Despite all of the negative reviews on this wingstop, every time I stop by, I always have a good experience. There are always tables open and clean for us to eat at, and my order is always ready on time. I usually get original hot, lemon pepper, mild, or the korean rub that they temporarily have. I've tried the Hawaiian flavor and BBQ flavor and I am definitely not a fan of those. I have had a couple experiences where I did not get the right amount of wings, but they were happy to correct it for me, and they even gave me some extra wings. I love their potato salad, but this place is a hit or miss for it. Cashiers are not friendly either, so it'd be nice if they could work on their customer service a little more. Also, small side note, I hate their bathrooms. Soap smells weird and they have no mirror. read more

With the door wide open, I walked in to the empty counter to decide what flavors would suite my munchies for the. I typically don't like to review restaurants until I eat the food, but I feel that my experience here warrants a review, and here's why: Note: I understand that we visited here on Superbowl Sunday. We expected to wait a bit for our wings (15piece to go). I also understand that this was the opening weekend for this location. Here's where they could have won back our service: 1) When we ordered, they made no mention at all of having an excessively long wait. This wasn't a "superbowl" wait, this was Space Mountain at Disneyland on a Saturday afternoon wait. If they had mentioned this, we would have just come back another time. 2) After we ordered, and stood to wait, the "manager" (I use quotes because I am not entirely sure he was a manager), came out to the ground and said, "I'm sorry folks for the wait, we are new and trying to get everything out as fast as we can." First mistake: Why would you open a location on Superbowl Sunday with an entire staff of new employees?! Seems a little irresponsible to me. Especially at a wing place. Either wait until next weekend, or have seasoned employees working the new location. 3) After we waited for about 20 minutes, I asked around how long people were waiting. When I heard over 45 minutes, we decided to get a refund and just come back another time. When I asked for a refund, the cashier had NO IDEA how to process one. I watched as she and the "manager" attempted to figure it out. When they couldn't, the "manager" said to as he thrust my receipt into my hands "Just wait a minute." After ten minutes, when he had not returned (and there are now about five others attempting to get a refund), I asked another cashier for help. She said under her breath that the "manager" had no idea what he was doing, and got another man to help us. This man also took at least ten minutes to actually process my refund (that was $12). It was ridiculous. Another customer that I had spoken to, was attempting to get a refund as well. He had placed an online order at 11:00am, told to pick up at 2:00pm. It was now 2:30 and they were telling him it would be another 25 minutes. That is completely unacceptable. All of these could have been easily avoided. As we were standing there trying to get our refund, they were STILL not notifying new orders that it would be an hour wait. If you don't have any idea how to process refunds, you should probably start being up front with customers from the beginning. All of this, and the "manager" still couldn't even hand out free cups for a free soda for waiting, or possibly some other sort of incentive for the fact that this "fast food" was taking over an hour. Not to mention, they had over 10 employees working in about a three foot hallway. No wonder it was taking so long. If, for some reason, we ever decide to try this place again, I will fully update my review based on the food. But for now, until they have a better staff, I would steer clear. read more

