I had picked up an order tonight and they gave me a different sauce than what I was looking forward to getting. The manager was. very understanding and offered to remake the order a couple days from now. I was willing but not looking forward to bringing the order back but understood. However, he was extremely understanding and offered that I just come back another day. I offered to write this review because working in the customer service industry for so long I have never seen the kindness I give received back to me. Just because people make mistakes doesn't mean you should judge them or their company as a whole. Bless these people and may their night be smooth and stress-free. read more

Takes way too long to get one order of wings. This shouldn't take 20 mins to get one order. This is not a dine in type place this is a order and pick and go type. I can make wings at home in the same amount of time. Hell I can get them in less time if I order them from anywhere else and pick them up. Like Glory Days or Wild Wings. This place is keeping their wings frozen and they are thawing them then cooking them to order. It's the only thing that could possibly make them take this long. Or their fryer isn't hot enough. Never coming back. Ever again. I give this place 6 months to a year to close unless they figure out how to actually run a kitchen. read more

I frequent this location as well as many different wing stops, since wing stop is one of my favorite places to dine. But today (08/09/2023) I had a horrible experience at the wing stop located at Middlebrook RD in Germantown MD. I ordered 20 wings and a side of French fries online. I end in the store about 20 mins later to pick up my order. When I left and checked my order in the car I realized I had no ranch like I asked to come with the order , so I went back in. I asked the lady at the register and she handed me one ranch. I asked her for another one since I have 20 wings and obviously 1 ranch would not suffice. She said no , so I proceeded to asked the man that was in the kitchen if he could give me another since 1 was all I got. And he shook his head no. The same lady that handed me the first 1 said I would have to pay additional. I sent my husband in to speak with the manager who says her name is Ariana , to get my ranch. (There was no line or extra orders being handled, they were just standing around. ) He asks politely for one and she proceeds to shake her head no because he never ordered anything. When he tells her our order and that 1 ranch isn't enough her response was "so what! ". The workers that worked this evening are rude and should be taught better customer service skills. The size of the wings were way smaller than usual and the over all service and ambiance was horrible. For the money I pay, the least you can do is be more respectful and provide your customers what they need to make their meal right. read more

Wanted to order a family meal but we could only pay in cash. Could not place an order over the phone because it was $38 :( I'm being picky but having to come in to place an order just to wait there for 30 minutes is inconvenient. Just went to Buffalo Wild Wings up the road instead (turned out to be cheaper for the same thing who knew lol) read more

Great place good food but the new thighs are not the best but they have amazing wings

Worst places ever to order food what kind of workers do they got working here waiting 1 hour for wings and fries it's crazy even when I called before I got there still waiting Then my food was wrong and full of salt got to find a new wing stop won't come here to Germantown never again read more

This place always runs out of something. Whoever manages this place, he is doing a horrible job. One time at 11:30 pm. They ran out of wings. Another time, 10 minutes to close they says they close. What the heck? And today, they do not have the flavor I want. I'm done. read more

I have not been happy with this Wingstop location since it's opening. During my last visit, I had to basically shout to get someones attention TWICE. They saw I was waiting for my order and continued to ignore me for several minutes. I also ordered bone-in online and when I got to the resturnat the order was boneless. When I made aware a wing stop employee of this mistake, he didn't insist on making a new order and said I ordered my meal wrong. I paid money for bone-in wings and shouldn't have gotten anything else. Truly dissatisfied and will go to the Goshen one instead from now on. read more

Ordered on door dash. They did NOT follow order instructions, fries were unseasoned even though we asked for extra seasoning, food just NASTY. read more

My husband and I love wingstop but this place sucks. If we are going to eat the calories than it should be worth it. I'm not sure what the issue is at this location. It starts with management. They should be setting the example and guiding staff. If the staff can't be guided than it's time to hire ones that can be. I get it, it's not always easy but we have been here a few times before and there is always some issue. Example: soda machines not working, food not fresh or under cooked, staff not letting customers know food is ready in a timely manner, staff mouthing off to what appears to be management etc. So whoever is running this franchise needs to take a deep look into who is hired and how their business is run. If not unfortunately this location will close. read more

I am giving them 2 stars bc the wings take a while so you have to be prepared to wait and they are inconsistent. When I went the first time a gentleman had been waiting for a long time and I heard him complaining when other people that came in after him and got their food before him. It was true, seems they lose track of orders and skip around. You could clearly see people place their order wait for a few, get their food and leave him in there lol. Sucked. 2nd time I went the wings were way too greasy. Also, I was the lucky one sitting there waiting forever for 8 wings and some fries. I swear I saw like 5 people come after me, order, get their food and leave. After about 15 mins I had to ask if they ran out of chicken or something. Once I got the wings they were cold and greasy! read more

The fries were pretty good mix of potatoes and sweet potatoes with just the right amount of seasoned salt. I also ordered wings but those were undercooked, almost raw with flabby loose skin and barely cooked meat. I thought all restaurants know to cook wings enough to melt away the fat!?? Anyhow, I spoke with management. No apology. He told me that I ask for crispy wings next time. Will I return? Restaurant was clean, a little pricy, long wait for food, so most likely No. read more

