The Corner Cafe was a perfect brunch spot on our way back from Cape Cod towards Boston. The cafe was quite busy on a Sunday morning but they had a very efficient waitlist system via text. We browsed at a nearby shop while waiting and got a table after 20 minutes. The Italian Benedict and smoked salmon Benedict were fantastic - the eggs were poached perfectly and we each got a generous amount of salmon prosciutto. I really liked that they use croissants instead of the typical English muffin. I also really enjoyed the home fries (traditional) - they were seasoned well and had very crispy edges. The Santa Cruz scrambler was really good too, with a generous amount of guacamole. The cornbread was surprisingly good, sweet and buttery with a tiny hint of spicy jalapeno. I stopped by the Corner Café for the first time and had such a great experience. I ordered the veggie and cheese omelette, which was cooked perfectly and packed with fresh veggies, and paired it with a Junior Mint iced coffee. Everything we had was excellent, but what really stood out was the amazing service. Katie, who was working behind the bar, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit even better. Best breakfast and lunch on the South Shore for sure. Recommend the omelets, clam chowder, rustic tomato soup, crab cakes, taco salad etc as I've tried many items and enjoyed them all. Stopped here just to get coffee to go one morning and the staff were so amazingly friendly and the coffee so good that we did the full breakfast this morning. I had a breakfast sandwich and home fries and my husband had the sausage, biscuits and gravy. Everything was full flavor. Nothing bland here! Seven years ago, for my last review, the Corner Cafe was about half the size it is now - after undergoing a renovation and expansion this place seats twice the customers in the dining room and has a beautiful long bar. For starters- they have DEFINITELY upped their cocktail game - especially the array of breakfast cocktails (see photo of new menu!) so we had to try a classic bloody - delicious! We got the jalapeño cornbread to share which honestly was the unexpected star of the show today's. My husband got the Huevos Rancheros, and it comes with spicy home fries which were also amazing if you like spicy and I got the sausage gravy bowl, which was Rick chunky creamy sausage gravy over eggs and home fries with a biscuit on the side. This was VERY heavy but totally worth it - guessing this would be a fantastic hangover choice! All in all we need to do better making this place a tradition every time we are in the area! read more

One of, if not THE best breakfasts I've had in the MA and NH areas! Today was my first time there (on way to Cape) and even though it's an hour from home, it's worth driving to again just for the food. We ordered the California and Hash Bennies with a single blueberry pancake to share. My husband is a hash snob and I always thought I didn't like it, but this hash was unbelievable, made in house and so tender and flavorful. The Cali Ben was served on a toasted croissant with bacon, fresh spinach tomato and avocado. It was perfection. I ordered my home fries buffalo style just to be adventurous and they added a nice kick to the dish. I give it an A+++ on food, service, and ambience. The choice of food is plentiful and always delicious, my husband gets the Portuguese scramble and I get the corner bowl, but with spicy potatoes! The staff is friendly and aim to please their customers. We drive a little more than an hour to enjoy it! read more

I like to come here for breakfast on occasion. The downside really is Bill has an archaic POS ordering system . The bricks the waiters and waitresses use customers since the stress of the newer waitress or seasoned waitress trying to place order for customer. I am sure there is a better way to process order .I have faster more accurate luck at McDonald's Kiosk and I use it myself. 10 years ago we used those bricks in business not now . I left after waiting for waitress she took drink order and ran away without my breakfast order this past Fri Aug 28 . She brought me wrong drink order . I read the stress on her face on using the outdated technology. I'm sure today it's available I use it . Bill could have an Apple Phone and app much more accurate and more efficient. The Corner Cafe is our "go to" place for breakfast. We've enjoyed many meals at this wonderful spot. The corned beef hash is the best around. Corned beef hash here is clearly homemade. The menu offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options. The restaurant was expanded a few years ago and is well staffed. The place is clean and bright. Do yourself a favor and swing in to enjoy a great meal. I believe they're closed on Tuesdays so plan accordingly. Enjoy! read more

Food was excellent but prices are a bit confusing and misleading to be honest. I love the expansion of the restaurant but was advised by the server that there wouldn't be a substitution price to remove meat from entree and sub cornbeef hash. If my boyfriend knew there would be an up charged on top of an already pricey breakfast, we wouldn't have substituted. But we were advised one thing snd the bill said something else. All the food was phenomenal, i had the breakfast street tacos, and they were absolutely perfect. My dad had the Greek omelet, and i had a bite of heaven. My sibling got a banana chocolate pancake and added walnuts and it was the best pancake I've ever had. Even the fruit was perfectly ripe. And don't even get me started on the service, our server was a nice young man who was incredibly attentive, even mid way through our time there he cleaned the stains off the table for us. He was kind and quick with his service. And then the drinks oh my goodness, the smoothies we had were amazing and their specialty coffees with everything i could have ever wanted. Not too sweet, perfectly strong. Just perfect, and their ambiance was so awesome too, it's very cape cod vibes, the all white paint job made the room feel bright and happy. 100/10 experience. Disappointed in the bill. Ordered New England breakfast server asked what kind of toast. She gave all the choices including a biscuit. Husband ordered the biscuit the Bill upcharged $1.50 for the biscuit on top of the $19.50 price. She asked if he wanted more coffee and charged him $4.25 for first cup and $4.25 for the refill. Solid choice for breakfast. They have so much to choose from, but I stuck with my usual Eggs Benedict w/home fries and hubby got an egg sandwich.
