Visited last night and placed an online order to pickup as we were leaving our home. Email confirmation stated it would be ready in 48 minutes. Based on our arrival time, we would have to wait approximately 20 minutes for our order...that's acceptable. But we ended up waiting almost an hour and we went up to the counter several times to check on our order. First time, was when we arrived and one of the workers said they would let the kitchen know we were there so they would try to get it out to us faster. Second time, I went up because I heard the worker call my name and they said they didn't call it and they were working on our order. Finally I went up to check on the order because it had been an hour. A different worker came from the back and said that they "accidentally" gave my order out to someone earlier because there were several orders with the same first name. REALLY? I asked why don't you call out the first AND last name that way you give customers the correct order. They offered a full refund or wait for 10 minutes for my original order. I am so use to the lavish experience of other chicken wing based franchises but this one is very different and homie. Even though it takes time for your order to be served but in my opinion the wait is worth it because the wings are freshly cooked and prepped for you. I gotta say, you just have to eat the wings fresh. Wings or any fried food, just needs to be consumed as quickly as possible, before it get cold and dries out. The wings are fried and then tossed in whatever sauce, so if it's tossed in a thick sauce, you need to eat it there, since it'll loose the crispy skin. A hot sauce, crispy skin, and juicy center is a great thing. The original hot (classic buffalo) and garlic parmesan are great. I usually gotta stick with ranch sauce with the classic buffalo. You can't go wrong with that combo. The meal combo I got the french fries, which are pretty tasty, but to me, it was too much fried food. Fries and fried chicken is overkill to me. Is it due to the fact that there is an Army base not too far from Mililani Mauka and these Military People like things cooked Well Done? It's time to update my review as we've consistently had a good experience here for the past 10-12 months. We live in Mililani and we like wings so we eat her a 2-3 times a month. We always get the cajun sauce on the wings which is 2 away from the hottest. Sometimes we'll add on 5 additional wings to our meal and when we do we put Atomic on those wings. It is definitely hot, the hottest sauce they carry, but it's a good burn. In fact my mouth is watering while typing this. I've recently discovered the tenders and eaten those the last two times we've been. They are a good size and I feel like I can taste the sauce better on the tenders than I can the classic wings. Yesterday we had the 3 hottest sauces. Hubby had 10 cajun classic wings, I had 3 tenders with the Mango Habanero sauce and we added 5 boneless wings with the Atomic sauce. Our complaint in the past has been dry overcooked wings but I think they've gotten better at that as I can only remember once it's happened in quite some time. The chicken and sauces are good but what gets me in the door every time is the ranch dip. I always get extra because I eat it on my fries and my chicken. Sometimes I even use my finger to scrape out what's on the bottom. Don't judge until you've tried it. :) I often will buy a large and take it home to eat on my salad. It's addicting! I'm a big fan of the fries too, even the somewhat sweet seasoning they put on it. They are good on their own or covered in ranch. We were excited, because a new eatery was opening up in our neighborhood. When we walked in, we weren't sure what to do: sit down and order, or order then sit, or wait to get seated. Well, you have to order and then find a seat. It was busy when we went (duuuuuh! It just opened, Sharon). There really isn't much room from the front door to the cashier front. So forming a long line is difficult. If it's busy, the front is just crowded, and if that's crowded you probably need to snatch a table when you see one available. Since the whole family went, my husband did the ordered while I sat at the table with the kids. Now, the menu. We looooove the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. The lemon pepper is so fragrant. I was actually afraid it would be overly peppery, but it wasn't. It has a nice zest of lemon and just the right amount of saltiness. My husband has recently discovered the lemon pepper sauce, and it's just disgusting how he can practically drink that stuff. Haha! He thinks it's just the tastiest thing. We also love the garlic parmesan. We thought we were gonna end up with some strong garlic aftertaste, but it wasn't like that at all. The wings are crispy, light on sauce, yet bursting with flavor. There are a lot of flavors to choose from, so it might take a while for you to find your favorite flavor. Today, me and a few friends decided to come to this location for lunch, as this restaurant would be close to empty and we could probably get our food faster and we would have our choice of seats. Of course, this turned out to be true and the staff was very nice. However, the reasons for the decline in their original rating was due to the quality of their food. I ordered the $20 combo meal, which included 20 boneless chicken wings (you can choose any flavor), two sides, and two drinks. My group decided to share this combo meal, where you choose to get 15 garlic parmesan and 5 Hawaiian style. The garlic parmesan was overpowered by a snow storm of parmesan cheese, the Hawaiian Style was tasteless, and all of the chicken was extremely dry. I felt like I was going to choke on the parmesan cheese. The two sides, we decided on was french fries and bake beans. Though the fries tasted okay, the bake beans smelled and tasted really burnt. Beer, wings and football was the theme of the day. Since I didn't feel like driving to the Shack for wings, I stopped by wing stop. Parking: there is parking in front of the restaurant and in the shopping complex. Parking in the evenings can be tough as there are several other restaurants in the complex that keep the parking lot full. Heads up, if you're in a rush, its best to order your wings before hand to avoid waiting for your order. I didn't heed to my own advice and had to wait 15 minutes for my order. No biggie as they have TV's in the restaurant area to keep you busy while you wait. I ordered three types of wings (hawaiian, lemon pepper and hickory bbq. Is it just me or that hot roll reminds you of pandesal? It's so soft fluffy warm and buttery yum. Anyway, back to the chicken. My boyfriend and I always order that meal for two special. 