Where do I began..... The front counter help wasn't inviting at all. After ordering we received our food extremely fast, this purpose a problem. In my many years of dealing with this chain across the NC I've never received 20+ wings in 8 mins. One may see this as a time for celebration until you notice your wing sauce looks cold and cold to the touch. After speaking to the front counter help once again about the cold wings, I was informed that they were recently cooked. With that being said not cook for me obviously because they were cold all the way to the bone. I asked could I get them remade fresh I was informed that they close in 30 minutes. As a consumer that doesn't matter too me, I believe in common courtesy within 30 minutes that's plenty of time to complete an order. I received customer service while calling in an order today. I chucked it off by maybe them being busy, and occupied with something else at the time. I came in to pick up my order to deal with the same woman who provided poor service over telephone. Sophie was extremely rude. Blowing and sucking her teeth as she went to grab my order. After I placed my card for payment in her hand, she slid to back to me causing it to fall to the ground and she laughed as I picked it up. Another waiting customer also mentioned it. The packaging for to go orders seriously needs some work. 1. Different wing flavors should be in different boxes so they're not spilling all over each other. Plus they shove so many wings in one box it's basically coming open. 2. My box was put on its side into the bag so as soon as I lifted it all the sauce came out the side. 3. Why ON EARTH are fries and veggies put in open trays like what you would be served when sitting down. No lids, just put in an open cardboard tray and thrown in the bag to spill everywhere. Not impressed at all... decided to give this place a try for super bowl Sunday, since we had never eaten there before. Needless to say, we'll will never order from them again. We ordered last night to avoid the wing rush before the game and they couldn't find our order, even with an email confirmation. Had to wait 20 minutes for the order. They charged .99 cents for a dinky 4 pieces of celery (which are normally complimentary when you order wings). In addition to charging us 3.99 x 2 for blue cheese (again one is normally complimentary and then anything else is extra depending on wing count.) Charging more for more blue cheese is fine, but not when it's 3.99 and you get a single serving of blue cheese, not a cup like their website offers. Total rip off! And to top it off, after all is said and done, the wings were just okay. read more

We ordered a large delivery online - $59.10. We specified all drumsticks and got 80% flats; contacted them with no positive results. They were all so small, they might have been wings from Cornish hens instead of chickens. The 4 seasonings we chose were barely discernible. Huge disappointment after having gotten excellent wings from the Wingstop in Atlanta. This was our first and last order in Durham. read more

We were told that this was THE place for wings. The wings are really good. Great variety. We got the Original, Louisiana Rub and the Hawaiian. Can't complain about the wings - it's the rest of the restaurant that is bad. The fries are soggy. Our order was incorrect. (We heard SEVERAL orders that were incorrect, according to other customers, as we sat eating.). The ketchup was rancid and the container it was in looked like it hadn't been cleaned in several days. Several stalks of the celery we ordered were covered in brown spots and going bad. So if you come here, only order wings and take them home. This is my go to place for quick wings when I don't want to think. Are they amazing? No. But I typically get what I ask for and don't have to wonder if they will cook them how I want (extra well done) and they will be tasty. My only complaint is that sometimes the wings aren't evenly covered in the seasonings. I typically order the dry rubs so they seem to just drop then in the to go box straight out the fryer which sometimes leads to holes in the bottom of the styrofoam and grease leaking everywhere -___-. Then after they just sprinkle the seasoning on the top so if there are overlapping wings all of them don't get seasoned and you have to toss them in the residual grease and seasoning on the bottom to get any flavor. I just realized that I previously reviewed Wingstop's closed location even though I went to this 7104 address, well technically I went to both. Here is my review for this new location: "This was my first time having WingStop. Yet again another place that I've never heard about before coming to the South. This location used to be by the Krogers but has moved 1.8miles away. We actually went to the old location only to play scavenger hunt and used our navi to guide us to its new spot. This place definitely made me work to get these wings! There is plenty of parking for now. They are in a new commercial development and looks like they are the first business to lease. This makes getting in and out less busy. I ordered the mango habanero spicy (wet) wings and the lemon pepper (dry) and cheese fries. The staff handed delivered our meals to us both but when we got home we realized they not on only swapped our orders, but added cheese on my friends fries too. She was not prepared for the spicy and I lost a spicy wing! Overall, good place. I'll return especially during football season. Just wish there were more locations throughout the city." read more

