Big Menu, Bold Flavors…read more Parkside is yet another excellent wendell Falls Parkway dining option. While the decor is rather austere, the service and food are first-rate. There is ample outdoor dining and a full-service bar with a good selection of draft beers. I particularly like the diverse menu and surprising variations on many tried and true classics. The Deviled Eggs starter is kicked up a notch with the addition of Jalapeño and Bacon. I really like the Chicken & Waffle Sandwich. The slightly crunchy Belgian Waffle is wrapped around a crispy fried Chicken Breast and topped with Hot Chipotle Honey - yum! If you are looking for a plate full of pure comfort food, try Mom's Meatloaf. The substantial portion of this old-fashioned favorite brought back fond memories of mom's kitchen. For something a little out of the ordinary, try that Canadian favorite (with a twist) Short Rib Poutine. The French Fries are smothered in a Hot Jalapeño Gravy, Garlicky Cheese Curds, Green Onions and chunks of Fork-Tender Boneless Short Ribs - so delicious. For something more basic, there's a very good Grilled Chicken Sandwich on a Brioche Bun. The fresh House Salad with Lettuce, shredded Cabbage and Carrots, Cucumber and Cherry Tomatoes is a perfect accompaniment for this hearty winner. There were a couple of items that missed the mark - at least with us. The Veggie Wrap with Coleslaw was bland and uninteresting and the slaw was not to our liking. We also did not care for the Tomato Bisque.

Pepperoni pizza with extra cheese was delicious best in the area in my opinion, the crust was perfect and not soggy. I will be ordering again. I liked him it was clean and everything in order as always. Easy in easy out and prices not bad either.

Priced very well considering the amount of toppings on both the White and Supreme. Also the crust is basted in oil or butter and interestingly crispy but not over cooked. The sauce was nice or overly sweet or heavily placed to then soggy up the crust and create a mess like other local places. You can fold this southern NYC style pizza up and keep it moving without having to change your shirt afterwards. Overall really good, probably top 3 in E. Wake county and certainly best in Wendell. If you give them a try remember it's to go so don't get stuck on its location and building being an old C-store.

The entire restaurant smelled like a public restroom that was mopped with toilet water. It was disgusting. Because I was riding with someone else & she wasn't turned off by the smell, I had to stay. Ughh!! We ordered the bone-in lunch special with Asian Zing sauce (my fave!), fries, & a drink. The food came out with piping hot fries & cold chicken. They even gave me a wing tip to count as 1 of my wings, so I sent that back. They brought me a real wingette. The food was ok. I ended up warming the chicken up after work and adding more sauce. It wasn't the same but it was better than what I originally received. The server was ok. She was away talking to her friend more than she was checking on her tables but anyway. I may give them another chance & stop by in the evening. I want to see if the quality of food will be any better.

I say favorite because we always recommend it to friends and family. We arrived to the restaurant and the waiter took the order for the drinks. He brought us the drinks, and I thought he will bring the bread, chips, etc, which are served in " all" restaurants we have eaten at. This time, the server did not bring anything. I thought, maybe they ran out of the bread and are not serving it. To my surprise, next to our table arrived a Caucasian couple, and the waiter immediately brought them the bread and sauces and was very polite. Well, I understood, they were Discriminating us, we are Hispanic; well, actually we are multicultural, because my husband is european. So this type of clients don't deserve the same treatment and service as everyone else? Or, perhaps they were upset because we did not order three course meals???? Is there a minimum amount that clients need to consume at Everest Kitchen restaurant in order to receive good customer service. One thing is for sure. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT DESCRIMINATORY AND RACIST RESTAURANT!!!!
