We were in town for some other things and decided to come here to watch and bet on the The Preakness race. This is an off track betting facility that offers sports betting on horse racing and other sporting events. They have many machines to place bets yourself, and you can also place a bet with a teller. They also have a bar and restaurant to order food. We had chicken wings and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. They both tasted good. One suggestion would be to give small plates to those ordering appetizers.

This place is a different type of place. It is part restaurant, part bar, part gambling joint. With it being a gambling joint it is 21 and up. We just went there for the restaurant part because most of the other places were packed because of the teachers protest that day. It was not very busy in there. At least for food. They have typical pub food, burgers, fries, tacos.... The food was "OK", my food was cool by the time it got to me, but it did take a while for us to get our food. This was my first time here, after passing it many times. I was so unimpressed. The bar or gambling part may be better, but I was not able to experience those, so my review is only for the food. They have a secret squirrel VIP room to the left behind some glass doors when you enter. Not sure of the requirements to get in, just know that I did not meet them, whatever they were. If you don't mind eating your food while having a parade of characters passing you to get in line and place their bet then this place is for you.

From Pittsburgh, PA, where the kind of betting that happens here isn't legal. I walked in not knowing what to expect, and was met with enthusiasm and kindness by the staff. Wasn't busy, and the kitchen had just closed, but I was only here while I waited 45 minutes for a deep dish pizza. Bar is nice, casino-y (yes, I just made that up.) and spacious.

Winners Circle isnt exactly somewhere you'd go for date night. As the other reviews say, their beer is one of the cheapest downtown, but NOT anymore!!They raised the prices! Tall domestics used to be $3 and now they're $5. Totally understand raising them with COVID and losing business, but personally I only went here for the cheap beer, like a lot of other people. I don't think this place is very clean (smells like smoke too), and usually I get harassed by other older men in here (most of their clientele). Absolutely love the bartenders and servers here, theyre always great. The food is good if you want something greasy. Unfortunately probably won't be visiting much anymore. Maybe check it out once and see for yourself?

I love this place. Not to many times can you find an OTB that is clean and serves really good food. It was packed and the manager for sure had this place under staffed. Not sure what that older gentleman was doing behind the bar other than nothing. But the girls worked hard and fought through it. Good spot. I had the wings which are solid looking forward to more food the next time I come back.

Do they sell Kentucky derby program the day before?

Not exactly--They will have the form that evening but not the official Derby program. I find the official program at downtown hotels the night before. Some liquor stores carry them such as Evergreen Liquors in Middletown.

We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. Sharing appetizers on a sunny patio, meeting fellow basketball fans from halfway around the world, and watching Indianapolis come alive before tipoff. It reminded me that sports have a funny way of turning complete strangers into friends. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're headed to Gainbridge.

I understand that restaurants change menus. Items come and go, new things get added, and sometimes decisions have to be made behind the scenes. But the cheese breadsticks are not just another random menu item. They are a Kilroy's staple. They are one of those foods that I immediately associate with Kilroy's, and removing them feels like getting rid of part of what makes Kilroy's, Kilroy's. And yes, I know you still have the stuffed breadsticks. I know people love the pepperoni breadsticks. But not everyone wants or can eat meat. The cheese breadsticks were the perfect option because they gave you everything that makes the breadsticks so ridiculously good without requiring a meat filling. They were simple, cheesy, warm, comforting, and genuinely one of the best things on the menu. Also, the CHEESE. I don't know what exactly you were doing differently with those breadsticks, but the cheese inside of them was so good. There was something about the combination of the dough, the cheese, and dipping them in sauce that made them perfect. Replacing that with only meat-filled options is just not the same thing. I have a hard time believing I am the only person disappointed by this. The cheese breadsticks appealed to vegetarians, people who don't eat pork or pepperoni, people who simply weren't in the mood for meat, and people like me who just genuinely thought the cheese version was superior. It also seems like such a strange item to remove because breadsticks are part of Kilroy's identity. There are certain foods you expect when you go to certain places, and Kilroy's breadsticks are absolutely one of those things. When something becomes that closely associated with a restaurant, taking away one of the classic versions feels like a much bigger menu change than simply discontinuing an appetizer. I am genuinely so disappointed. There are plenty of menu items I could see disappearing and think, "Well, that's unfortunate," and move on with my life. This is not one of them. I am apparently passionate enough about these cheese breadsticks that I am sitting here writing an entire email about them, which should tell you how serious the situation has become. So I am respectfully begging whoever has the power to make this decision: PLEASE bring back the cheese breadsticks. Put them back on the permanent menu. Make them a limited-time item. Charge me an extra dollar. Make me sign a petition. I am willing to negotiate. I just cannot accept that we are living in a world where I can walk into Kilroy's and not order cheese breadsticks. Some things should not be messed with, and the Kilroy's cheese breadsticks are one of them. Please reconsider this decision. Your cheese-breadstick-loving customers are counting on you. Sincerely, A very disappointed and very hungry Kilroy's customer

