My daughter and I LOVED our Wingstop experience today 8/14/25 at the Santa Ana, Macarthur Blvd location at 6:45pm. It was our first time ordering at this location. I had just picked my daughter up from her volleyball game and she was famished. A Wingstop near her new school was what she wanted. And she wasn't disappointed. We were greeted and warmly welcomed by Antonio and Dulce. I thought one of them said "Hello, welcome to Wingstop", or something similar. We felt welcomed right away. Both were friendly, while being professional. Antonio was patient with us while we were looking for what my daughter wanted to try and patiently explained to me what the Combo meal included. Dulce then was quick and efficient in having our food prepared. Within minutes, our combo meal came out hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered. What stood out most was how friendly the staff at this location was. My daughter commented "they are all so nice here." And they looked like they worked well as a team, staying upbeat and making sure every customer was taken care of. I thought that this location's staff, represented by Antonio and Dulce's responsive and friendly service, aligned and represented well, Wingstop's core values of being "Service-minded" and providing excellent customer experiences. Shoutout to both of them for their great attitudes and excellent service. Ordered take out for daughter as she likes the food here. Went to pick it up and got home and she sees it and say's the order is incorrect. So I called and talked to the manager and explained the issue. She expressed her regret for having us get the wrong food. She said they would re-do the whole order at no charge and just keep the first order. She also asked us to bring in the wrong item for verification. Took it back, showed the issue and left with whole new order. The fact they were willing to proved the whole order over again for free is a very good outcome. These wings, plus fries, and LOTS of ranch always hits the spot! This time, I also wanted to try the fried chicken sandwiches. I wasn't impressed nor was I disappointed. Wingstop is my go to place whenever I have a craving for some chicken wings. I usually take advantage of the Monday/Tuesday boneless chicken specials. I usually order the honey bbq, lemon pepper, and garlic Parmesan flavors. Honey bbq is pretty good, I like how it is drenched in sauce while the batter is still relatively crispy. Lemon pepper is a hit or miss or me; I actually might stop ordering it in the future because sometimes there isn't enough flavor and it just tastes like plain chicken (which is dry and boring lol). This flavor can also be pretty greasy looking because of the oil they use to impart the taste, which I have to admit looks pretty unappetizing at times. Garlic Parmesan is probably my favorite flavor because they give you a good amount of the cheese which goes really well with the crispy chicken batter. Overall this is a decent place if you are craving for some chicken wings and if it is on a Monday/Tuesday! I think it is cheaper and you get more bang for your buck compared to BWW in terms of the chicken. Service is hit or miss, but for the most part it has been a pleasant experience. read more
