First time we've made it to opening day (April 1st) and it did not disappoint. They've added a beautiful and innovative pergola style dining area just outside the doorway. The area is heated, has louvered roof slats that can close during inclement weather, and has LED lighting that can be adjusted (color and light level). A wonderful addition and certainly welcome during those sporadic times when showers pass through. Food was fresh and well prepared. Staff was attentive and took great care of everyone. So nice to see so many familiar faces (staff and guests). Looking forward to the 2026 season.

They have made a new outside area that is beautifully done and has made the restaurant even more desirable because you are basically sitting in the marina with the ocean at your side! We had a yummy lunch. Tara took good care of us because she is a seasoned server for sure and always on her game. I actually request her for that reason. Anyway they always aim to please.. doesn't get any better than that! Thank you to the entire staff!

It has a bright welcoming atmosphere in one of the oldest buildings in Marshfield. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and attentive. Now about the food- every single bite on your plate is perfection. The presentation is always great. Like someone really cares!! The sandwiches are so satisfying and perfectly cooked. The breakfast dishes can get you out of any hangover. Or if you need the hair of the dog, enjoy a generous cocktail or ice cold beer. This place has NEVER let me down!,

We browsed at a nearby shop while waiting and got a table after 20 minutes. The Italian Benedict and smoked salmon Benedict were fantastic - the eggs were poached perfectly and we each got a generous amount of salmon prosciutto. I really liked that they use croissants instead of the typical English muffin. I also really enjoyed the home fries (traditional) - they were seasoned well and had very crispy edges. The Santa Cruz scrambler was really good too, with a generous amount of guacamole. The cornbread was surprisingly good, sweet and buttery with a tiny hint of spicy jalapeno. Overall, super delicious!

I enjoyed eating at Liv Creative Cuisine, at a table in their outdoor patio…read more The patio is fenced in so my 1 year old was able to toddle around safely while we waited for food. The menu is a little pricey, but in my opinion worth it. I had the truffle flatbread and enjoyed it. They also have a large drink menu and a small kids menu. Server was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely return and recommend. I'm high risk for COVID so I appreciate having outdoor seating available, while the weather still accommodates it.

While he was careless in how he did it, stuff happens. I get it. The problem was the reaction (or lack of it) by the staff. First, the guy only partially cleaned up the mess on the table and did nothing about the mess all over me; it also became clear he told no one else, including our waitress. After 5 minutes or so, when it became apparent that no one was going to get me anything to clean the mess in my lap, I informed the waitress and asked her to bring me some water and a cloth. I literally got a very small glass of water and two paper napkins, which disintegrated in my lap as I tried to clean myself up. I had to ask - again - for more towels and got 3 more paper napkins. The greasy mess ruined my pants and certainly put a damper on my meal, since my entire lap was soaked for the rest of the time. The waitress barely apologized, and it was clear that she likewise told no one else. I would have at least expected the manager to come over and acknowledge how unfortunate it all was. Not so, no follow up by anyone at all for the rest of the meal. We of course paid for the meal and we left a full tip since people need to work for a living, but the owners at Liv need to do a better job training their staff. I would have expected better.

I had one of my favs.. ahi tuna minus the seaweed and 2 extra crispy wontons. He had his fav steak tips .. medium and he changed the mashed to French fries because they make some of the best fries around! We sat at the bar and Barbara was on and she took good care of us. She is seasoned in the restaurant business and always does a great job! All in all it was wonderful as it always is. I so hope I sway people to go and enjoy this fabulous restaurant.. especially now that the weather is getting better and one can sit on the deck with the big beautiful ocean right in front of you!

I visited the Fairview yesterday with my girlfriend. It was my first time, but she had been there…read moremany times in the eight years she's lived nearby. When we entered, she introduced me to the young woman who greeted us and another woman, a waitress, who was standing beside her. My girlfriend introduced this waitress by telling us "she called me the n-word to my face". I was surprised and did not know how to react. This woman responded with "that was a joke". No apology, but an acknowledgement that she did actually say it. There is no context in which it is ok for her to use that word. There is no situation in which it is ok for her to say that to a woman of color DINING AND SPENDING MONEY IN YOUR RESTAURANT. There are many ways that a person can address the fact that they've said bad things in the past. "That was a joke"is not one of them. It's certainly not how it should be handled at work. There was no dispute that she said it. "You are a n*****." When called out, she said it was a joke. She did not say "I'm so sorry, I still feel awful", or "I'm so sorry I upset you", or even "I would never say that". Instead, she defended herself and her words by claiming it was a joke. It's not a joke and it never was. By saying that, she was letting me know that, while at work, there ARE acceptable uses for the n word. There are not. Do I need to say that I don't want to eat at a place where I might hear racial slurs? The waitress did not deny that she said it and she did not apologize. She defended herself and justified it. Saying it is disgusting and justifying it is disgusting. I have no suggestion for how to resolve this. Your waitress could have simply acknowledged that it is always wrong. Instead she chose to blame my girlfriend for taking it personally and not "getting the joke". Please clarify your position on when it is, and is not, ok for your staff to use racial slurs. If you think "it was a joke" makes it ok to look right at someone say "you're a n*****", you are wrong. It is indefensible. Allowing and defending this behavior is disgusting. Please take some action to show you understand.

I was in the area for yet another specialist appointment and was not feeling in the best spirit…read more Since it was a fasting appointment, I was pretty hungry so the hubby brought me here. I don't know if I was starving, unhappy or what but this place and meal hit the spot and hit it hard. I thought I deserved a drink so I got a Guinness, which was thankfully on tap so yah! I got the bourbon steak tips with steak fries and opted for a garden salad instead of the green beans - yes, yes, and yes! Steak tips were perfectly flavorful and cooked just right for my taste. I really wanted fries and (unlike some of my family/friends) I actually like steak fries and they were cooked up just the way I like'em (crisp outside, not too mushy on the inside). The salad though, yah it was basic and yet not - all kinds of different colored tomatoes which actually had great flavor to them, and it was not just a couple but quite a few and they were "fresh". That is basically what I loved about the salad - not your typical anemic looking/tasting salad but with mixed greens (not just lame looking iceberg) and full of other veggies. The server also could not have been nicer (like I said I went through a lot that day so seeing a friendly face was nice) and always checking on us. I think we made a great choice in stopping here - it was a 4:30 on a Tuesday and it was busy. Good sign!

Bottom line... it doesn't get much better than Dillon's Local…read more My only gripe is that it's a little small, so if your timing isn't right, you might be waiting for a table -- but honestly, that's part of the charm. It has that cozy hometown pub feel: sports on, music playing, and a great local vibe. The staff treats you like you've been coming in for years, making you feel like a regular right away -- and that's definitely a good thing. Homemade comfort food that hits on every level, a delicious menu from top to bottom, and a drink menu that complements it perfectly. And by the way... the Guinness pours well!