15 pieces is a lot and the plus is that you can mix and match. My favorite is the garlic parmesan, it's a dry rub so it's not as heavy. For what we get it's a great price because it comes with two sauces and two drinks too. Service is efficient, fast. Plenty of parking. Ok now if this was 100% based off food I would give this 5 starts all day long. With that being said here is my review: The wingstop was a lot smaller then I had hoped it would be. You walk in and you are facing the counter where you make your order. i was mostly disspointed in the lack of beer choices and how they only had bottled and not draft. The lady taking our order was very nice and always smiling so that added to the over all "A-OK" rating. When you sit down you notice they do have 4 TVs with one game on them. this was during a basketball game so I am not sure if anything else was playing but i would prefer mulitple games to watch. We got our food in a timley manner and I will say the wings were very good and so were the fries, I was upset about the "only one dip of dressing" you get with your combo meal as i usally run though that very fast. I think the lemmon pepper wings were the best just incase you are wondering. So I went down there and ordered crew pack (I think that's what it called) 30 pieces of boneless chicken came with fries and veggie sticks. It fed 3 of us well. My husband and I decided to take a trip to Mililani on a whim and this is where we ended up for lunch. The only other wing place we've tried is bww, so this is what I will use for comparison. We got there around 11, when there was about 2-3 tables filled. Since there were people in front of us, we had a chance to check out the menu boards. On Monday and Tuesdays they have a special going on for $0.70 boneless chicken wings. We visited on a Tuesday, but we are more traditionalists, so we opted not to get any boneless. Also, with valid i.d., on Wednesdays military, police, and firefighters get 10% off their order. We both got the 8-piece combo that included seasoned fries or veggie sticks and a drink ($11.49). We halved each order so that we can try a variety. Of course, we got the traditional wings, one wet and one dry. I got the garlic parmesean, and hickory smoked barbeque. My husband got the lemon pepper and the hawaiian. The verdict? I absolutely loved it! My fave was the garlic parmesean. There take on it was a dry rub and I loved the flavor. Compared to bww's which is a wet rub and way too salty! The others were equally as delicious. All the wings disappeared in a matter of minutes, thats how good it was! The seasoned fries were good also...and they have flavored teas! Not just foundation drinks. The place is quiet small, but it does fill up quickly. On our visit, we came during lunch and it was filled up by the time we were done eating. We were actually the only ones in civilian clothes. Its safe to say that this is where most of the army and air force thats at the nearby base go for lunch, lol. The only thing that I found odd was that they had A SINGLE paper towel roll by the drinks instead of handing out napkins (or having a roll at each table) I almost missed it, thats how barely visible it was. Chicken wangs were not always my favorite until I went to Hooters and now many years later my current fave, BWW. It might be bc they have more food options but if you care for fries and wings I would come here. Since my first visit, I feel as if Wing Stop has found its own rhythm. They have about ten flavors with Spicy Korean and Louisiana Rub as my current favorites! The last time I came here I ordered the Mango Habanero (which is okay but still spicy but I think BWW's mango habanero tops Wing Stop) & lemon pepper (which is also very good. Since then I make my own wins with lemon pepper seasoning so thanks Wing Stop for the idea! Parking is not bad but it's in a limited space and so weekends may be hard so carpooling with friends is suggested if it is not a weeknight. Bathrooms are outside down the walkway in between of Taps and Apps and needs no key. Prices are good for the quality of food. You can choose a combo with the number of wings with one side and a drink. They also do add on specials or upgrade of sizes for a reasonable fee. Drinks come with free refills! The only thing I would not drink is the raspberry iced tea. It tastes really syrupy. Portions are good and the main thing I like Wing Stop is that their chicken wings are consistent is size and flavor. The workers are friendly and attentive. If you dine in, I noticed that the avg wait time for your order with wings is about 15 min. However, you can order online and it seems like they focus on those orders first. Make sure to have some cash for tip! Napkins are non-existent but their is a paper towel roll where you rip off the amount you need by the utensils and when you are done eating you are told to keep your platter and rubbish on the tables. (There are no available trash cans) lol There are large HD TVs in each corner and keep sports on so you won't miss that game! So it's less in cost than Hooters and BWW with traditional (classic) and boneless wings which is awesome and food quality the same or maybe even better in flavor than BWW. read more

I also got a message from someone from Wing Stop with a great piece of info...Wing Stop has .70 boneless wings every Monday and Tuesday. I haven't had the chance to go back to try them yet but with a deal that good how can I resist. In a nutshell... It's one of those, order your wings at the counter, then have a seat & they call your name. 3 TVs in different corners. There's only two high chairs! Seeing that it's located in an area where there's lots of families, they're definitely gonna have to change that soon! The wings are tasty, but small. I had the lemon pepper & garlic Parmesan... Tasted exactly like the description. Lol. But I do love the crispy-ness of it. My BF had Mild & Hickory Smoked BBQ. The Hickory has a very strong flavor. Very delish. The fries we had were terrible. Texture was like they were double fried or something. Idk if it was just a bad batch but they sucked! The prices weren't that bad. Something different from the usual spots in Mililani. & open late!
