks Wired for taking care of us again. read more

I was recommended to call Wired for some electrical wiring in my house and wow did that recommendation pay off. Wired was absolutely fantastic, more specifically their technician, Drew Big, was the best. He came out within the day to provide a quote and even did some of the smaller tasks that same day! They priced competitively but more importantly Drew did phenomenal work. He is a self-described perfectionist, and I witnessed it in first person. He worked with my wife and me to accurately set sconces in a bathroom and sat there patiently as we mulled over positioning and helped give his professional opinion (which was the right one). If you call wired, make sure to ask for Drew! He was extremely good at his craft and as an added plus was a great person who was enjoyable to speak with. So I'll copy and paste my original review here, with the addition of Sarah in it. saac and Skyler did a complete repair of an circuit breaker box that had been all but torn loosed from the pole it was mounted on. Ans was the phone contact who set up the appointment for the work to be done. Fast, professional, friendly service from everyone at this company. Not counting the miles that they traveled to get to this job. It cost more than I hoped it would but also could have cost triple if they hadn't been able to repair the box. I would totally recommend this company! We purchased a chandelier that needed to be hung, it was quite heavy and needed bracing prior to being installed. This company provided us a time that someone would be here to look at it and it was not an 8 hour window of time! The gentleman showed up right on time, presented himself as a professional, gave us a quote and set up a time that the actual workman would be here to take care of the job, the workman showed promptly and did all that we ask. I called Wired to perform some minor inspection repairs and run wiring for a new light fixture on a new home I just purchased. I was scheduled for noon but was pleasantly surprised when they called and asked if the electrician could come at 0930. Nick showed up right on time, was very friendly and got to work. As a bonus, I had one electrical item the buyer of my old home wanted fixed. I asked Nick if he could knock that out for me since the old home was nearby. No problem! So far everything about this company is top notch. Initially saw there sign on the side of the road in Katy. Had an appointment with Larry on Friday morning, pricing was very reasonable. Purchased that afternoon after comparing there quote to others. Monday afternoon they called me to schedule my install the following morning. I chose Wired after purchasing my home a few years back and getting a referral from a friend. They have done a few jobs on my 1950's-era home, including correcting what was most likely a fired hazard when another contractor rigged wires in the garage and storage unit. Wired came back and completely replaced my main fuse box and found that my oven was not receiving the correct amount of power in the fuse box; correcting this most likely saved me trouble down the road.
