Had a pretty good experience here for weekend lunch. Our server was also very nice. We ordered the all you can eat riblets, boneless chicken, and fried shrimp deal $15.99. Our server was nice to take our initial order and also put in our refill order so that we can get our food together without waiting a long time for refills. He also asked if we wanted the kids meals to come out first which we gladly said yes since the kids were hungry. For the kids meal, the pizza was pretty good with a soft and thunk bread and tasty pizza sauce. They ordered soda which had endless refills. The fries were also really good. The cole slaw was fresh and not slathered in sauce. You can choose different sauces for the riblets and boneless chicken. The garlic Parmesan was a tender on the inside but the outside was a bit too hard for me. My favorite sauce was the Asian chili which tasted like Korean fried chicken. The riblets had a lot of flat bones in there but the meat was good. Everything was pretty salty. For Applebees AYCE, you can't take any leftover food home from your order. We got the Cinnabon Mini Swirls for dessert which was soft, warm, and delicious. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE!! My husband and I went to This Location Friday night around 9pm. Bar was packed which was expected so we opted for a table. Our waiter Luke was not Friendly never smiled or seemed inviting at all, never checked on us which was unfortunate since we came in to enjoy drinks and get Togo food. The only time he "hovered" was when we paid to Immediately pick up check book as we were leaving the table. All in all I would NEVER visit this location again. Came here with the family tonight to take advantage of their $25 - 2 entree and app deal. Looked like a pretty slow Monday dinner and restaurant was quite empty. They had a May 4th / Star Wars special with free appetizers and I asked the manager last named Pacha about it and he said my hoodie qualified for a Star Wars costume and would be ok and I can get the free apps. Waiter Skylar came and I asked about it and went to ask the same manager and he said he never approved it. That was weird. Didn't really deal like fighting for it - I guess the food Jedi in me did t care enough. Heard another table asking for it and they didn't get it either. It was just a one day promo n ur restaurant isn't full - give the customers a perk just for mentioning it. Is one appetizer really gonna put you out. This was my second time coming in and ordering steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium. It came out to be well done. No pink at all. On top of that, the service was pretty slow. they recooked it and it came back pretty much medium well. i took it anyways because i was hungry and just wanted to eat already. if you want to come here for the steak, id think about going somewhere else. This is the second time this has happened. as a discount for the inconvenience, they only took off 15% off my meal and not the whole check. it only removed $3.60 which is incredibly cheap. read more

Fun dinner out with the kids on a Sunday night! We came from an indoor playground pretty close by and wanted to eat out, but with no hassle since we have toddlers. This is my first time to eat at Apple Bees and I did not know what to expect. We got there and were seated at a booth as we requested. Coloring placemats and crayons were given to the kids to keep them entertained. That is always a win in my book. I ordered the Bourbon chicken and shrimp, and I truly enjoyed it! Very flavorful, arrived sizzling hot, and I ate everything on the plate. My husband ordered a Whiskey bacon burger and he said it was good! We ordered The Classic Combo platter for the little kids to share and for us to try (it had nachos and dip, quesadillas, buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks). Everyone had a good meal. If I could give it no stars I would. I walked in with a party of 6 (empty restaurant with handful of people at the bar) and we were pointed to the table to sit at and handed all the menus, okay red flag 1. Waited 20 minutes before I got up to ask if a waiter was coming to the table. Their response was "Oh we don't know where your waiter is." Finally someone came over and we ordered. Waited another 20-30 minutes for our food and my Sirloin was well done when I asked for medium rare. Then apologized and then got me another that was cold and PURPLE in the middle. Manager came over and stated that that is a medium rare. I couldn't disagree more. There were multiple mistakes made from everyone's meal. We work near by and wanted it to be our go to spot but we were more than disappointed and do not recommend anyone going there. read more

