Pulled up at the bar on a Friday night for a beer, burger and some Brussels sprouts. Service was…read morequite good and the bartenders took good care of me throughout my experience. Food came out quick and was pretty good. I ordered the 819 Old Fashioned burger and the apple glazed Brussel sprouts along with a beer. The 819 Old Fashioned Burgee has historically been one of my favorite burgers of my area. It has apricot jam, Brie, bacon and caramelized bourbon cherries. It was pretty solid, but I noticed halfway through it was missing the cherries, a key piece to the puzzle. Still, the burger was pretty solid. The apple glazed Brussel Sprouts were good, I wasn't sure about them at first to be honest. I had a feeling the sauce and Brussels weren't the right fit, but they quickly grew on me and I came to really enjoy them. I did however feel as though the Brussels sprouts were a little under cooked and were still a bit hard on the inside, still delicious. Overall, it was an enjoyable dinner at the bar, made even better with NCAA basketball playing on all the TVs.

The patio is a great place to hang out, and the overall vibe fits perfectly with the laid-back downtown Hopkins scene. The menu has a really nice variety of elevated bar food. There are plenty of options whether you're gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan, which makes it an easy place to go with a group where everyone wants something different.

The Ope Burger has easily become my go-to and a consistent favorite. You really can't go wrong with…read moreany of their burgers, but the chive and onion dip on this one adds the perfect burst of flavor and makes it stand out from the rest. The Block's tater tots are also my favorite and the perfect side to pair with any meal. The Block is one of my favorite spots for a laid-back night out with family or friends. The food is always great, the service is friendly and on point, and the atmosphere is hard to beat. Love seeing all the dogs on the Pawtio too!!

Took my work team out to lunch and we decided we were going to try the Block Food and Drink!…read more First thing I noticed is that it's dog friendly, they welcome dogs on their pawtio, so that's pretty cute! Our server, Katie, was friendly, patient, and helpful- she really helped a few of us indecisive ones decide between different items on the menu. We started off with the Burrata dip and cheese curds. Cheese curds were delicious, good batter and served with a sweet chili sauce (and another one that I didn't try). I've never had a cheese curd with sweet chili sauce but man... that was good! The burrata dip was good, but nothing too special. The recommendation was the broasted chicken or the broasted chicken sandwich so three of us ended up getting the sandwich. We all rated it differently. Mine was the lowest score, to me it was a pretty plain chicken sandwich but to my coworker, she said it was one of the best chicken sandwiches she's ever had! And said the fries that went with it were a perfect pair! Overall, the team was happy with their meal and service at The Block Food and Drink!

A great way to try out some Korean cuisine!…read more We were seated quickly and the waitress gave us enough time to look over the menu. We really enjoyed the Mandu dumplings, that are crispy and have a flavorful inside. The Korean fried chicken was also a hit. We got the bone in and enjoyed the K barbecue sauce style. But I actually liked the tofu soup and army stew. These soups were not very spicy, but had the spice of the Korean chili flake nicely infused to a flavorful broth. I'm a big fan of glass noodles so the army stew had some nice salty notes with the spam and hotdog. My friend liked the tofu soup and it came with three Bach Chan side dishes. Would be nice for them to have a bean sprout side but the vinegar dikon radish was good! The space was inviting but maybe too bright for me with the lighting. Overall would recommend! I have had many a tofu soups in the cities and i would say this one is my favorite!

Authentic Korean food. Great spot to grab lunch with plenty of parking…read more Service was good- they didn't hover while you enjoyed your meal and conversation but were always available. Food was fantastic! The pork bulgogi was thankfully not filled with fatty pieces and had a pleasant heat that didn't take away from the other flavors. I was not a fan of their kimchi so that and the "salad" they gave as a side went untouched. I think my only suggestion would be that because the bulgogi is such a great portion, I wish there would have been more to the side of rice. Over all, I really enjoyed my first experience and look forward to trying their fried chicken next!
