I always come to this Wingstop for a late night grub and it hits everytime! I get the 2 person boned-in wings meal with half louisiana rubs and half lemon peppers. These flavors are my staple and each are opposite ends of the flavor spectrum. The louisiana rub is more flavorful and heavy whereas the lemon pepper is on the lighter and lemony side. The workers get my order in quickly and the food always comes out shortly after! The only thing I would comment about is their drinks machine. It honestly is a hit or miss when it comes to how diluted their drinks are. There are times where it tastes like water, but there are also times where the drinks are perfect. Parking: There aren't too many spaces open but I usually don't have any trouble finding parking.

Spacious and clean Wingstop location in Pacific Beach! Orders take quite a bit to get prepared but the wings are pretty decent and juicy. I definitely recommend the Lemon Pepper and Mango Habanero flavors for wings.

It's wingstop. It's PB. It's exactly like how you'd expect, and it got the job done. I'll be back for more lol

5/10/23 Really great service tonight! Jonathan's service is as fire as the wings here! Jonathan probably bad the best customer service I experienced in a while ordering at Wingstop! Will come again thanks to Jonathan Unfortunately there was 0 seasoning on the corn but still 5 stars for Jonathan's service in

Huge fan of Wingstop and elated it's in PB. The sauces are great, the prices are great, and the specials rock. Plan to come here often.

We saw an Andre Reed jersey on the wall and the owner chatted with us about it for a bit. He was on top of everything with service, friendless and vibe. We ordered a bunch of wings and fried pickles. The dirty ranch, dirty blue, Asian bbq, and salt and vinegar which were mind blowing! My first time trying that flavor and it hit the spot. The draft beers were super cold and the ranch dressing slaps. Can't wait to return.

The Mac & cheese balls are infused with jalapeños & bacon. As for the wings, I ordered the 10 piece bone-in Asian orange wings & apple bourbon chipotle which came with the sides of carrots/celery & ranch sauce. You can definitely taste the bourbon & the orange in the wings. The wings are cooked perfectly! Crispy, throughly cooked, tight, well-rendered skin. Very flavorful! They have a large amount of flavors to choose from but highly recommend the Asian orange wings. The service was very quick. Our food came out in a matter of minutes. Very clean and the playlist is 10/10! Music ranged from lots of hip-hop, country, electronic & some reggae. 2 gender neutral bathrooms are available. Clean, smells good with an automatic hand soap dispenser and hand dryer. Would come here again.

The business still features offerings from Mati's, but it is now a food collective. A chicken wing vendor and a future chicken and waffles vendor will be sharing the same kitchen. Parking is free for up to 30 minutes in the shared lot. After that duration, you need to pay at one of the available kiosks. Since these were the early days of The Playground, there were operational kinks that need to be smoothed out. First were the unusual business hours (e.g. 9 am to 9 pm on Thursday and Friday, only 7 pm to 9 pm on Sunday, etc). My initial attempt to visit occurred after work on a weekday. Despite the supposed closing time of 11 pm, the doors were locked at 5:30 pm. Second was the lack of prices on the menus. That is a cardinal sin in my book because if you are open to the public, then you owe it to the customers to disclose the costs. The first item for my to-go order was a snack size serving (six pieces) of Chicken Wings. I picked Bonnie's Barbeque for a sauce that featured a sweet and smokey flavor. The wings were coated with the sauce and not deep fried which made them a bit healthier. The second item was a Birria Quesadilla that came with consome on the side. A flour tortilla was filled with cheese, marinated shredded beef, cilantro, and onion. It was then sliced into smaller triangular pieces and then separated by aluminum foil in a takeout box. The consome had moderate richness while the cheesy, beefy tortilla was filling. I didn't understand the meaning of the new moniker as the interior setup had not been modified. It certainly did not have the ambiance of a playground. My first impression of this place was a three star rating with multiple areas of needed improvement including signage on the marquee. If one is driving down Mission Blvd, then there is no way to notice from the roadside that The Playground even exists.

I visited the…read moreplayground with high hopes based on the reviews, but what I got instead was a stomach-turning disaster. I ordered the Birria Crunch Wrap, and halfway through eating, I discovered a long strand of hair buried in the food. Not just on top in the food. It was clearly cooked into the dish, which tells me that basic hygiene in the kitchen is completely lacking. When I pointed it out to the server, she barely apologized and offered to remake it, as if that would magically erase the thought of chewing through someone else's hair. No manager came to speak to us, no discount, no sense of urgency or genuine concern. The rest of the food wasn't memorable either--bland, lukewarm, and overpriced for the quality. But honestly, after the hair incident, I couldn't bring myself to take another bite. If you value cleanliness and basic health standards, avoid this place. There are plenty of other restaurants that know how to wear a hairnet.

If you're celebrating with a group, the bottomless option delivers: bottles keep coming, and with a big party, some servers will even drop off two bottles at a time and keep them rotating. That said, the food and customer service could use some improvement. I understand how extremely busy weekends can be, so I went back during the week to see if my opinion would change but unfortunately, the food still took a very long time to arrive. Overall, I'd say yes to the bottomless mimosas, especially for birthdays or group celebrations, but be prepared for slower service. The experience really depends on your server, and while the vibes are fun, consistency in service could definitely be better.
