The batter was amazing and it wasn't overly battered. My wife and I both agreed that the halibut is probably not worth the extra cost. When we go again, we will likely just get cod, or maybe walleye. Service was nice. It seems to be a family-owned restaurant and they seem to run it well. Overall, this is really just an amazing place. It is very expensive, but I was expecting that for fish so I was mentally prepared. I got the Butter Chicken, and I think it was the best Butter Chicken I've ever had. For the price, I was hoping the portion would be just slightly larger, but taste-wise, it was absolutely amazing. Basically, if you're ordering more than one curry style dish, you'll probably need multiple orders of Garlic Naan unless you're fine eating everything with rice or on its own. During the week, it seems like the restaurant doesn't open until 5 pm. I get it... it's probably slow between lunch hour and 5pm. But it was a little frustrating because we like to pick up takeout shortly after work. When I tried placing the order around 4:45, the earliest available pickup time wasn't until 5:30pm. I really wish they allowed customers to schedule online orders for pickup at 5pm or even 5:15. They do not charge a service fee, which is a big deal for restaurants in 2026. There was no credit card fee either. That also contributed to why I rounded the rating up to five stars. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying this place. It will likely become our new regular Indian unless we want to eat earlier and don't want to wait until 5:30.
