Wingstop - 2 10 Wings lemon pepper and original hot - Chicken Wings Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I always order through the app because the whole point is to avoid standing around waiting in the store. Every single time, I arrive about 5 minutes after the pickup time, and my order still isn't ready. I usually end up waiting another 15 minutes or more. I don't understand why it consistently takes so long when there are several employees working in the kitchen and the wings are largely pre-cooked before being refried and sauced. If the pickup times in the app aren't realistic, they should be updated instead of making customers wait. To make matters worse, the fries and wings are almost never crispy. I specifically select "well done" when I order, yet the wings still come out soggy, and the fries are limp. What's the point of offering a "well done" option if it's not actually being followed? Management really needs to get this location under control. The food is can be better and the consistently poor pickup experience and lack of quality make me think twice about coming back. read more

I got DoorDash at 2pm which i understand is late. However, when I say this may have been the worst wings I've eaten it'd be an understatement. They were under fried and where extremely soggy plus they had hardly any seasoning/sauce. I would strongly recommend not to order from here. The employees obviously neglect the quality of food they put out and i personally think they should be fired, especially also based on the other reviews Ive seen. read more

Q: What do you get when you cross a ghost with a chicken? A: A poultry-geist. Would a fart after eating chicken be considered a poultry-geist too? :o I ordered through DoorDash for "Thighstop" after my gal pal convinced me to get some Mango Habanero and Lemon Pepper chicken and tada! I did! AND IT WAS GOOD! Their fries though are what my Yelp-bro and fellow OCA, Morris B. (from Philadelphia --- go add him!), would call, "retirement home fries." Boring! If they didn't come with my chicken, I wouldn't have ordered them. That chicken though... That chicken was tasty! I especially liked the lemon pepper. The mango habanero was oddly dry despite the thick heavy sauce on top so I wasn't too crazy about that. The mango habanero sauce was tasty though. So yeah, get that Thighstop before they stop it or something. read more

This place is something else, first they gave my Postmates order to some 12, or 13 year old boy who's mom decided she would make him do her leg work while delivering my food ( who proceed to rip open my bag of food eat some fry's and take the boneless wings I ordered for the kids. Then when I call in the lady and her manager admitted to me that some little kid sis pick it up only when I asked the manager if there was a policy against kids picking up delivery orders then he proceeds to back track and say well sir I don't know how old he was I can't tell someone's age he had the phone with the order. read more

Wingstop is great , this location however is horrible . I ordered 10 piece well done wings with fries . The order took forever , when i got my food the wings weren't well done && i literally received 6 fries . I laugh when i saw it , how could they serve that && think hmm this looks great to serve . It's not the first time i've ordered there , i guess i should've learn from the previous times . I understand food takes a while to cook , but when i order it 45 mins before i go pick it up && it's still not ready it's frustrating . I would never recommend this place horrible , especially when there's hair on your chicken . L . read more

Excellent service, clean inside and outside the building. CDC guidelines are being followed. I order at the restaurant and then waited outside then returned inside for pick up. The order was ready when promised. Brian and the other employee were very friendly and helpful and in a great mood. Lots of smiles. I highly recommend this location to anyone in the area. Very Very Slow!! Never again. The wait was so long that I could have gone to Target and shop.

I absolutely LOVE this location & the staff here!! From the service to the food, ambiance & everything in between.. this place is by far best. I came in honestly way too late (being late in unfortunately very on brand for me).. this was the first time in my experience that the staff of a restaurant was extremely kind to me & didn't make me feel bad whatsoever. The beautiful woman working comforted me with a welcoming smile, (I wish I got her name) the staff let me know it was no big deal, (which means a lot due to my anxiety, which usually makes me all shaken up with butter fingers & blank brain) they waited patiently as I ran through every one of my cards (not sure which one I had shuffled all my money on to & my phone was dead.) Leo offered me a spot to charge my phone, and calm kindness to reassure they weren't upset about my poor timing. Seriously Leo & his crew tonight gave me exceptional service tonight. I purchase wings every Monday night for 3-6 people, thankfully our normal place was closed, so we ended up stumbling on this Wingstop.. because of Leo, we will be doing Monday Night Wings @ Wingstop on Southern & Longmore from now on!! It makes me so happy to see people taking pride in their jobs! Oh & the wings are unbeatable, damn near perfect! Thank you Leo read more

Ordered the Cajun combo and 8 piece ate and felt disappointed. Left ranch and napkins out of a To go order. A wasted cheat meal for sure. There was left over trays laying on the tables and flys pretty much everywhere something happened to the quality that once was. read more

