But I went here today, and as usual, got lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. In the past, i've already realize the fact that the wings are super oily, but today it actually bothered me, weird huh? The wings are usually ready within 14 minutes, thats what the cashier will tell you too! Taste is pretty consistent i'd say. But too much of those wings are really doing nothing good to you. SO MUCH OIL! I guess random cravings, or if you're intoxicated, the wings will taste much better. In fact, I should know the answer! Since I've had lemon pepper wings while i was intoxicated. San Carlos Wingstop is Unbeatable. Keri Hilson told me, she said "sometimes love knocks you down". Well, Bone-In Garlic Parmesan with Ranch, you knocked me down. I love everything about you, right down to the puddle of cheese-infused butter that you leave when you're gone (I don't eat that part, I just appreciate it). Boneless Lemon Pepper 'wings' are a surprise hit. I like the fries, a nice piledrive of salt and fat to the face, followed by a punch of sugar to the face. The wings always comes out hot and crispy, and evenly dipped in the sauce. Finger licking good (sorry KFC!)! In case your not sure which flavor you prefer, they will provide you with a small sample of that flavor in a cup to lick to your hearts content. My only complaint though is that they take FOREVER making the order. I have to get some chicken wings for a party, decide to get them from here, I think paid close to $50 for 40 pieces and fries and some veggies, bring it to our party and everyone got really excited about this wings! but you can't enjoy if the are super salty!! call this Wingstop and explain it to them about it and all they can said "sorry nothing we cant do" So I dont think I will ever do this again as they are quite $$$ and they dont care about their food or customer service. I personally like wings better than strips because I like to chew on the bones, but their wings are a bit on the skimpy side, so if you want tons of meat go for the strips. I like the lemon pepper and the garlic parmesan flavours. Beware of the atomic flavour if you can't take super spicy things -- I like spicy things but that stunned me. Came here this Tuesday evening about 8'ish PM. Was at best Buy and noticed this place. I've always made my own wings on the BBQ so I had to come in and give it a shot. The place was pretty empty and wife and I ordered the 20 wing. 10 atomic with sauce on side and 10 garlic/parmesan to go. Lady who took the order was friendly and even gave me a taste of the atomic sauce, which was hot, but not that hot. I use Dave's Insanity Sauce (signed edition), so I can eat pretty hot. Took about 15 minutes to get the food. At first, I was annoyed waiting so long, but after I thought about it. I figure they have to cook each order individually, so I was OK with waiting. This isn't like McDonald's where it's pretty instant. Took the chicken home and I thought it was good. I know some Yelpers say the pieces r too small, but I actually like small size pieces. In fact, when I grill them at home, I always buy small pieces. The flavor at WS and what I cook is pretty much identical, except I slow cook my wings for 2 hours, so the skin is super, super crispy. They do it in 15 minutes. The food is tasty but a little pricey for what u get, but for me, it takes soooo long to grill my wings, it's easier to get them to go, and then reheat them in the convection oven. I must admit the Chicken have a good flavor and cooked almost perfectly, but are you willing to pay over $2.00 per chicken strip for the 3 piece boneless strip combo (3 pieces of average size chicken strips, 1 drink, 1 order of regular seasoned fries and 1 dip) total price with tax $8.73. I had to try this place, since my friends and co-workers suggested, so I gave it a try...after I got over the sticker shock, I was expecting the king of wings (in my case the Creme de la Creme of Chicken strips); what I got was above average sauced strips, not really worth $2 a pop. The bigger wings kinda creep me out imagining the hormone injections..also I happen to be one of the many people who saw the photos of "KFC abnormal looking" chicken that went around the chain-email a few years ago...and the image of the scary looking abnormally fat chicken with no feather still haunts me. My favorite flavors are the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan..I usually eat my wings with the honey mustard dipping..yummm!!!! From time to time, I will order a few atomic wings. For non-spicy eaters, be warned with the spicy atomic sauce that will stick on your fingers for at least 24 hours! and of course it will burn your mouth, tongue, and lips!!! Oh Wingstop. How delicious your fries were the first time I tried them. I keep going back, hoping in vain to repeat that experience. But alas, I must have tried them on a day that a veritable Fry Maestro (Frystro?) visited your kitchen, one skilled at placing the perfect blend of seasoning on perfectly cooked spuds--an experience never to be repeated. I took my fries back to the office and forced all of my co-workers to try at least one. They all agreed that they were uncommonly good. Since then, I order Wingstop online every month or so (I also learned from that first experience that the service was REALLY slow if one chose to wait in line). I discovered that I also love your garlic parmesan tenders (the teriyaki I tried the first time was kind of icky). So that became my standard: garlic parmesan tenders, with fries cooked extra-well and with extra seasoning. The tenders are not always cooked long enough, so I started requesting that they also be cooked "extra well-done." Sadly, though...the quality just isn't consistent. Today, I indicated that the fries should be extra well-done, but not the tenders. So of course, the tenders were rubbery. The fries were okay, but. again...Not a repeat of the First Time. I'd probably let all of this go and not bother to write a review. However, today, the cashier ignored me. When you order and pre-pay online, you are supposed to proceed to the counter and get your food immediately. The cashier never once looked at me, just proceeded to serve the guys in line. The cook, after bringing orders up twice and seeing me still standing there, finally just gave me my food. But he did not give me my drink cup, and the cashier (still ignoring me) proceeded to answer the phone that had JUST begun ringing, so I went ahead and grabbed my own drink cup. Had to stand on tiptoes to reach it. Should have upgraded myself to 32 oz, but I don't drink soda very often. Ah, the decor mixes the romance of a concrete warehouse with the elegance of a feed storage shed. The cashier combined the insouciance of an off duty DMV employee with the fatalistic ennui of a child laborer. The un-bussed tables, covered in a sticky layer of goo held the remains of several meals and made it abundantly clear we would not be disturbed during the long wait for our food, despite few customers. Locating both the single 350' paper towel roll and the empty straw dispenser, scrolling the endless soda machine menu to create custom drinks that all taste the same, and testing our prescription lenses while viewing the tiny TV's gave us almost enough to do while we waited some more and discussed how we would run the restaurant differently. Yes, the food is actually pretty good, but the execution ruins it. The chicken is delicious, but the 20 ounces of soda do not allow enough room to consume a small individual chicken order, let alone the double entree sized trough of fries. The best advice would be to order just wings online, with maybe one order of fries to share among a family of 9, and pick up the order an hour later to eat at home with your own healthy beverages.