But what annoyed me is that for my next 3 refills, which were the shrimp and wings, they didn't come with fries or coleslaw. The pictures are very misleading because for your orders they literally only give you 5 pieces of shrimp or chicken and when I asked for the fries and coleslaw they said the fries were unlimited but the coleslaw wasn't. As many times I have been here, I forget to review. AB gets a lot of side eyes, but I will tell you this, they have good HH specials and good bar food. I've never experienced bad service. Slow service yes, and I blame that on poor management. You can always come here to watch football or basketball. Bartenders are cool, and makes drinks right the first time. Only flaw is if you order your food online, using places like UberEats , they take forever. It's best to order in person and have it to go. My favorites are their salads, sliders, and wings. I ordered three items for delivery from Applebees: a soft drink, chipotle lime chicken nachos, and chicken wonton tacos. They offered customization for the nachos which is great. I requested no jalapeño and to have the sour cream and guacamole on the side. I took the tacos as they came. It was a little over $50 after tax and tip. Expensive for the meal given it's Applebees. But fine. When I received it, (10 minutes before the window where they said it would arrive), the food was lukewarm at best. This would be understandable had the driver had a long drive to deliver the meal or had multiple orders to deliver ahead of mine. That wasn't the case here. Ton addition, the nachos did not have any queso on them. But there was the jalapeño, guacamole, and sour cream directly on the nachos and the sour cream even stuck to the lid when it was removed. Nothing was on the side. Normally the lack of items on the side wouldn't bother me. But after paying $50+ for a meal of this size, it would have been nice for them to have put the most important cheese on the dish and make even a small attempt to follow any of they customizations (that they offered!) that I requested. The guacamole was pretty gross. The avocado was unnaturally smooth and didn't appear to be made fresh. I removed the guacamole (as much as I could) from the dish and discarded it and scraped the sour cream back onto the nachos. Overall, I went into this meal thinking the food would be tasty and made to order. I didn't expect it to be but extraordinary. The food wasn't bad in flavor. But the fact that the person putting this meal together failed to make it to order, the omission of an important ingredient, the food not being hot when it arrived early, and paying more for the food than I feel it was worth, makes me not want to order from here again. Overall a disappointing experience. You can do better, Applebees! read more

We frequent here on the weekends and the atmosphere is great. Drinks are cheap and the food is good. The ladies who work behind the bar are always friendly. People may not think highly of some chain restaurants but I'm glad we have this one around. read more

This is specific to the automated phone system (known as IVRs) used at Applebees. It was late (after 10PM) and I called the number to find out what time the kitchen closed. I've never encountered a RUDE system till now. After asking for kitchen hours all I got back was store closing hours. OK maybe that's the same BUT I don't want to drive 20 minutes and found out the hard way. I asked again but when I asked to talk to someone then it started getting nasty. "I can't transfer you without knowing what you want to order!", over and over again. The BOZO that programmed that should be fired along with manager that manages and accepted the system. As restautants (especially chains like Applebees) continue to close, if exec's don't get their heads out of the falling revenue reports and wake up to "CUSTOMER SERVICE" there won't be many left. read more

This place is a dump. Came on a Saturday 9:55pm after a long drive from Baltimore Md. the greater no great just sing a song and shouting out to server what table is next. I should not see a full trash can at the front of the restaurant by the way. I get it it's late in the evening my standards are not that high but definitely not this low. Tables need to be cleared and there is enough wait staff to clear them but no pride nor hustle to stay on top of it. Floors are dirty and there is no type of positive energy at all in this place. It is now 15 min and still waiting on two glasses of water we had to flag another waiter as ours has disappeared and did not communicate with his team to pick up his slack. Place the order with him and appetizer arrived 5 min later. Received order at 10:30 but although our new waiver got the job done the interaction was in line with the over all environment of this place. Tired I don't come here often but this will be my last time for sure. If I could give a half star I would. We thought trying a different Applebee's from the one near home would yield better service and atmosphere, but we were wrong. The seat in the booth we were placed was ripped, but this isn't fine dining so whatever, I get it. Apparently no one (like the host) told our server that she was assigned to us, so after waiting 5 minutes, a server asked us whether we had been waited on. My soup was only $1.99 with my main course, which was a great deal for about 8 oz of tomato basil. My Bahama Mama cocktail was also delicious but maybe just because it was super sweet and I couldn't really taste the alcohol. I ordered the Southwest Lime-Grilled Chicken Irresisti-Bowl for my entree, and it was splendid! Fresh, thick pieces of flavorful chicken breast, chimichurri sauce, pico de gallo, tortilla strips, guacamole, and rice. Great value at $7.99 and enough for two meals. The service was just OK, but we still left a 25% tip. We tried to pay with the Pronto tableside kiosk but it malfunctioned. We probably won't rush back to this location any time soon. read more

