We were shocked to find a meal fit for a child in our baskets. Seriously, it's a kids meal. Why is this place busy when the wings are just no bueno? We did notice it was mostly teenagers eating here so maybe that's where all the business is coming from. The service is slower than molasses. When we walked in we were the first in line yet waited 20 min for our order. The sauces are bad. The spicy Korean Q is supposed to be what exactly? The lemon pepper, highly recommended by the cashier, was basically juice sitting in the basket and the wings sat on top. I suggest he stop recommending sauces to customers. I ordered Garlic Parmesan & Lemon Pepper flavor chicken wings with French Fries. To start I do think the fries are mediocre because it's nothing special and not even crispy, usually soggy & crispy-ish. Forget the fries, the wings is the focus here and it was delicious. They're actually good sized chicken wings and incredible juicy and well flavored. The only downside for me is it's kinda far from where I live, but I think it's well worth it. I would give this place 0 stars if that was an option. I have been a loyal customer to Wingstop for years and have ALWAYS gone to this location. Last night will be the LAST time I will EVER spend my money at this place. I was also not the only person having issues here last night. Not only was I yelled at by the cashier (who clearly probably never held a job ever in his life) I was also yelled at by the so called "manager" (old man in his 50's with a sparse grey pony tail). Mind you I did not raise my voice at all my whole encounter here. I placed an online order for pick up. I showed up 15 minutes (9:02) after I placed the order because it says on the app that the order should be ready at about 9:12 PM (5/12). I ordered a medium combo w/ 8 wings. When we got there I sat in my car as my partner went in to pick it up. I waited 20 minutes in my car wondering why my partner hasn't gotten the order yet. So I got out and went in to ask why it's taking so long. My partner had already confronted prior to the manager and the manager had the audacity to yell across the store from the back of the kitchen. When I went in, the cashier kid tried to accuse us of never paying for our order. first of all, YOU CANT EVEN PLACE AN ORDER WITHOUT PAYING. I even had shown them a receipt which the manager DEMANDED from me. Then they had the audacity to say "we had a lot of orders before you and we are only 2 minutes behind in orders." In total we had already waited 50 minutes since the order was placed online. THIS WAS JUST FOR 8 WINGS. EVERYONE WHO WENT IN AND ORDERED AT THE COUNTER HAD RECEIVED THEIR FOOD BEFORE US AND WE WERE STILL WAITING. Before leaving the store with a portion of our order, the cashier child said "at least your food is hot" when we said, "50 minutes for 8 wings, ridiculous." My partner and I left the store and tossed the food away because at this point we were humiliated, disrespected and basically paid to get YELLED at. FAST FORWARD, this cashier child left the store in his uniform, on the clock, STOOD IN FRONT OF MY CAR and threatened to fist fight. Not only that, he spat on my car. I went back and looked at my dash cam to see how long each customer had waited in the store. All of them had received their order within 15 minutes or so. I have attached a photo of the cashier. It seems like someone else also had an issue with this rude employee. I suggest you guys fire him or you will continue to lose business. The "manager" also needs to be fired because rather than be apologetic and reassure customers, he berated me and was all up in my face pointing fingers, making up bs excuses for their behaviors. The way he handled this whole situation was unprofessional and if he's the manager then he's setting a great example of how to get people to never come back. No wonder his employees act this way. This location is very slow with orders especially on Tuesday nights with the movie theater a few minutes away. Taste of wings are same as any other wingstop. Not sure why they haven't upgraded their TV's like other wingstops but they still have 26" TV's after 10 years now... I'm sure this specific location is doing well to upgrade to a larger size tv. Meh is a good way to describe Wingstop. There are other places I prefer to go. Fire on the Mountain is the place to go if you want buffalo goodness and don't mind dropping a pretty penny on them. Unfortunately, I can't get to FOTM on my lunch break, even if I sprouted my own wings. Since I was out doing Christmas shopping on my lunch break, I did the online ordering and it wasn't ready until 10 minutes after they said it would be. Mondays and Tuesdays, boneless wings for 60 cents is pretty good, but they charge 95 cents for a side of ranch, or another 95 cents for veggie sticks. Both are included at Buffalo Wild Wings, and they have better sauce. Wingstop's boneless wings were also a bit mushy, I wasn't very impressed but I suppose they were a decent size. Wingstop's fries were quite good though, and only $1.95. In a pinch if you're really craving, I suppose they're not a bad lunch option. read more

This is my Friday lunch spot. If I'm eating lunch out this is where I'll be. First off, I'm a wing snob. I used to live in Florida where we had several places that just served wings, nothing else. I'm using to great chunky wings. I like my wings dry and this is one place in Portland that can do it and still have the flavor. I get mine lemon pepper seasoned with all drummettes. Most Portland places fry up some tiny wings, drench them in sauce and then sling them to you. Not so here, my wings are always nicely dry and very edible. I've been to Fire on the Mountain and Old Chicago. Fire on the Mountain, both spots, are too Portlandized for me; Old Chicago has good jerk wings but my stomach starts complaining afterward, I don't know why. I've tried wings pretty much every where I could in Portland trying to get back to that utopic (I'm even creating words I like it so much!) experience and Wing Stop is the closest. I didn't mention the good sweet tea (put some more sugar in it to make it really sweet!), that makes me almost feel like I'm back watching Florida State beat up on Florida again! You're gonna ask me about Buffalo Wild Wings next, right? I've been there and the only "dry" wings they had were a seasonal flavor. Sorry but I ain't a seasonal eater. If you call in your order you can have them ready when you get there. They know me and know what I order so I just say my name and they ask me how long. So, like any reasonable customer I went to the counter to ask for the order to be corrected. Reassured that I would receive the correct order shortly, I had a seat to "enjoy" their limp french fries.
