That's when I saw Anna on an Instagram story promoting her business and I knew I had to go check her out myself. Not only is her suite closer to where I live, the experience I had here was phenomenal. Right off the bat I was greeted happily by Anna and she got right to work. Anna is a pro at her craft, she is extremely fast but efficient. I don't think my eyebrows have ever been this clear and defined before. I also had her do my upper lip (Italian problems) and I swear she found hair that I didn't even know existed there. The one thing I noticed about Anna is that she has so many loyal and loving clients and she shows that love right back. Her suite is the definition of girlhood, you make friends and laugh with everyone in there, it was truly a beautiful experience. I also got a lash lift and tint that she knocked out of the park! I personally requested for the tint to be brown because I wear brown mascara, and she happily followed my request. I am so impressed with the results. There was no communication until I received the automated text reminder at 5 pm the night before my appointment. I was able to secure the babysitter for the next day only to be cancelled on before my appointment. I reached out only to receive back "last minute cancellation, no refund". I asked if I could reschedule, but she stopped communicating with me. Then I received a phone call from her. I asked if there was any way we could work through using my deposit because she does beautiful work and I was called rude and yelled at for the 8 min conversation. I booked my $100 deposit with her 13 months + ago. I suppose I expected some sort of communication on how I should prep myself for the appointment, but there was no communication, she says she has 100s of clients and she can't keep track of everyone and that's why she doesn't book a year out. Next time, tell me that when rebooking a me a year out! I should have never been rebooked for a year out, nice of her to try and reschedule me however you can't pick and choose when you're going to be accommodating. A year ago was the best time to manage the situation. I should have been canceled and ,when ready, set up with a new consultation with deposit. Can't two people agree that miscommunications happen and how can we have happy business owners and happy clients? I made sure to wait 24 hours then speak, I'm left with ill feelings after her phone call to me. Her pushy tone and belittling words unsettled me. It was poor "people practice". The last minute cancellation was my fault but perhaps a lesson can be learned for both her and I.