This used to be our go to spot for a quick, reasonably priced yummy meal. Our son always picks this with a few other favorites. Unfortunately the last few times we have been here for carry out our order is wrong and a sloppy mess, tons of sauce slopped all over or minimal sauce or better yet, get home and missing an entire order of chicken. And the most recent time they handed us a bag and luckily we checked because it was someone else's order. Our photos look nothing like the photos posted from the restaurant. We will be back but hope they can do better. Pay better attention to the ticket orders and get the sauce process right. Oh and we Love the seasoned French fries. read more

Love Wingstop but this location is terrible. This review is for multiple visits. Orders take forever to be done. Pickup/mobile orders are useless because it seems like they wait for you to get there and pay up before they even make your food, since this location doesn't allow payment on the app and only payable in the restaurant. I've ordered from this location many times but continued to do so because it's close to home. I tried DoorDash instead of the app one-time and they completely missed half the order, so I had to drive out there to ask for the other half. Took my family here to dine in one time and they took a total of 50 minutes from order time to food being ready (I checked the time on the receipt vs when I got my food.) Two other people behind me came in together, ordered but one person got his foods 15 minutes after me (1hr 05 mins), and the other person never got their food, even after we finish our foods and left, the other person was still waiting around for his food, I think he's still waiting. One time I ordered on the app but made a mistake, so I tried to call the phone number to either cancel or change my order since I hadn't paid anyway, the phone number didn't even go through and just kept getting cut off. I came to the store and told the person in front about the phone not working, and she just said she doesn't even know, she thinks it's been off for a few days. Yeah OK then. I knew if I wanted to change my order, it'll probably take another 56 minutes, so I just let them make my food the way I mistakenly ordered and left, I just wanted some chickens. They got like 8 people working in the kitchen but seems like it's such a mess. Whoever is the manager or owner needs to get this stuff together because every time I go, there're always 5-6 people getting frustrated, and we can't really blame the staff if your process is inefficient, they're probably just following the rules and didn't get enough training. Half the people working there seems like they're so frustrated themselves, I've worked in fast food/retail so I know. read more

I ordered the boneless meal deal recently and when I opened up my bag imminently there was little black hairs all over the fries and to top it off they were soggy and just disgusting. I then go to open my boxes of wings and same thing hair all through the inside of the box and the sauce, I called them to see what I can do and according to Darian the manager he told the crew member who answered the phone that there's nothing they can do for me. I ordered online and picked it up in the store. It was ready on time. I ordered the 10 wing combo classic wings. 5 lemon pepper and 10 Louisiana rub with veggie sticks and ranch dip. When I got home the wings were almost bare. I couldn't tell which were either flavor. I have been getting wings from stores in several states for years including this store in Mesa and these were the worst ever! Tried to call the store but the line was busy for overvan hour, so off the hook... filed a complaint with corporate, but I'm going to be looking for a new source for my wing fix. read more

The worst possible service imaginable. Rude workers and messed up order. Ordered through door dash because I'm sick at home and they forgot the ranches for the meal, had to drive 20 minutes to get them and the food was ice cold by the time we got back. Asked for a refund and they did not care or oblige. They just continued to state that they did nothing wrong. Not to mention it took 6 phone calls for them to even pick it up once. DO NOT COME HERE. Also the worker "Stella" was unbelievably ill-mannered. read more

Here is an example of a business that subscribes to the motto "Do one thing and do it well". Every time I've eaten at a Wingstop, whether it was lunch with the crew, or today with my oldest son, the wings are pretty solid. I've enjoyed their boneless wings previously, and those are above average. Wings with the bone in are trickier to master. Otherwise, it's basically a flavored McNugget. But with all due respect, I really enjoy their variety of flavors. Today's fare includes a 12 piece (bone in) with fries and a couple of drinks. Wings can get pricey, but this was a decent value, and as it turned out, more than enough for the both of us. My son chose the Louisiana Rub and I went for Cajun. Both had great flavor and a nice kick in the face. One thing I noticed on this visit, when I paid for the check, the cashier announced how long it would take for our order. In other visits, especially on a short lunch hour, this would be helpful information. Sometimes, we've waited upwards of 25 minutes. Good things take time. If you're not in a hurry, these wings are worth the wait. Everyone has a place that they claim they had the "best wings ever!" For me, that place is near Flagstaff, AZ. These are not the best wings I've ever tried, but you can definitely do worse. And you can probably name a few places for that too. read more