Wings here are ok, but I can think of two or three places where I prefer their wings over Wingstop. I ordered 10 wings, 5 of the garlic parmesan and 5 of the teriyaki. The wings were a little on the small side, and the teriyaki wings were way over-sauced. I think there was more sauce than there was wings. 10 wings+ fries+drink was ~ $12.50 so not really economical either, at least for fast food. The best thing I can say is the wings came out really quick after I ordered them and the food was hot. read more

This is a place I visit a lot because I love the wings. The problem I have is with an older gentleman that lacks professionalism and it's the second occurrence. The first time I overlooked it, however this time he was apparently upset because someone was late for work and the words he used standing at the register were completely distasteful, disrespectful (cursing) and certainly uninviting. I ordered the 50 wing family pack wings. The wings and ranch dressing was not appropriately pack. It spilled in the brown bag they packed it in. The bag broke at the bottom and everything spilled in car, on my dress and on ground. (Graduation party food). Manager Cliff replaced with blame on me. :-( read more

The wings are delicious...there's no question on that. This review is more for the service. Came in to place an order but wanted to read the menu first, not sure if the guy at the register took offense to this or not but he kept making rude comments through out the whole ordering process. We had never been here before so we thought we would come for a quick dinner. We had the Hawaiian sauce, the Louisiana rub and the original sauce on the wings. They were all quite tasty. I had asked for celery and they gave me carrots so I had to switch that out. When the celery came to the table it was covered with black spots. I had also asked for extra sauce with my order which they also forgot. I had to ask for that. This is a fast food counter service wing place. If you like crispy wings make sure you ask them. If you do not ask then the wings come with a soft skin. The food was pretty good but I was not impressed. I think I will stick to Matty B's which is just around the corner. read more

I tried to call in my order and they hung up on me two times. I'm thinking they was busy but when I arrived to the store one employee was sitting on the bench by the door on his cell phone and it was slow. He was on the clock because he got up to answer the phone. My wings were okay but I ordered the baked beans and they were mushy and just seemed like they had been kept for days. It used to taste pretty good. The lemon pepper wings are excellent and the fries are very tasty. They put a little sugar on the fries so the taste is real good. Can't recall when it starts but all of a sudden, every thing begins to tastes so extremely salty, the wings and the fries. Maybe they change the chef? Really pretty. If the owner can see this review, I sincerely hope that please, put less salt, put a lot less salt! Make it taste as excellent as it use to be. read more

First let me say, when you are ordering online the establishment priority should be 100% satisfaction food going out the kitchen, out the door and to the customer. It shouldn't matter what time it was ordered. If it was ordered 15 mins before the last deliver time, 100% satisfaction......NOT. I ordered two 10 pc fries and drink with additional 5pc chicken for my kids. One order was missing 5 wings and the other missing 3 wings and the drink. Either cooks wasn't focused or the food was repackaged in the car. I think that camera's need to be in the car and don't allow the drivers to have extra bags and stickers in the car. I'm just saying. another suggestion,,, seal the containers before bagging the food and staple the bag. Unfortunately the establishment is closed so I can't get a reimbursement, the chicken, or the drink.. The customers are the ones keeping your restaurant opened how dare you take advantage of my money and time. Now I have to spend my time and gas to go into the restaurant. Cleanliness! The cooks did not have gloves on and was touching their body parts and phone while fixing meals.

The ranch was good but our chicken was way over done. Since it took about 5mins to get it out, I know they didn't make it fresh. I worked at wingstop several yrs ago and it takes 16mins to cook. I asked for my money back and the manager said to bring the chicken in. We went ahead and ate the fries(even though they were soggy)and ranch so I don't want to bother going back since I live in Carrboro. I'm just disappointed bc I used to go to wingstop all the time. I haven't gone since we moved from Arkansas bc yelp reviews were bad. *sigh* Plus I'm out the money from going to Arbys for food since kids can't eat just fries and our kitchen is inoperable right now. I just don't know why people can't be considerate of others and give them food that won't make them sick. Are they going to miss work and take care of people in my house bc they are throwing up?
