Instead, the cupcakes simply said "Congratulations Graduate." Ellie initially handled my call and offered to make things right; however, it took multiple phone calls to resolve the issue. What was most disappointing was being told that the order had been packed with the "2026" decorations, which essentially questioned my honesty as the customer. I even had to provide photos as proof. Ellie contacted the owners, whose only proposed solution was refunding half my money. That was unacceptable. I have a college graduate to celebrate tomorrow, and instead of receiving empathy and accountability, I felt dismissed. It also felt as though the delivery to Fairfax was being framed as a favor, despite the fact that I paid the long-distance delivery fee. It ultimately took Stephanie clarifying and confirming my original order before the issue was finally corrected. While Ellie eventually rectified the situation, I'm appalled by how this was handled overall. The lack of empathy and professionalism from ownership was incredibly disappointing.
