Wintry was quick to respond and offered a fair quote for my repair. the main issue i had was the furnace overheating and shutting itself off, a warranty part was replaced and things got better but the system kept pushing cold air after 30 min. after a couple more visits, the focus was constantly on my thermostat settings (i have three zones) and the culprit was that i was over working my heater (heat set to 70). i gave up after wintri stopped responding to my help messages and got a second opinion where the new company tech found that some insulation had come loose in the furnace and blocking the air intake. all i had to do was glue it back up and i've been working since. read more

He was able to diagnose the problem almost immediately just by listening and helping me understand what to listen for as well. He was courteous, respectful, and took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions. His depth of knowledge was impressive and reassuring. As a result, not only did I have a new condenser installed, but I also chose to enroll in WINTRI's annual maintenance program. The pricing was very reasonable, and the plan includes biannual visits to ensure both the air conditioning and heating systems are operating efficiently. Wintri is AMAZING. We got home from a trip on a Saturday afternoon and much to our dismay, it was 95° outside and 83° in the house and our AC was not working! I messaged Wintri at about 4:30 p.m. and they said they could send someone out in about 2 hours! I couldn't believe it! Zach arrived and he was so friendly and helpful. He quickly diagnosed our problem and it was just a small part that didn't cost too much. There is a $79 fee for the trip (which some companies put towards your job, but given that he was coming out after hours on a Saturday within 2 hours, I was more than happy to pay!) Was so appreciative of their service, that we are having them quote us on servicing both our units and replacing all our ducting. Way to go! read more

People from Wintri are very quick in responding to requests and had given me suggestions to check to make sure service is needed. They offered availability to come same day or the day after. Leo came out and diagnosed the issue which was a nonfunctional blower motor. The part was ordered and 4 days later the problem was fixed. Leo was very professional and informative. Called because the indoor heater fan was delayed or not kicking on and blowing air for over a month. The appointment was easy with several dates and times available. On the day of, Jacob our technician texted us his eta which was within the appointment time. Jacob was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. He found the issue and was able to fix it quickly and get the Central heating up and running like new. I know these types of services tend to be expensive based on my past experiences with other companies, but the bill was reasonable compared to others. When my heater stopped blowing heat, I contacted "Wintri" and their service guy first insulted me by saying only people in mobile homes would have a system like I had, then told me I needed a new heater system at a cost of 7K, he then said I could just get a new motherboard, at a cost of $1,600. I was skeptical... I later checked that a motherboard would cost in the $250.00 range. So I called Goldbaums. The repairman came out and in a couple minutes solved the issue by noticing that a rat had chewed up a pressure hose to the motor, he fixed it and now I have heat again. At the cost of the service call plus a tip to the repairman. True pro! Highly recommended. If anyone is ever in need of service, you can trust these guys! read more

Wintri's services were fantastic. Our heater went out a week before Christmas. Wintri was able to send a technician and inspected our HVAC within 24 hours of connecting. We received honest pricing and options (i.e., buying this or that part may lengthen the lifespan of the unit, etc). After agreeing on the job (t-minus 3 days before Christmas), Wintri confirmed a a date for our service appointment. To no ones surprise and with the holiday approaching, service was delayed a day due to their supplier not having the part we needed. Wintri kept in constant communication (via text) to let me know what was happening. Long story short, the tech came out 830am 2 days before Christmas, fixed our unit, walked me threw what he did and gave me an estimate when it should be replaced. My Honeywell home thermometer is working again. Did not need to be replaced. Salvador inspected all the wires fuses and came up with a burnt out compressor. After being underwhelmed by another company with less experienced people, I was looking for senior level experts. To my surprise, Salvador is young, but has been working on systems since a young age and commanded the type of knowledge that was on the level that I was looking for. He diagnosed our issue easily using his over decade long experience. we followed his recommendations and they worked. I was going to give their company a 1 star due to delay on scheduled appointment at first. I was given the option from 10 - 12 and 12 - 2. I chose the 10 - 12 since I had other arrangements in the afternoon as well. I followed up and said that their tech got held up at the other job site. I was already upset that they said that the tech was going to be there at noon now. A tech arrived and was very polite and professional. Leo apologized for the delay and was very courteous to explain everything that he was going to do and the time frame of how long the maintenance service was going to take. I explain our situation with the recent oder that were were smelling after Turing on the AC for a couple of days since months of having it off. He described the smell and told me what it was and what thing could be done to fix that issue. He didn't try to push an extra services like some other companies that I just recently dealt with. Instead he gave me his honest suggestion from his long history in this business, this is mainly forgotten now a days when others are just trying to upset you anything to make some cash. He showed me issue that he noticed on my unit and told me what he was going to do to fix them and other things that he was going to do for free to accommodate for the delay. His service was great and he went above and beyond of any technician that I have ever hired before. He went through things about my unit and what to expect from before and after the service. I was so happy that I got Leo that I asked for him to be my regular maintenance guy for my AC unit and he even set me up with an annual membership service program.
