My wife had ordered online and I went to pick up the food.we I walked in I said wow this is a nice looking restaurant they have over here .they had the lights dimmed and some really cool lights moving around the restaurant, almost like a club.the ambiance was definitely nice.they have a cool computerized soda machine also. The chairs and tables were nice.the young lady that was working there was really cool. She was down to earth.so I had picked up my order, I didn't wait to long about 5 minutes that was about it .I ordered there garlic parmesan wings, some hot wings. Also a order of boneless buffalo chicken wings, and some seasoned cheese French fries, and regular season fries. I got the food home and I tasted some of the boneless buffalo wings I said wow these are good they were seasoned just right and had just enough buffalo sauce to make them spicy. My wife said she enjoyed the garlic parmesan wings, they were on the money. She also enjoyed the buffalo hot wings. With her seasoned cheese fries. I had high expectations because my experience with the Wingstop chain has always been excellent.. 1. I was suprised to find that the restaurant was not clean. Considering it is fairly new I expected everything to be pristine.. but, napkins scattered on tables, service areas and the floor. Counters were dusty and employees personal belonging, ladders are in plain sight behind the counter. I arrived at 4:05. Placed my order at 4:11 and didn't receive my food until 4:47. According to the manager the average wait time is 20-25 minutes.. The manager/owner? was very apologetic and offered me free drink ( which I declined) and throw in complimetary cheese fries. It appeared to me that the manager was doing most of the work.. he was on cash register, cooking and assisting customers. A worker from the back repeatedly came out to the front.. looked around and went back to the cooking area.. Not sure what was going on but there needs to be more organization and delegation of duties Food: 1st. I could tell that the grease was old the minute I walked in. 2nd. Why were my chicken and fries cold after waiting soo long for it 3rd. This is my second time ordering from this location. The first time my food took forever and once we got it the order wrong and it was extremely cold. I thought to give this location a second time because the manager made up for what happened. When I received my order today, EVERYTHING was cold. Let me be clear, I love wingstop. Eating lemon peppers in my lemon pepper steppers is one of my favorite pastimes! However this Wingstop location, I will never stop at for wings again. See what I did there! Anyways I visited on Saturday October 15th at around 3:25. There were many red flags. But much like in my relationships I pretended I didn't see them. But your not here for that. Let me stay on topic. When walking up you can see wingstop boxes in the window and I also saw a sneaker just sitting in the middle of the back area. No foot in sight. I walked in and there was garbage spilling out the little bin for trash. The counters were dirty with cup lids and empty straw wrappings. My crocs were sticking to the floor as I walked. It was Just a mess. There seemed to only be 2 people on shift. They were both cooking and attending the register. When I walked in the young lady on shift was changing garbage bags (not the garbage that was overflowing in the customer area) with no gloves on. When I looked in the back 20 mins later she was making an order of food again ..no gloves on. The young man on shift had food residue all over his clothes. It looked like he was cooking with chicken batter and rubbing his hands off on his clothes. He also opted not to wear gloves. He was very polite if that counts for anything. Both employees were eating / drinking beverages while cooking and working the register. Whoever owns this location needs to do better. 2 people on shift at fast food restaurant in the middle of the day on a weekend is a recipe for disaster and unfavorable reviews. Oh and before I go let me not forget to mention the music. The music. I wish I could post a video (If i can i dont know how). I felt like I was at a Lil Baby concert. Dear Wingstop managers/company m daughter had did an online order for the merrick store in queens. When I came in to pickup I was told that the order never went thru & the cashier was laughing as if it was funny or maybe had headphones in. I was told "we can make what you ordered now" and I said okay fine. Waiting for the food was the WORST PART these employees are very rude, and CARELESS all conversations consist of nothing but inappropriate situations, love life, who's smashing who, and someone was bad mouthing the main manager there apparently but it seems like a teenage messy love fest in this store. The language Is also a problem