I needed a smog cert for my dads car while in Hayward and called to see how busy Quick Smog was and he only had a couple of clients so far, so I drove down and only had to wait about 15 minutes. The technician was courteous, and friendly and the payment process was quick and accurate. The price was very reasonable. It's a bit of a crowded location with some tow trucks bringing cars in for other auto shops but I was able to park in front of Quick Smog. read more

I just purchased a Shelby and was having issues with my current smog shop since they didn't know what a stock air intake looks like. Checked online and found just smog. I was greeted by Lim when i arrived, i told him my situation with he last shop so he took a look and immediately found my intake was stock. After just a few minutes, the guy (Veasna) told me to pull up. Got my car smog checked done in 10 minutes. Owner Veasna was super nice. We've been taking our vehicles to this location for over 3 years. We're about 30 mins away and will come to this location to get a smog. My husband has issues with male mechanics taking advantage of women when they bring their cars in to get checked or get worked done. My husband approved this place- even to get a smog. So I read some reviews for two places close to my home. I went to the other place 1st because it was slightly closer to me. The place was three customers waiting before me. The comments for that place said 10-20 minutes per car. That was 30-60 minutes. I did not want to wait so I drive here to Just Smog. Luck for me there was no wait. Drove right in and I was out within a short period of time. The Technician was Mr. Lim. He was very nice. He took care of business and sent me on my way. He said the paperwork was already sent to DMV. That makes it very convenient. I explained to him that it took a lot for me to try a new place because I am loyal to my people I trust. My regular guy is 50 minutes away. It was his luck day because it was raining hard today. Glad I decided to try a local place. He is now my go to company for smog. Can't believe I taken my cars to this guy for over 10 years (see my oldest review). Like always, good service. I told him I needed to go to a brake shop but he took a few seconds to check my brake. He said I didn't need to yet. This isn't a mechanic shop but I took the advice as someone just being honest. Those small things means a lot to customer service. So I had another car that I had to take else where because I needed it done that same day and couldn't make it to this shop. The other shop literally ripped me off. I paid double (not this one) but had no choice since my reg was due. Which means Just Smog is the best place to take your car. Fair pricing and good service. Be back in 2 years! read more