Always my fav wings more than any other place...Taste beats Buffalo Wild Wings for sure...But not to be any different from any other location, no? Now, the reason why I rate this so poorly is what I experienced yesterday. Luckily I pre-ordered over the phone and a rep from I guess their call service took the order not by someone at the actual store. And the reason why is because there was only 1 guy working on a busy Halloween night. 1 guy cooking, taking orders and delivering the pre-orders, etc...There was at least 12 customers there..some who just left. From what I also heard from another customer that this wasn't the only time this happened. I felt bad for that one guy. Even though he showed and demonstrated that he can handle all the orders, etc...this doesn't help those customers waiting. He did mention that the other employees took off. I made a point about work, jobs, etc...How esp the young ones don't know or take advantage of a job and simply don't care. So, who's at fault here? Is it management? Who? My suggestion is 1, get corporate to take care of matters asap...cause this location will die. 2, fire anyone who shows no appreciation for obtaining a job these days. read more

Just went there today and let me tell you, just go to Buffalo Wild Wings. Got there and was told that the wait would be 20-25 minutes which I thought was fine. At least they told me ahead of time. We waited almost 40 minutes. I saw our food ready in the window but was waiting for fries for 5-10 minutes. I'm not sure if it was because they were super busy and short handed or what. Corporate needs to do something about this location. The workers didn't seem to have any fire in them to get orders out. We were not the only ones waiting for a long time either. There were multiple to go orders that had placed their order an hour before and other dine in's waiting as long or longer than us. The bathrooms were a mess and the tables were not well attended. The ice machine didn't put ice in the cup and went all over the floor and which caused it to be wet. Wings were fine, that's the only reason it gets a 1 star. Not amazing enough for us to ever go back. If I knew it would wait that long, I would have gone to BWW and got good service and a waiter. It costs about the same too. This area is well known to have a heavy turn around for restaurants. I've seen good quality restaurants go out of business in this shopping center. They need to get their act together and good workers/management or they will go out of business fast. They probably lost 15 potential future customers today. If I were them, I would not have more services like that quick! I would have at least 5 people working at any given time. Wings and fries working in the fryer all day. Have a mature adult working at any given time to make sure these kids are putting in max effort. Have someone attending to customers needs like orders, tables being cleaned, bathrooms, etc. I would make sure you give accurate expectations for wait times. Figure out a better order completion system. More communication between workers. I don't usually post on yelp, but they need some help! read more

I have never tried Wingstop and was happy to see a new one in Germantown. I was skeptical after reading the reviews but decided to try anyways. Everyone is correct In their review of this location. Why are there only 2 people working here? They definitely need more staff. The wings are good and the girl at the register was great!! I just felt bad for them because they seemed overwhelmed. The ice machine wasn't working and the cook had to stop cooking to go add ice. If they get more staff, this place could be great I think! And much closer than going all the way to BWW. And I live that I could have a beer with my eat in order! read more

First time at wing stop and the cashier was friendly and polite, offered to walk us through the menu and our food came out quickly. Everything is hot and delicious, will definitely be back! read more

Wingstop - Chicken Wings Near Me - Germantown, Maryland

I ordered food online and I went in and picked it up and my food was cold, the fries were cold, the wings were cold, everything was cold... then on top of the my garlic parmesan wings didn't have something... oh yea the actual garlic Parmesan sauce, worst Wingstop I've ever been at, will never go back there again read more

I went back to Wingstop with an empty stomach, ready to eat. The line was long but was moving fast. The service was very helpful and cheerful, despite the long lines. They must have been tired but that didn't stop them from being so enthusiastic! They recommended wing flavors. I ended with the 24 Pack ($26.49 with tax) which included 3 flavors, 3 dips, large fries, and veggie sticks! I went Classic Wings with Garlic Parmesan, Louisiana Rub, and Hickory Smoked BBQ for my flavors. For my dips, I got Ranch, Honey Mustard, and Cheese. IT WAS AMAZING! The chicken wings were cooked perfectly - not dry compared to Buffalo Wild Wing's. Flavored beautifully and evenly! I'm not a huge fan of ranch, but the wings tasted so well with it! Must be laced with goodness. Fries were less salty this time! Better step up your game, BWW, because Wingstop is THE place for wings. read more

See all

If I could give no stars, I would! My husband and I decided to take a chance on this location because it was more convenient to where we lived. Not only did they get our order wrong, they also had terrible customer service and some of the employees had friends hanging out inside with them being super loud. Needless to say, we'll keep making the trip to the Wingstop in Goshen Road! read more

Always loved wing stop but this location has yet to get my orders correct after three visits. Still recommend you go; just double check before you leave! read more

Best wings in Germantown! No frozen taste, and deep fried to a crisp. However, I accidentally ordered their boneless wings online, and they were horrible, dry, and over cooked. I hate boneless wings because the term itself is an oxymoron, and less they're using genetically engineered chickens. I only like regular wings cooked fresh. If you want boneless wings, I recommend going to Ruby's Tuesday and get their tenders, which are made from real unprocessed chicken. read more