more curse words than regular words. It sounded like more jokes and fun then actual work being done. That's probably why my fries were hard and the chicken was hard as well.... I have read that food was a problem but I always try before listening to others. So I decided to order from them on Tuesday I made a mistake and ordered carry out when I wanted it delivered. I called them to see if I could get this situation rectified. I was unable to get it delivered bc there delivery service is with DoorDash. So they said that I would have to cancel the order and get it refunded. So I spoke to customer service at Wingstop.com she said that she was going to reach out to get my money refunded. I spoke to someone at the restaurant to see if my refund got processed they either don't pick up and if they do they leave you on hold for long periods of time. Anyway I don't know if they processed my refund but if they don't I will dispute the charge with my bank. Anyway long story short they are not equipped to deal with customer adjustments. read more

This location has definitely fallen off from its standards since they opened. I'm no longer ordering from this location because employees no longer answer the phone and their hours are never updated on Google. It says open till midnight but the restaurant would be closed 2 hours at times 3 hours before known closing time, with NO SIGNS POSTED, I must add. Often, soda flavors aren't available & the sprite is either flat or is seltzer water. The cashiers do their best to communicate w| consumers about wait times or reasons why the food isn't consistent, but honestly its not enough. The other night I ordered from Uber eats & my lemon pepper and mild wings were drenched in butter and the chosen flavor. To top it off, I didn't receive my fruit punch beverage because they were out of the flavor. Furthermore I wasn't notified until my driver contacted me & upon requesting a diff. drink, I was told there was no flavors available. I appreciated his effort but the restaurant could have either canceled my order, modified or contacted me, which are options restaurants have access to on their tablets for I have experience w| UberEats Restaurants. All in all, it's a great disappointment & I'm no longer interested in buying food from them, which saddens me bc. Was a little disappointed with the waiting time, but the food was worth it. I'm a little shocked by the several negative reviews here, sounds like a bunch of Karen's willing to leave one star over situational events. The food was decent priced for wings and arrived warm. The two sweet ice teas came warm with no ice. I know some people like their sweet tea like that, but I wish it came cold. The fresh baked rolls are nothing to write home about but good. Nothing special but tastes like their baker with butter and a nice combo with the wings (would of been perfect with a beer.) Their seasoned fries are EXCELLENT. I got the regular fry seasoning and it was some of the best fries from a wing place I had. I got boneless 10 wings, Spicy Korean and Louisiana Rub. Both were really good. Spicy Korean was unique and had a kick, Louisiana rub on the salty side but delicious and addicting. The only thing I WASN'T the biggest fan of was the Cajun Chicken Tenders. Cajun WASN'T a good flavor option for the tenders (although I ate a lot of it haha!) There are just better options. Too many flavors going on and just not what I was expecting from a Cajun flavor. I also wish the tenders weren't like tripped in the sauce. I wish they were still crunchy and just had like a glaze perhaps. Way too spicy and big to eat all of it, but the chicken was good just needed a different flavor. Overall, really loved this place! Will be ordering again from here. I ordered from here a few weeks ago and the order came without sauce and the wings were gross, wet, and greasy with no flavor ( I always pick lemon pepper). Dear Higher Up Boss For Wingstop the building in queens needs a NEW MAKEOVER, A WHOLE NEW TEAM. I wish I would've read the reviews before getting food from here. My fries were soggy & The wings were mushy and atleast 4 had some shades of PINK MEAT when I ate into my chicken. Waiting for my food was also very irritating, inappropriate, and surprising. IF I COULD GIVE LESS STARS, I WOULD!!! This location takes FORVER to make food. Even when placing an order online they never have your order ready by your pickup time. When inquiring about the delays I was told "Sometimes people don't come to pickup their orders." Not sure what that has to do with the customers tbh. Their response basically confirmed that they don't start your order until you arrive at the restaurant. Each visit I have to wait an additional 20 minutes or more for an order placed over 1 1/2 hour prior. VERY UNACCEPTABLE & UNPROFESSIONAL!!
