Expensive smog check bad service. Not honest business There are ton of other locations that can do better service for cheaper and faster. I have the smoke check for my old Camry, it was fail the first time because of the battery new, so i need to drive a little bit more to pass the test. He told me come back and re-test for free of charge. Then i brought my car for the retest and he ask for a fee of 50 and said it was written in the receipt. I checked again it was there. My mistake for not checking the receipt, but the owner was so bad that he trick you with his words. Not an honest person. I don't mind to pay extra fee if he didn't said free of charge before. I wouldn't review if it just bad services. However, not honestly business shouldn't support it. read more

The long time business owner went above and beyond to accommodate and provide excellent service. The shop was easy to find, and he was able to smog my vehicle immediately. He even gave me a discount for being a "first time customer." While waiting for my vehicle to be serviced, he even put the heat on, after asking if I felt cold. Such a nice man, it's evident that he truly cares about his customers. I also found out, that he does more besides just smog, and can also do other vehicle maintenance and service. Had to get a smog check before I paid for my car registration and found Winton Smog Express which is conveniently down the street from my house. Upon arriving at 4:30PM, the owner Kamal greeted me and said typically he doesn't usually take customers after 4:30PM, but will be able to accommodate me. The smog check was very quick and easy and I truly am grateful he was able to take me in, knowing that this is the only time I can come because of commuting all the way from SF. He was very understanding, kind, and professional and I will for sure be coming back for all future appointments and will also be referring him to my friends and family to go to as well! I had to get a smog before AAA could put my car into my name. So I quickly found this spot and called while only being 5 mins away and he was able to take me in as soon as I got there and probably only took only like 30 mins to do the smog on my car which I was soo thankful for!! While being there he was super friendly and made me feel safe while being there (being a girl and going to car shops always scare me since the people usually make me feel uncomfortable). He put his tv on and I was able to sit in the waiting room comfortably. When he came back to tell me my car was good to go, he informed me that my brakes are very worn out, which let me know that I need some new brakes lmao. I stopped by to get my car smog checked today and I had a great experience. Kamal was the only person working but still squeezed me into his schedule. He let me know the cost up front and then started service immediately. The whole process only took about 20 minutes and was super easy. Kamal sent the certificate to the DMV so I don't have to worry about it. He even let me know how to fix some minor issues with my vehicle and that my car actually had a recall on a part that I could try to get replaced with my dealership.