We had an order error this afternoon on my husband's pickup order and I called in to notify the person who answered the phone that we ordered 10 Old Bay buffalo wings and only received 7 wings which we did not notice until we got home. We were told that we could come back in and mention my name and phone number and they would happily provide the same meal free of charge with the correct number of wings (receipt must be provided. In my case I didn't have it, but they found it in the computer). The person who answered the phone was the general manager, Marvin, and we greatly appreciate his service. I do recommend to all readers to treat employees with respect if someone makes a mistake which will yield the best result for all parties involved. Everyone makes mistakes. Thank you Marvin at Wingstop. PS the wings and fries were delicious. read more

The people are always so friendly, the wings are always crisped to perfection and speedy service

I love wingstop, but this wingstop possibly has the worst communication ever. i placed an online at 4:10 order to pick up at 4:45, i didn't leave until until 5:30 with my order. after several complaints, they finally started making the order after the fact that i had made an online order. it's ridiculous the amount of time i waited for 15 wings and fries. read more

Garlic Parmesan was way too salty. The wait took over 20 minutes for 2 orders. Soda machine was broken. Also missed a wing in my order. Overall mediocre. read more

This wingstop is disgusting thats the only way to put it. First of all the wings are slimy. They show no love for those wings. Second of all Im not sure what kind of French fri cutter they got over their because when I got my fries I looked like they threw a bunch of shaved potatoes in a basket. I will never return and y'all should not either read more

Long wait for our wings, they were dry, and the fries were sweet somehow.... dont think these wings are worth the wait or the price that we paid for them. read more

-To me wings were greasy -Good flavor though -Long wait -30-45 min for a fast food place is not good -This was made even worse because they advertised quick service -Personally fries were weird tasting, and served soggy and room temperature -However they are new and understaffed so I'd be willing to go to another branch with more experience read more

I absolutely love some wing stop it's great I must say but when I call in to order my food so I don't have to sit there for 30 mins the guy tells me to order online, smh, the guy gets a attitude about it like he owns the joint! I've been going here for a few years now never did I ever expect to be treated in such a manor, secondly they need some wing specials bone in to be exact, those boneless wings for 60 cent for the birds and they come out raw, so if there's anybody listening out there can you plz make the bone in specials kindve something like BWW I hope y'all aren't scared of a lil competition! read more

Sierra (CiCi) welcomed us when we first walked in with the biggest smile. Upon being confused on what flavors to chose, she gave us great descriptions and even a sample. So helpful, very professional and friendly. She helped us out Saturday and we came back because she gave us great customer service. Germantown Wing Stop is our new favorite wing place. Thanks for letting us feel welcomed Sierra read more

We saw the other reviews for this location, but have to say we had a very pleasant experience. Very clean inside, including the bathrooms. Isa recommended the Full Flavor Fix promo which we bought 2 of, and the food was fantastic. David gave us our 2 large fries while we waited for the wings and everything was great. Great environment with soccer playing on the TVs, great music and good time. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more

I ordered 10 wings online, arrived at wingstop at the time estimated online, then proceeded to sit and wait another 20 minutes FOR TEN WINGS. It wasn't busy, I was the only customer in the store. Then when I got the wings they were very sadly under seasoned. Little to NO sauce. Get it together. Would prefer the Gaithersburg wingstop 5832631x over this one. Highly disappointed. read more

So slow!! We waited an hour for our order. They said 18 minutes. Came back the second time for a to go order. They made a mistake on my order and the lady is saying it's not their fault because when I called they have a call center that does the ordering for them. read more

Okay. So I love wingstop and typically I go to the Gaithersburg location. However, since this has opened up I was gladly happy to go to a more convenient location. I have to say I was saddened by my wings. I ordered a Louisiana Rub (which had little to no dry seasoning on it and VERY DRY) Original Hot (which wasn't extra crispy as ordered and had little to no seasoning) and an order of Mango Habenaro (which wasn't extra crispy as ordered and had more seasoning than the others but ...what's the comparison). And we noticed the veggies were just wrapped and tossed in the bag. I'd have to say you guys need to step up your game because wingstop has a great reputation for wings and these were very sub-par. I've never been more disappointed. With quality comes quantity!! read more

This place had bad fries I didn't like their food it was to much sauce and there was a roach crawling around the food and they kept me waiting for service I'm upset waste of money read more

This is the worst Wingstop I've ever been to, the food was terrible and the customer service was worse. I was promised a refund by the someone named Christian and then a couple days later, he never recalled speaking to me. Then I spoke to the Manager (Marvin) several times, and he was just as bad - the final outcome, no refund for terrible food. Don't waist your money or time visiting this Wingstop! I would have given them no stars if I could!! read more

Over cooked wings. Cold fries. No ice in the soda dispenser. BLARING music.

I'm probably a little too excited that a Wingstop has finally opened in Germantown! The location is easily accessible and there is ample parking. The dining area is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. Mark, the Manager, will go above and beyond for their Customers. I placed an order online, with an incorrect pick-up date. I called in and spoke with Mark. Not only did he take care of canceling my online order, he made my order right away for me to pick up at the correct time. I appreciate his willingness to help. I will definitely be returning to this location! read more
