The service was awesome. Our server Allison was great, friendly & timely. With that being said, the food was terrible! The Appetizer chips & dip was not good. The guacamole tasted like 10 limes were squeezed in it. The salsa seemed like it had marinara at the bottom w/ Pico de Gallo on top & the queso cheese was watery runny. Then the wings...they were soggy & drenched with a large amount of sauce. Not your traditional wings at all. $65 (w/ tip) later for lunch, we are left terribly disappointed.

I'll be honest, Buffalo Wild Wings is never my go to spot even though it's the closest restaurant to my house around Southpoint Mall. The food is average. The service is pretty inconsistent but not terrible. The floors were particularly sticky leading back to the bar. I only go when someone else makes the choice.

Reheated old disgusting - don't do it to yourself. Fries taste like old moving boxes.

I probably wouldn't go back! I loved the service here. Our server was so nice to me. I really liked her. However, I felt like the restaurant was kind of understaffed. Everyone was really busy and things moved kind of slowly. Ambiance is fun! I liked the playlists of music in particular. However, I didn't really like the food that much. Some of the sauces were kind of gross to me. The lemon pepper tasted really fake. Everything was sooo salty. This was probably one of the saltiest restaurants I've ever been to. And all the BBQ flavors are indistinguishable from each other. I'd love to taste more fresh flavors. Also, the boneless wings seem like they are just frozen chicken tenders that I could buy at the grocery store.

On the way back to Winston Salem from the PNC Arena after watching a hockey game we decided to stop and eat here. We looked on Yelp and saw that it was conveniently off the I-40 and was open. We walked in and saw o. The door that they would be closing at 10:00pm, it was 9:26. The person I assumed was the hostess walked up and asked how many....5....and if it was take out or dine in. Once we said dine in she said, oh I'm sorry but we are closing in a few minutes. We left with no meal and upset at how a restaurant would turn customers away 35 minutes before closing. If you close at 10, then serve food till then, if not then close earlier and lock the doors. Thank God I don't live around here!

Takes like 2 hours to get your food. The wait staff does not give you napkin's refill water. People smoke cigarettes outside.

The wings were literally dry as a bone. Totally overcooked. Very disappointing. The only good thing was the sauce. Save your money!

We were greeted upon entry and stood there looking in awe of their large and diverse beer selection. The bartender was knowledgeable and helpful when I (as always) asked a lot of questions about the beer. My husband chose an IPA and I chose a flight. We went outside to grab a table since we were meeting friends and there was very little seating inside it was nice out AND I think there was a birthday party going on.) None of us had eaten yet so we all decided to order different things and share. The brats, pretzels, and sidewinders were pretty good. The photos looked great and they came out tasting decent. The wings were excellent but the flatbread was awful. It was like tomato paste on a cracker. Our server was very attentive and even helped us move our stuff inside when it started to rain. My husband decided to have a couple more IPAs while we sat and talked. My friend and I got up to look at the merchandise and the open stock for sale. I liked the vibe so much that I bought a koozie featuring The Casual Pint. I was also thrilled to find a Salty Turtle beer that I very much enjoy but usually only get at the beach. At this point I would have rated it a 4 but then we got our bill. Even though neither one of us paid any attention to the prices on the beer, it was a little surprising that my husband's IPAs were $10 each. And my flight was $17 (4, 4oz pours). Add the 4 pack and food, our total was over $110 before tip. We should have paid more attention but since my husband felt that it was all highly overpriced AND he had ordered the flatbread that was unappetizing, he doesn't want to return. I wouldn't mind coming back though!

Today I had baked tilapia stuffed with crab + mashed potatoes and broccoli with the crab sauce and it was probably my favorite meal out of everything I've tried there before (their steak, surf&turf and fries are also always amazing). I also got a half slice of strawberry shortcake to go and can't wait to enjoy it later - it looked fresh and delicious:) I've had their chocolate cake before and both times it was excellent. Their drinks also consistently deliver - we've tried both their cocktails and wine. Their wines are always reasonably priced and I've enjoyed them more than in some "fancier" spots in Durham. Love this spot and will be back many more times.

Not that great and the fries were more fried than potato. Maybe 2/5. I got a greek salad with chicken and it was oddly sweet? Like really sweet and the feta is a strange texture (i love feta this one tastes different almost like the vegan cheeses). Also, $24 for a greek salad with chicken...? Little too much. Chicken was good but not a great salad. Service was super quick, in and out in less than an hour and we take our time eating. Overall, wouldn't come back for food but would totally come back for the cake!!

But learn to love Doyles and it will become your second living room and the perfect place to play some bar games and drink. If you want pool, darts, ping pong, shuffleboard, fooseball, pinball they have it all. Depending on who is bartending (if its Chris you are in for a treat) there are often movies they picked out playing on the TV at the bar that you can chill and watch. Sometimes there are even video game systems available to play. What more could you want? Oh yeah drinks. Affordable drink special every night, though unfortunately that is somtimes domestics like coor lights. Fortunately their bottle selection is solid (highland gaelic, sierra nevada/torpedo being my favorite options) and they are always affordable at like 3 bucks a pop. If you want go stronger, their bartenders pretty much universally pour a drink that packs a punch. You won't be disappointed. Doyles is the place where you can go, get a buzz going and just relax and be yourself. There is no pretension here. They have a crowd of regulars who know each other but don't let that scare you. The bartenders are friendly and will make you feel right at home. Some problems I'll acknowledge are their drafts have been broken for a while and even while they were running they often had issues. Also If you want music you have to put money in the juke box which can get pricey if you come as often as we do. But overall, for a friendly dive bar they do it the way it should be done and I've seen many people I've brought get over their skepticism and fall for its charms. It should fairly be a 4-star, but I'll admit I am biased with my local watering hole and I can't not give it a 5.
