We've only heard great things about this little Chinese restaurant and driven by many times. Finally placed an online order to go and got half a duck & an order of cream cheese wontons. When we came to pick up, we were immediately and warmly greeted, they were just wrapping up our order so we had a chance to look over their dine-in menu. It is incredibly expansive!! We were really intrigued by the family style meal options and may have to come back again to eat in the restaurant. When we brought the duck home, it was still hot and so delicious. It wasn't enough for our family of three so we may need to get a whole duck next time. The wontons were a bit greasy though and we only ate about half of the order unfortunately. We'll be back again soon and bring the whole crew!

Best authentic Chinese BBQ food in Minnesota! Family moved here from LA and could not find anything close. Met the family, handing down the cooking skills to the kids. We had our testers (beef chow fun, fried rice with char siu (bbq pork), fish fillet with black bean sauce, crispy tofu, chicken with ginger and onion sauce, pork chops with spicy salt and pepper). All excellent, tasty and they actually taste different (like they are supposed to). Next time roast duck and steamed chicken and more seafood!

Place seemed clean and decent. Service was questionable and seemed the woman didn't like me. I ordered the Yeung Chow fried rice and after feeling ill later checked my plate to find small amounts of rotten cabbage in my food. After digging some I see they have a history of serving bad food and being rude when confronted.

Food is veryyyy delicious! But the customer service can be better. Order out some food one time and they forgot the extra sauce I purchased when i asked if it was in the bag. I also call to see if their wings were available and they said yes, its ready and available but when i got there 15 minutes later, it wasnt even ready. They gave me a option of a refund or to swap it. Food 5/5 Customer Service 2/5

Hidden in suburban town of Brooklyn a little north of Minneapolis, suburbana living in Brooklyn area should consider this authentic Cantonese restaurant for roast duck and roast pork rice dishes. The owner + server that took my order was super friendly. I ordered the roast duck and roast pork rice with vegetables while my friend had the roast duck and bbq (char siew) pork rice and vegetables dish. We also order their wanton soup which was great as you could tell they were handmade (not ordered pre-wrapped from a manufacturer). I gave it a three star because IMHO, the roast duck was not as good as my fav House of Wu in Burnsville where their roast duck sort of melts in your mouth with its oily and juicy meat But if I were to live in Brooklyn this would definitely be a fav on my door dash delivery app FYI - they offer online ordering!

This place is located in a busy strip mall, so parking can be a bit tricky but not horrible. The service here is always good! You can either order ahead of time or I always order in the restaurant and it takes about 10-15 minutes for them to get it all put together. On this stop, I saw a woman being fairly demanding to the staff and they handled it with grace! Awesome customer service! We got snow crab clusters, lobster tails, whole shrimp, mussels , corn and potatoes in spice level 2 House mix seasoning! For my Minnesota friends, 2 is fairly spicy! Not burn your mouth but have some water ready and your nose will run! Just as a heads up! There is SOOOOO much garlic!! We absolutely love it!! We dip crackers or bread in the sauce too! We didn't leave until 7:45 pm, watching the dinner rush come and go while we sat and chatted for hours. The guys were so lovely - engaging, warm, welcoming - and they continually dropped by to refill my friend's emptied water cup over the course of those several hours, to the point that we all started laughing about it. The plates were generous, the seasoning on point, the spice levels perfect. There are several cajun hole-in-the-walls in the Twin Cities, and they're all very chill, but I'd say this spot takes the cake in that area. I'll be back!

Even without ordering their famous boil, everything I tried was fantastic. The fried items were crispy without being greasy, the seasoning had that perfect Cajun kick, and the sides were way better than your average seafood spot. Service was friendly, the vibe was relaxed, and the food came out hot and fast. The food is mostly good, although there is something missing still that could make this restaurant truly one of the best in the state. Still, it's a great night out, especially if you like Korean and/or Chinese food. Here's a rundown: The food: First and foremost, Minari has special menus to meet many dietary restrictions. Not just symbols on one menu, but different menus depending on your restrictions. That's amazing. We ordered off of the Dairy Free (DF) menu, which does include a lot of their dishes from the regular menu. The Szechuan Ribs were my favorite, they are exquisite. The KFC wings are good too, although they could have used a bit more sauce (I am used to Korean-style wings being pretty saucy). The pork jowl was good but did not have quite enough gojuchang flavor. The accompaniments that came with it were awesome, especially the sauces. The bonchon need some work; I would love to see more traditional bonchon, ours had a couple "fusion" type dishes that were a little too contemporary for us. The drinks: The Minari Old Fashioned was AWESOME, a great drink (and the rice cracker was great too). Highly recommend this. The service was some of the best in the metro. From entering (where the host stand will make sure you have appropriate menu(s)), to the server, who was perfectly attentive and very knowledgeable about every dish, including dietary issues, to the complimentary tea and birthday sparkling wine, I can't say enough about the service here. The only weird thing is the dim sum, I would actually just put the dim sum dishes on the menu and bring them out on demand. The ambiance was really nice, and the bathrooms were clean. The final thing I would say is that I think that Minari could benefit from making their Korean dishes a little bit more traditional...as I mentioned earlier, small touches like making the wings a bit "saucier," more gojuchang flavor on the dishes that feature it, and more traditional bonchon would all be great. Still, this is a phenomenal place to dine/drink in NE Minneapolis, and if you like Korean and Chinese food, you will not be disappointed!
