One thing that stood out right away is the variety of chicken flavors--they offer so many choices, which is a big plus! When it comes to the chicken tenders, I've noticed some fast food chains keep the price the same but make the tenders smaller over time. Since this was my first visit, I can't compare Wingstop's size to what they might have been before, but compared to other fast food places, the tenders here are a good size. They're pretty big, with just the right amount of breading--definitely satisfying. The French fries were warm and tasty when they came out. I saw three employees working hard in the kitchen, frying chicken and fries. It took about 15 minutes to get my food to-go. While the restaurant wasn't busy for dine-in, I noticed a lot of people picking up mobile orders. If you're planning to visit, I'd recommend ordering ahead online to save time. I've never eaten inside of a Wingstop until today, though I do get my wings from here to-go. This Wingstop is located on the corner of Winchester & Ynez. There's plenty of parking in this small shopping center. When I walked in, I was surprised that it was crowded!! There were 6 tables and luckily I was able to get the last vacant one. There were a lot of people standing at the front waiting for takeout orders. HK, this location not only was packed inside, there's high traffic for takeout orders (most of the orders were mobile orders). The majority of the crowd inside were Gen-Z, so I'm assuming this is the new Friday night hangout spot? The ambiance was very nice even though it was crowded. I was just chillin', listening to the songs played on the speaker (as I waited for my food) Lisa Lisa & the Cult Jam "Head to Toe" and 38 Special "Second Chance"... I love the lyrics!! Definitely vibin, lol!! Service was very slow. I waited 27 minutes for my order to come out. When it did, wow!! Everything was so fresh and very good!! Yummm!! I got the OG Hot & the Garlic Parmesan wings w a side of Cajun Corn. If you've never had the Cajun corn before, you'll need to try it ASAP!! The 8-piece wing combo was very filling, I was stuffed!! It was more than enough! Let's talk about the housekeeping here... firstly, there is no trash receptacle anywhere to be found in the dining room-no joke, IRL!! People were leaving their trash on the tables, and there were chicken bones on the floor!! Second, there are no individual napkin holders at each table. You will need to go to the counter where they have a paper towel roll and grab a bunch to bring to your table. The restroom was a bit filthy, with lots of used paper towels on the floor. With 3 people working (2 cooking, 1 at the register), they were seriously understaffed (seems to be the ongoing trend in ANY type of industry nowadays, sadly). The staff were really nice, though. I chose the limited edition flavor "lakers legendary Garlic" which is a Parmesan Garlic dry rub, but with a little kick. It wasn't too spicy to where you couldn't eat it, just enough to tingle your tastebuds. And I also tried their Cajun fried corn, and wow was it amazing! Not too dry or spicy. Just enough! The staff was friendly and had a smile on their face. I couldn't remember his name, but the one with the black curly hair, he was the best! 2 things that's really the main thing you need to make it good. When you order Cajun rub, there's suppose to be rib on there. They seem to be a lot of orders going on at the time and they forgot to put the rub on my wings and also left feathers on the wings. So without the rub on the Cajun the feathers really stood out. Please take your time to make sure all orders are season up the way there order. Avoid this disgraceful store and stick with Epic Wings. They hire 16-20 year old kids that have never worked in the service industry and do not understand customer service AT ALL! My order was placed at 9 am super bowl Sunday the 9th. Pick up was scheduled for 2pm same day. when I entered the store 5 employees were standing around because everyone's orders were delayed and the pick up cart was full of orders sitting getting cold. The deep fryer baskets were full of wings and strips with no one even preparing them. then the manager says I'm sorry were running behind it will be about 1-2 hours delay, we are extremely busy. Everyone started yelling in the store about their guests waiting and the manager began asking upset customers to leave the store and we apologize for any inconvenience.
