Great place in Bay Area if your around Hayward-Oakland for lowest price, honesty and best smog. Not here to get your paycheck just wants to help you with your car. Came in for a star smog for a salvage title car and got exactly what I needed in under 30 mins and there was a line when I got there and when I left, and owner even helped me with some questions and gave me some information and who to contact, something other shops or mechanics where trying to charge as a "diagnostic". When I drove up someone came to me quickly. I believe the owner came and spoke with me! I told him my starter is going out. So I will leave the car running. He said it would be about an hour. I came in on a Saturday with no appointment and was in and out in about 15 minutes. The guy who helped me was really kind and professional. I went to another highly rated smog test place in Hayward but the owner didn't show up. So I called KS Smog and they said there are 2 cars ahead. No appointments just drop in. It takes about 10 min per car of waiting when you have cars ahead of you. When it's your turn it's quick. You drive up and they plug in a tester to your car under the steering wheel.