Service was fast and efficient. Jalisha was our server. She was great. We came in on a Sunday around 3pm. We were seated right away. Not too many people in the restaurant. The reason I can't give more stars is because of the food. I ordered a steak and a potato and it was extremely salty. I know I wasn't at some 5 star gourmet restaurant but the food was almost unbearable and inedible. Everything kind of tasted the same. We also got boneless chicken wings as an appetizer which were cold and tasteless. Maybe it was just the day we came in. I don't remember Applebee's being this poor in food quality. Pro: big parking lot, friendly staff, clean environment, relaxing atmosphere. Con: Cost. Came here on a Thursday at around 4 pm for some dinner and left here mildly content. Upon entering and speaking with the hostess it took a while to find seating because no waiter wanted more people to take care of and idk if they were short staff that day or not. After being seated and looking at the menu I ordered some mozzarella sticks for appetizer and the bacon ranch chicken crispy sandwich that comes with fries for the main course. The mozzarella sticks came out warm, a bit salty , and has that awesome cheese pull. The marinara sauce had a very strong tangy taste that packed a punch. The chicken sandwich tasted like any other chicken sandwich. It was average, nothing special that make it stand out but it definitely wasn't the worth I ever had. The fries was also ok. Also, had a taste of the white peach sangria which tasted fruity and tasted ok. Big parking lot of space is not an issue and the cost of the food is pretty high due to inflation probably. Ever walk into a chain, expecting a chain, then learn your expectations were set too high? That was me tonight! Atmosphere is what you'd expect from an Applebee's, relaxed casual, music jussst loud enough to be fun but not too loud so you can't hear your dining partners. Our waiter was slow, which wouldn't be an issue if they were super busy I'd get it, but I can see open tables all over the place in his section so there goes that excuse. We put our order in all at once after waiting 15 minutes to be even greeted because we didn't know when we would see him again. Now on to the meat and potatoes of the review. The garlic bread that was supposed to come with my food was rosemary instead of garlic. Unexpected and unwanted... the cheese sauce for my mac n cheese was basically water, and the pasta I found overcooked. My Fiancé's steak was disappointing to say the least, undercooked and underseasoned. Our appetizer was also a disaster, it was basically water and artichoke dip. If you're desperate the food is passable, edible, and won't kill you which is more than I can say for some places. But overall, this is a flop, I'd suggest finding someplace else to eat. read more

A visit after the restaurant re-opened during the pandemic. Went here with my parents for dinner. Parking was pretty spacious as not many cars were parked, so that was nice. Walked inside and got seated right away. We sat at a booth that was distant from others. Noticed every other table were closed off. The menu changed a little bit, but noticed most of the items we usually order were still there. Got Boneless Chicken Wings, Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Chicken and Sirloin. The nostalgia! I grew up with family dinners at Applebee's. I revisited today and was not disappointed. I traditionally choose a "pick 2" item with my sister. Today, we went with the premium "pick 2." I had the Mac and cheese with peppercorn chicken tenders, and she had the shrimp and chicken. Spinach and artichoke dip: w/ thin tortilla chips. It was exactly what I expected--nothing more, nothing less. It was adequately cheesy. Mac and cheese: heavy smoky/barbecue flavor, bacon bits, and sweet and crisp honey chicken tenders. The combination was satisfied my sweet tooth. I think I would've liked less barbecue sauce though. Good portion size. read more
