Either the driver took the food for themselves and lied about the order not being there. Or someone else picked up the order. Now my son is out $41 and we are having to battle with DoorDash to get his money back. So after day in and day out of seeing ads for their chicken sandwiches I could no longer resist. We decided to just get a bunch and see what the flavors were like. It's hard because with prices being so high nowadays they seem like small sandwiches for the price, but I'm not sure they're such a bad deal. I used to love Wingstop so much and I never thought there would be the day I would feel otherwise. Went recently and didn't enjoy it and thought it was a fluke. Went again this week... came to realize that something changed and I'm just not impressed anymore. Lemon Pepper Bone-In, Garlic Parmesan Boneless, and the fries were always enough to get me to come here. Idk what happened or if something changed in the way they cooked lemon pepper but the flavor is NOT what it used to be. It wasn't seasoned enough our last visit, so we asked for a little more seasoning and got nothing but a pile of dry rub dumped on our wings. It was too salty and there was so much seasoning I literally was coughing/choking on the dry rub every other bite. I loved when the wings used to be a little more oily and the lemon pepper seasoning wasn't just a rub (more soaked into the wing itself). Now the wings are drier + dry seasoning = no thanks. The Garlic Parmesan was also so salty I couldn't get through a couple pieces. Idk if it was the wings that got saltier or the seasoning, but even dipping in ranch was hard for me. I got sick of it fast and was disappointed because I love a good boneless Parmesan. Fries were fries. You ask for crispy, they're soft, when you ask for extra crispy they're a little burnt and dry. Overall still okay but not enough to come back here alone. The only thing I liked was the Original Hot wings. We ordered the 50 wing family pack that comes with two large sides, carrots and celery and 4 different flavor choices for the wings. We got some boneless and some traditional, a large fry and cole slaw. Most of the traditional wings were dry in my opinion and I only ate a couple, the garlic Parmesan boneless wings were the only ones I liked but I could've lived without those too. We got fries with ranch and the following flavors for our classic wings: lemon pepper, original hot, and garlic parmesan. It's worth the extra cost to get their side of ranch because it's house made! This place is SO much better than Buffalo Wild Wings. I refuse to step foot in a BWW unless it's the last resort and if I have 2+ hours to waste. Wingstop's wings are so crispy, full of flavor, and the meat on the wings are so much bigger than the small and sad looking wings BWW serves. I personally prefer this place over Fire on the Mountain and Buffalo Wild Wings, for they deliver the best flavors of sauces and the wings a fried perfectly with the batter being crispy and crunchy. Some sauces I recommend: Cajun, Lemon Pepper, Louisiana Rub, and Mango Habanero. My personal favorite is the Cajun and I cannot not order this when I come here. The only con of this place would be that the wings are somewhat small, especially in comparison to Fire on the Mountain (and some other places I've tried in the past) however they're definitely not too small. THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS PLACE: The french fries. They are hands down the best fries I've ever had. I believe they are coated in black pepper, but I don't know.
