I arrived on time, only to have a completely different technician sit down to do my nails. When I mentioned I had booked with someone else, I was shown the technician I requested, who was doing another customer's pedicure. I understand things happen, but what's the point of allowing customers to book a specific technician if the appointment isn't honored or communicated beforehand? The technician who did my nails was okay, but the experience was disappointing. I won't be back.

At my bridal trial, she spent 2 hours perfecting my look and seeking approval each step of the way. Even after we completed my makeup, she sat me back in the chair to find a better lip color. As a minimal daily makeup connoisseur, I found this attention to detail amazing. Her team was funny and social the entire trial, as well. The day of my wedding started off with a text from Patty the night before! So sweet to know your makeup team is thinking about you. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup, especially the airbrush foundation. Patty and her team held to the outlined schedule. We added on a touch up service, which was so helpful after being rained on in the afternoon. Patty herself stayed for the services and helped me fix my veil and hair for the evening, too. I cannot recommend Patty and her team enough!

I waited, and when I finally got done, the same woman who did my toes was supposed to do my nails. Then another woman came in for a pedicure, and it was the same lady doing my nails who said she couldn't finish because her husband had arrived to pick her up. I asked who would finish my nails and if they could complete the design I wanted. The guy looked at me and said no. I thought, "Okay, as long as it looks nice, I don't mind." But he just wouldn't budge and said, "I won't do it since you're gonna be like that." He was rude and dismissive, making a joke out of it, which made the other lady leave. Before she left, she even hugged me because she saw how badly I was treated. The workers apologized to me, but the whole situation was disgusting. I'm an Army veteran with panic disorder and anxiety, and just going out in public is tough for me. The fact that I tried to treat myself and was treated so poorly was upsetting. I'm a Black woman, and I can't help but think that might have played a part in how I was treated, though the staff were rude to a Caucasian woman too, which is why she left. In the end, I do not recommend coming here. I paid over $90 for my pedicure and still tipped $13 because I wanted to. But I left that salon shaking, hyperventilating, and crying. I was angry, not just sad, because of how that guy treated me. I will never come here again. I could see how bad he wanted to hit me, which tells me he treat those women in there like hell. It's insane that you work to earn money. You finally decide a place to spend that money, and then you're treated like trash. In my 39 years I've never been treated this way by anyone let alone a nail shop. I will say the women in the shop tried to calm me down as my nervous system was completely out of wack. It just sucks that he has the ability to treat women this way. Didn't get his name but he's so rude, you'll know it's him.