Turns out the entire heated patio is first come, first served, and we were seated almost immediately. It was one of those windy Indiana afternoons where the cold finds every gap in your jacket. I fully expected to spend lunch shivering. Somehow, the heated patio felt warmer than the restaurant itself. Between the TVs, football on every screen, and the patio heaters, we had zero complaints. Now let's talk about the famous pepperoni-stuffed breadsticks. They're a must. And order your own nacho cheese. Seriously. Don't expect anyone to share. I could eat a shoe dipped in their cheese and probably enjoy every bite. The breadsticks always arrive piping hot, stuffed with gooey mozzarella, and if we're judging on a cheese-pull scale...I'm giving them a solid 7/10 on the stretch meter. As for our server, Zach...what a true gem. He's one of those people I'd honestly be surprised to hear anyone say they didn't like. Funny, quick with the jokes, and somehow kept up with the chaos without missing a beat. He also made sure my lemon drop martinis never had a chance to get lonely. Google simply "fowling" and you learn about this odd sport where you combine football and bowling. Just now. Right NOW as I'm writing this, the word fowling finally made (sort of) sense. Football + bowling = fowling. Now I'm even pronouncing the word different with a long "o" sound versus the "ou" diphthong. I had to Google that, too, but once I saw diphthong, I knew it was going in my review. You're welcome for the 5th grade grammar lesson. Please redeem your Pizza Hut personal pan pizza for your hard work. Ok, fowling. It has nothing to do with trapping birds or teaching birds of prey to land on your arm (that's falconry). Nope, it's a game you play with friends and beer. The setup is more like cornhole, but you use bowling pins and throw, that's right, a football. Someone was clearly drunk when this game was invented. But what a great way to bring a group of people together! The Fowling Warehouse specializes in the game of fowling, but has several other activities to enjoy as a group: pool, darts, a few arcade games and a golf simulator. I may go back just for the golf simulator. This is the real deal, a full Trackman set up. It was pretty sweet. Those simulators can be a little intimidating at the PGA Superstore, but it's tucked away in the corner at the Fowling Warehouse where you can shank balls and not feel like a fool. Mostly. There are also two bars and you can order pizza and boneless wings. The bar has a nice selection of beers on tap. They use the magnet cup system where the cup fills from the bottom. My favorite thing was seeing multiple signs on the bar that warn you that if you push the bottom of the cup, you will get wet! And I smiled devilishly thinking about curious people testing their luck with the cups and losing every time. For me, I enjoyed a couple glasses of this blood orange IPA. Delicious and refreshing. The Fowling Warehouse isn't exactly my jam, but I think it's the kind of place that is perfect for a certain crowd who enjoys games and likes a new challenge. And they can handle a large party! If you are looking to try a new sport that feels like it was invented by someone who lost a bet, this place is for you! I kid, but the Warehouse is nice and clean and large! The service was good and everyone seemed to have a great time. Seems like a pretty good spot for your next party if games are your thing! There was a sign in front of the business pointing you to turn down a steer for parking; next block there is a huge parking lot but no signs saying you can park there for fowling, BUT, it was abundantly marked that cars will be towed. Since there was nothing else around, I assumed it was the right place and parked. Of course I briskly walked to fowling to inquire if I was in the correct space. I was, whew. Those towers can really work fast. Fowling is in a warehouse with other businesses, hence the name. It is huge. We were on lane 32, I believe so there's at least 32 lanes. There is also a corn hole area. There is a bar where they have a decent variety of adult beverages. I went with 3 Floyd's warpig, a hazy ipa. It was really good. The important aspect of fowling is not eating or drinking there, but to interact with the people your with. Sure you can win a game, but the fun is the game itself and the camaraderie with a drink. Our leader looked up the rules prior and explained them. You take turns throwing a football at bowling pins, one set of pins on each end of the lane. There are two lines to throw from, our group guys threw from back and women from front. I watched a group next to us, both men and women threw from front line, it didn't appear to give anyone an advantage. I don't know if the pizza place is part of fowling or a separate business, but we got pizza from Bonk Pizza. It was ok, it was enough to say we were fed. I'm glad I did this and would go again.
