This place is SOOOO busy, I tried to call my order in ahead of time and kept getting hung up on. (This was on the drive over there) so finally I waited in line then another 20 minutes for my food. Customer service was not good. I wanted to order an extra sauce and so I went to the counter and the worker saw me and ignored me. I stood there for five minutes before she asked what I needed. After I asked for an extra ranch she told me to wait while she messed with something. I was annoyed BC it took maybe 10 minutes for this person to give me some ranch when it should have taken less than a minute. What made it worse was that she was extremely rude the entire time. The wings weren't good either. Mine were disgustingly greasy. I bit into a wing and it squirted out oil and all of my wings were soggy. I had to to-go my wings and brought them home so I could bake them and make them crispy. I would give this place a 1 star rating if this was my only time eating here. Previously my wings were never as gross and the service was never bad but because of this visit I have to give 2 stars. During football season, hot wings, beer and a Sunday afternoon or Monday night football game are just great together. There are several Wingstops in the Waco area but this is the location I use. I have consistently received good service here and enjoy their wings. The method here is fried then tossed with a sauce of your choice. My personal favorite is the "original hot" while those in the household that can't stand the heat prefer the "hickory barbeque" They seasoning used on the french fries is pretty good as well. If you wnt take out call ahead and save some time. read more

My service here has been hit and miss, a lot of it had to do with the iPhone app not communicating with the store but they have also gotten my orders wrong a few times, as far as call ahead, the estimated ready times are never write, add 10-15 mins to your online or phone orders read more

Made a phone order and was placed on hold twice before speaking to an employee. As I was ordering, another employee interrupted the conversation and ended the call. I'll give them credit, the order was pretty fast. I ordered takeout and got my wings faster than 30 minutes. I ordered the Cajun and the habanero mango. The first smell that hit me was the vinegar and chili pepper. I didn't mind so much, I enjoy vinegar flavored things. I popped open the box and the Cajun wings looked like they were drowned in Lucas. You know, the Mexican chili powder candy. They were hot. Very hot. I like spicy foods, but when you combine it with the overwhelming taste of salt, it's too much. These tastes like they had about 2 cups of salt on them. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too salty! I had to dip them in ranch and BBQ sauce just to dial the saltiness back. I haven't even tried the mango wings yet. I'm going to take a wild guess and say they taste better. I'd suggest going to the other wing stop downtown over this one. read more

I love wing stop but the people that work at this location are either stoned or completely unintelligent. We ordered food to go over the phone. When we showed up to pick up our food they said it wasn't ready. We sat down on the bench and watched as the food was being cooked. About 3 minutes after we sat down we saw our food bagged up and put on the counter. They didn't give it to us so we assumed it was someone else's order. 15 minutes later we finally asked where our food was and the girl grabbed the bag that had been sitting out almost 20 minutes and said it was ours. Our food was cold, our bread was hard, we were late getting to our next errand and no one said they were sorry for the mistake. They just looked at each other blankly. The last time I was this disappointed my dad went to Walmart and never came back. We waited over an hour for some wings and the workers are so lost and so unhelpful. This Waco location reminds me of the time when I ran a mile and a half and drank a gallon of milk. I have met college dropouts with more of their life together than this restaurant. I have NEVER been treated worse than at this Wingstop. First off they got my whole order wrong. And when I told them that I didn't ask for either flavor they gave me they proceeded to argue with me that that is what I told them. I asked them to make what I ordered, I even showed them the receipt and this one rather large black lady said I would have to wait another 25 minutes because other orders were before me. like are you serious? Never go there they talked about me behind the counter. I even submitted a complaint with the owner and they did not care at all. This place needs all new management and ownership! I've been to this location a number of times and it seems to be Hit and miss ....Last night I ordered the 24 piece combo. I called my order in before going to the location to pick up my food. They told me 20 mins...well knowing the history of this location I added about 10 more mins to that to be sure. When i go there my Order was ready and staff was pretty friendly, My food was good and Fresh !! The only downside the Cashier did not give me a Cup for my Drink I had to ask. The Wing Stop on New Road across from Wal-Mart does not appear to be needing any business. Since it takes 20 min to prepare the wings I called in my order as I only get 30 min for lunch. I called in around 11:00 am to place my order for lunch and was placed on hold for over 8 min, I called back thinking that I had been disconnected or forgotten about, a gentleman answered. Without saying hold or anything he started yelling at someone to get the phone and take the call in order. I could hear someone in the back ground yelling put them on hold when I explained that I had been on hold for over 8 mins the person yelling said they did not care and to put me on hold. There was no explanation that they were having system issues or anything just a very rude person yelling put them on hold I don't care. When I explained to the gentleman that I felt that they did not want my business he stated yea ok and hung up. This one of the worst experiences I have ever had.
