Honestly just horrible service, I understand waiting at the entrance but to be seated and then ignored while the same waitress ignores me and my company. Very disappointed in the customer service of this Wingstop location. I looked up this caption on google attempted to call 3 times and it was busy for 30 minutes straight so I decided to just order to go as a walk-in. After I placed my order at around 8:05 I sat down at the restaurant and waited for my order. At around 8:26 I knew a couple wings wouldn't take that long to prepare. As I walked up the the counter, one of the workers told be that my order wouldn't be ready until 8:45, something the original worker failed to mention. So I finally received my order at approximately 8:39. Almost a 40 minute wait. Not only did the manager not suffice my negative experience, she was the one who took my order and forgot to mention the long wait. I ordered to go from the Lemmon location. When I got them home, there was very little seasoning and they were very tough from being overcooked, or they sat under a heat lamp too long. Called in and they said it'd be ready in 18 minutes. Not sure how they come up with these times. I've heard mostly 14 minutes, 15 even. Best is to call in to avoid waiting there. I got a 20 piece, bone-in. I split between Lemon Pepper and Cajun. The Lemon Pepper seasoning was nicely done. Usually, it really lacks at other locations or it's way too much that it's salty. It was just right here. The Cajun was good. Not too hot, not too mild. Also got a large order of fries (well-done) for an extra crisp. They were still a bit soggy. I mean I did have to drive home still and probably got a little soggy, but they were all flimsy. Still delicious. Also, I really like their ranch. Not too much to say here. These are my favorite wings in DFW by far. I live a bit closer to a Buffalo WW but they just aren't as good. Here the flavors have more pop and the fries with their special fry seasoning are just crazy good. Even their ranch has just the right amount of dill. These little things just make it stick out above the rest of the chains. I always get mine to go so I can't speak to interior of the restaurant but the food has always been ready within the 20 minutes they promise and the wings have always been hot... And spicy :). Really can't ask for much more! Oh and be sure to ask for extra seasoning on the fries! I really wasn't expecting much given the negative reviews, so I was pleasantly surprised with my order/experience the other day! I had been craving wings for days and finally gave in around 9:30pm on a Wednesday night. I used the Wingstop website to order 10 wings featuring lemon pepper (friend's recommendation) and Louisiana rub (someone on Yelp raved about this) and french fries. They charge you extra for a side of ranch, which I think is a little ridiculous (shouldn't first dipping sauce be free?) I showed up 10pm (when the email said it would be ready) and it was indeed ready (and hot!) I did have to wait a bit while the cashier finished up her phone call, but it wasn't long at all. I drove home and dug in. Maybe it was because I'd been eating spinach and quinoa salads all week, but goddamn was it good. I couldn't stop and ate 7 wings and a lot of fries and realized I was uncomfortably full, but happy. I just reheated the remaining 3 wings and fries now (Saturday) in the oven and while they didn't reheat amazingly (not their fault), they was fine. I probably should have googled the best way to reheat these foods... Moral of the story: I felt like $14.36 was a lot for 10 wings, fries and ranch, but they were good, and knowing now that I can easily split them between 2 meals makes them even better. Wing stop in dallas, where do I begin. First of all... the wait for the food was getting to be around 30 minutes. I get that there isn't many people on the staff working at one time but still, the heavy traffic of people coming in and out should be expected. Finally the food comes out, the rings were I would say a 6.5/10 very mediocre at best but hey what do you expect. Out came the fries and boy will I tell ya, those fries hit the spot! 9/10 very good, very crunchy. Also, they have a very nice fountain drink dispenser which was very useful. Two of them have there backs turned to their workstations in the kitchen and are chatting while the other one is at the register but not working the register but instead taking telephone orders. 6 minutes later the one at the counter but not working the register is still on the phone and no one else is working. Ended up picking up food very late. If only one person is on the register they have no business also taking all the phone orders holding everyone and all the food coming out up. Now, I find myself getting a craving for going carnivore and ripping apart some bird. This location is nestled in the corner of a no-name strip mall. There is a small dining area but their bread and butter is take-out. They have 9 flavors of sauce. For a change of pace, get the boneless. Essentially it's just a chicken strip but you can also get the sauce on the side for dipping. My fave sauces are Cajun and Original. Don't bother with the mild sauce. Growing up in DFW has accustomed me to Wingstop's all over. This one is no different. Same concept, same good product. The Original Hot is my favorite, with a close second going to the Cajun. The fries are what make this place stand out- ask for them crispy and get a ranch or two. Combining sugar with salt and crispiness, dunk it into the ranch dressing and you have a party in your mouth. I could go there for the fries alone! Note to folks out there- I don;t know if it's just this location or others but they have their boneless wings for .50 cents Monday and Tuesday. I had their lemon pepper and their hot wings. They both exploded with deliciousness. Unlike BW3's, Wing Stop's wings are much smaller (less meaty) and their skin is a lot crispier. The sauce isn't overwhelming like other wing shops. The combination of dipping their wings into their home made ranch dressing makes it even tastier. Dont forget to order their french fries. I pretty sure they add sugar to the mix. The combination of sweet and salty goes well. Overall, its not the most healthiest meal that you can order but it defiantly hits the spot. I recommend ordering online everytime whether you plan to eat inside or take it to-go. Otherwise prepare for a 20 minute wait, but at least it's made to order! This wingstop is not the closest one to my house but I'd rather drive a little further out for better customer service and quality. It's a little harder to navigate in/out of as it's in the corner of a little strip area with a salon and some other place next to it -- if you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't see it! They're a little pricey for dinner but you get what you pay for, I haven't had a bad wingstop experience (food quality wise) and I'd rather pay a little more here and know what I'm getting rather than be cheap and end up paying for it the next morning. Ugh...bad chicken and grease...not a good mixture in the tummy! This night I was feeling feisty and decided to try the Mango Habanero flavor in addition to our oldie but goody Lemon Pepper & Garlic Parmesan flavors....so, even though the flavor is Mango HABANERO, I didn't realize this flavor was going to be so HOT. Since they started 2 for $20 meals, we've been visiting more often, about once a month, more or less. Service goes from decent to pretty shitty, depending on the shift. Employees are hourly, so they get into that weird mindset that even tho you're still paying for their service, they feel like they don't need to be that nice to you. Food quality is ok, wings are a bit dry and the dip sides are usually way too small for a meal and at 75¢ a tiny dip, you end up paying an extra $5 per meal. One of my pet peeves is that they don't have regular napkins, you've to pull on a huge roll that god knows who's touched before you. Restaurant itself is pretty clean, plays ok music, things that make a great difference when you've to wait up to 20 minutes for fried food. Need to work on service, speed and portions to make it the better wing place (Buffalo Wild Wings is around the same price and MUCH better service only a couple of blocks away). read more
