In full disclosure, I'm new to proper skin care. For years I neglected my skin, sun worshiped, etc. Time caught up with me, and I realized it was time to start thinking about proper care. Sandra is a perfect fit for getting someone like me on track. I came in to the consultation with sun spots and my usually oily skin was drying out from pregnancy. Sandra did a deep clean, then sat down with me to talk about care, goals, and recommendations. I appreciated the time she spent with me, and within a few days, the trial of moisturizer she sent me home with started to work it's wonders. I came back to see her a week later for a European facial. Again, results were fabulous. I finally had that "pregnancy glow" everyone talks about. My skin felt (and still feels) wonderful. Her product recommendation of tinted moisturizer has completely resolved my dry skin issue, and the light tint has eliminated any need for foundation or powder. I have had expensive facials at prestigious, overpriced resorts, tried the chain spa experience and other "economy" priced places... and I have to say that Harmony Aesthetics is The Best facial I have ever experienced. Sandra REALLY knows what she is doing and I will NEVER go to another place again. Her great care and attention to my personal skincare needs really stands out. I feel refreshed, vibrant and just plain beautiful when I leave her studio. I will admit that at other places, I have felt uncomfortable, raw and needed some HEALING time after what was supposed to be a relaxing spa experience. That has never been the case with Harmony. I felt very taken advantage of here. I had been going here for a bit for waxing and then had two botched jobs in a row for waxing by the owner. Her The second time I had to go in somewhere else the next day to take care of what she didn't wax, and they thought that I had just tried to do it myself because there was so much hair leftover! I have had my eyebrows waxed a couple times by Emma. She has done such a great job. She has great customer service, it's actually very relaxing for an eyebrow wax. She most importantly makes my brows look so good. As much as I hate that my brows grow back. I can't wait to get back in there to have her reshape them and make them look good again! At times I let my brows go a little to long (if I can't get in) and I'm like, can these bad boys even be saved and look good again? And bam! She makes them look great! read more

When I recently had to cancel an appointment at the last minute, Sandra went ahead and charged me half the cost of my session, without even checking with me first to see what kind of family emergency would cause me to cancel at the last minute. I realize this is the policy stated at her website, and it is absolutely her right to make that charge. I also know she could waive that charge if she wanted to. So, based on this experience, I think I'll take my future business elsewhere to a more client-friendly business. read more