I tried to give this franchise location the benefit of the doubt since it was new even after the Super Bowl fiasco or as about 50 customers like me refer to that as "Black Sunday" they were so backed up with orders that my 2pm pick was not ready till 3:45 pm. I gave credit to the staff and the manager for doing the best they could with the backed up orders. They even went the extra mile with customer service and gave out free drinks and signed us up for a free order on the franchise next time we ordered. Which brings me to this past Saturday I placed a call to place an order to go. I was asked to "hold" and I did hold for 17:57 in fact when my wife said why don't "you just hang up and drive down there" I said oh no "I'm invested now I'm not hanging up" I did drive down there to the Wing Stop walked in and when I was asked by the girl at the register if she could help me. I said "yes could you tell me what is the phone number on my phone and how many minutes that I have been on hold?" She replied that's our phone number then she looks over to the phone with the receiver cradled upside down and then back at me and said "Oh no" and I said OH YES! It was the same. LOOOONG wait, and this time I didn't phone in my orders, I actually went inside and ordered. The worst Wingstop ever. We went here about an hour before closing and they only had boneless left. That is fine with me, so we waited for our food. We ordered the Cajun and Lemon Pepper boneless and an order of fries. Oh god, they were horrible. The Cajun was super off and had an off-putting sour taste to it. The Lemon Pepper was way too salty. What's the deal with this Wingstop location?? Does anybody seem to have a logical answer as to why the service here is nonexistent..pathetic.. terrible? How is this particular Wingstop still in business when customer service is downright horrendous. Why can't you order online from 6-8 pm?? (I understand that is possibly peak times for this location), but when you try calling as an alternative the phone will just ring and ring and ring frivolously to no avail. In addition to the website, it does not clarify if online orders are unavailable from 6-8 pm on Saturdays (the day I called) or everyday, which in turn gives customers only one option and that is to drive to the location, wait 15-20 minutes to order, then wait an additional 20 minutes for you food to be prepared. Is it really that serious for a few measly wings? To me it wasn't. That was my experience on a Saturday night at this Wingstop. Given the fact that I'm as random as they come when it comes to having wings, I really have to be in the wing eating mood. (Football games, Basketball games, Fantasy football drafts, Boxing matches, UFC matches), or just a random ol Saturday night when you don't feel like cooking and just want to have some Wingstop without all the hoopla and BS that comes with it. Well, my wing eating adventure never matriculated for when I drove over there I was bombarded with a 40 minute wait time, it was at that moment when I had enough and said to myself "Fu*k this sh*thole!!". It's too bad because my heart was set on having some wings but I was let down in epic fashion. I most likely will not ever attempt to come here again when I need a wing fix. It's was the lunch shift and the young Female Manager was leading her team well and training them to do there job well also. I don't make reviews often but this is the second time this has happened at this location. I work 12 hours a day 6 days a week. Have to order for pick up on my way home. I ordered there special 16 boneless wings and strips. Added for me the bone in wings. Don't like boneless. I have to order dinner at my lunch when I have time and specify a time. I am not even sure where to begin! First, the girl working the cash register (no name tag, long pink nails) was too busy on her personal cell to help us for the fist 3 minutes. Not terrible, not great, but not terrible. Finally, when she acknowledged me I told her I had an online order. She checked in the back said it'll be about 15 mins till it's ready. It should have been ready 10 mins prior to my arrival. My order was supposed to be ready by 6:37, and I got my food at 7:08! WTH! would I have ordered online if I was just going to wait that long to begin with! There was another gentelmen there who was not too happy as well, as he had to wait too long for his food too. I was not the only one with an online order that was waiting and was dissatisfied with the service. And everyone made a comment about the cashier. A couple walked in went to the register and the girl (cashier, no name tag, long pink nails) never even acknowledged them! Again she was on her cell phone. After at least 5 mins of waiting they decided it wasn't worth it and walked out. I don't blame them, and sadly one other customer did the same thing. There were two girls in the back making the food. As we waited, there was another customer who complained about cold wings and how he had never seen that particular flavor look that way! Definitely don't recommend eating at this location. My first time coming to wingstop.(San Jose cottle Rd) Didn't know what to expect. Let's start with the food. I ordered the cajun sandwich combo and garlic parm sandwich. Both were great except my fries were cold. Not sure if the wait time is the same at every location but I had to wait 45mins for my food. I found that mind bottling. After 30mins I asked about my food. I was told 5mins but more like 15min. I feel the cashier should notify the customer up front about the wait time and give us a choice if we want to wait so long. I didn't like that I payed and after the fact I was told it takes that long. As a mom it's nice to take time off from cooking and pick something up for dinner. There is now a Wingstop on Cottle!! This Wingstop is located in the same parking lot as Safeway. The entrance is near Panda Express & Panera Bread. It would be nice if there was an entrance on the Safeway side, but customers just have to walk around. I came here for dinner with my husband. I'm glad this location also has the 60 cents boneless wings on Mondays. There was no sign, so we had to ask the employees. Our food was made fairly quickly. Within 10 minutes, all of our wings and fries was ready. I like how when you dine in, all of your food is served on a tray, so its easy to eat. I've been to other locations where they still pack up your food like its a to-go order, even though you say 'dine in'. I love getting my wings with the Mild sauce. I can still enjoy the buffalo sauce flavor without it being spicy. I loved how the boneless wings was still crispy when the sauce was mixed over it. If you order the wings 'plain', you can just dip them in the sauces, too. The fries was also really tasty. It was not over cooked or burnt (like other Wingstop locations). Overall, service was really good here. All of the employees was very friendly to their customers. The tables was kept fairly clean. I'd definitely come back when I want more chicken wings. read more

Arguably the worst establishment I've been to. Service was horrendous. Two separate employees were the issue. The first employee legitimately ignored me, while she was on the phone having a personal conversation (I could overhear everything she was saying), while I stood at the counter waiting to order. This same employee would take personal calls on the restaurants landline while I waited. I also overheard her turn a customer order down on the phone: "We're not taking phone orders right now," and proceeded to hang up. The final straw that I didn't want to order food from this place ever was witnessing this same employee handle an order of wings and rearranging these wings in a to-go box with her bare hands. The second employee had her family (husband and two kids) come into the restaurant and continued to hand them free items in front of customers waiting to order. She handed them free food, drinks, and actually ignored customers while she tended to her family. I never typically review establishments unless the service is so appalling that it forces me to speak out. So disappointing that this location is run so lawlessly.
