Everything was fresh and flavorful. The sesame chicken was amazing, easily the standout, and the chicken quality across all dishes was excellent with generous portions. The Singapore chow fun was delicious and packed with flavor, and the extra protein/veggies was well worth it. The staff was incredibly friendly and even mentioned that if there were any issues with the order, I could call back and they'd make it right. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Online ordering was easy and seamless. The inside is small with only a few tables, but they clearly do takeout very well. Quick service, great food, and genuinely kind staff. We'll definitely be ordering again.

They also have signature bowls you can order if you aren't sure what to get. The staff is genuinely friendly, which always makes a difference, and the space is clean and well kept. Fish is good for Minnesota and I love the convenience of grabbing a healthy bowl when looking for a quick bite to eat.

The space itself is quaint, with just a few tables but we were able to snag one for Sunday evening dinner! The staff was super friendly as we hand-picked our bowl components! The fish is always as fresh as Minnesota fish can be ;) great topping choices and you definitely can't skip the eel sauce drizzle at the end! A great serving for the price! We will definitely be keeping HPB in our rotation!

And I overheard another patron request a table for 34* (all ball teams). B&B did not show hesitation to accommodate the unexpected groups. Neither Dan, nor his servers looked panicked or even slightly overwhelmed. They were very organized, moved with purpose and showed strong teamwork. From where we were seated, it appeared everybody, ball team and the regular dining customers, got smooth and professional service. I didn't feel that our food/bev times were affected whatsoever by the large groups; and we received our usual personal, attentive treatment (shout out to Calvin) And the truly talented chefs. Plus those fabulous bartenders. Wow! So happy Brick and Bourbon is showing such success and popularity in Apple Valley. The brisket poutine was pretty solid as well. There were definitely some beautiful cheese pulls involved when pullling apart the fry's. I wouldn't have minded a little more gravy, but still this dish was still pretty good. For my beverage I had the You're my boy blue beverage which is a bourbon, agave, blueberry and lemonade drink. It was tasty and the blueberry really stood out. Lastly, for the entree I had the anytime monte which is their take on a Monte Cristo sandwich. I love this thing wit a passion. Delicious French toast bread with fried ham and bacon and cheese inside. I then slathered it in the jalapeño strawberry jam which makes this sandwich complete. I asked for the sandwich with Fries and let me tell you, they know what they're doing with potatoes. Unbelievably crispy, double battered double fried fry's. So good! I think that this restaurant has wonderful staff, wonderful food, and the one thing it's maybe missing is the interior design is a bit dreary. It's just red everywhere, lots of windows and pretty plain furniture. I think if they can add some flare to the design it would really elevate the dining experience. Felt like I got ripped off a bit, for the cost. I also really wish they would look into adding more menu options. We need queso here, I bet they could make an amazing queso. I also wish they had a salsa specifically for chips. Their sauces/salsas are great, but only on food. Not great with chips. Overall - still great. Go eat here. Service is slower than before. Prices have gone up. Wish they had queso and a salsa for chips specifically. Wish I got a full cup of rice when I order a side of rice, considering how expensive the rice is.

My daughter has been here numerous times and recommended this place for tacos. We put in our order and waited for our number to be called. We grabbed our drinks and sauces while they cooked our food. We sat by the front where the high tops are looking into a glass. You can see the lady making fresh tortillas and they have the machete tacos too!! These are 1 feet taco, equivalent to 3 tacos. I will have to order it next time. Alot of people came to order takeout, otherwise the restaurant was full of patrons with their family. Restaurant is a good size, clean, and self service.
