For avid sports fans used to sports bars like BWW, Wingstop is a safe alternative that offers the satisfaction of WINGS and a large screen TV, but lacks in its seating, flavors, and variety. I got the 8 wings combo + 1 dip (honey mustard all the way fosho!) + fries + soft drink for 10 bucks, which is honestly a great deal. Comparing to BWW (a comparison that I must make, unfortunately), however, Wingstop is definitely the loser. They have a few options for each level of "spicy", from the sadistic ATOMIC flavor to the more gentle lemon, you can take your pick. From my experience of getting the Cajun spice and Lemon, I learned that Wingstop is extremely generous with their sauces. If you like your wings dripping in sauce and feeling like you can have a satisfying drink from the amount of sauce that comes with the wings, then you are in luck. I am not one of those guys, and honestly, eating the cajun wings was a bit too much. I think it would have been less obvious if the Cajun wings were less spicy/had more flavors that's actually cajun. I highly recommend those with more sensitive taste buds to avoid spicy wings. You will likely not enjoy them, not because they are THAT spicy, but because they don't taste that great. The spicy sauce was so overwhelming that I felt like somebody was shoving a tank full of sirracha and sodium down my throat. Although i survived, I was so dehydrated that I chugged 2 glasses of water immediately after. The lemon wings were much more acceptable, with actual flavors! If I ever come back, I will try the wings that have zero spiciness added so I can actually taste something that's not "pain". So the meal is not all bad, don't get me wrong. I LOVED their fries. They are nothing special, but provided much needed palate cleansing with each bite of your sauce-y wings. Their cool futuristic soft drink machine has a strong arsenal of choices, so even those rare "cherry coke" drinkers will be pleased. Environment: Wingstop is not huge. Finding seating here on a busy Sunday morning would be difficult, especially if there's a football game on. The problem is that there are only 2 TVs in the restaurants. They are large TVs, but because the place is not that big, you will feel like your neck will break after staring at the TVs for more than 5 min. It is a very familiar sensation for anyone who's had the fortune of sitting in the very front of the movie theatre watching an action movie. If you like being around a crowd, perhaps it would be more enjoyable. Overall, Wingstop isn't a bad wing joint. The wings I had were too saucy and too spicy for what they were. I am an adament believer that SPICY food can taste good. Spicy should not overwhelm the flavor of the wings so much that the wings taste bad. Unfortunately, that's what happened here. I would like to return and try out their less spicy meals. Their combo meals are well priced in my opinion, and the large TVs do satisfy those seeking a "sports bar" type of venue. read more

Usually, I get the 8 wings, fries, and a drink for $9 something but this last time, the 6 wings special was for $9 something and the 8 was $11 or $12. The food is good and the cooks do a great job. However, the girl at the register greets you with an angry face and her manners aren't any better. She seemed to be rushing me thru my order and sighed every time I asked a question. If she's unhappy with her job it clearly shows. So mad we were craving wings and I gave this store another try only to be hugely disappointed!!! The girl that I walked up to pay (I put my order in online) was rude and I think maybe said one word. The girl next to her had hickey's all over her neck and was just as rude!! I called in to place a Togo order and the employee asked me how close I live because someone just cancelled their order and they would just give me their wings. WingStop's whole concept is that the wings are made to order. I pulled up, stepped in a HUGE pile of vomit. There were a handful of employees just standing around not doing anything, when 1 of them could've been out there washing off the HUGE PILE OF VOMIT from their front parking spots. What you'd expect from franchise. Didn't find the wings that great for pricing. You could find lots of other wing places that would delivery the same without spending $20. Over priced for what you get. Fries may be great for some, but for me I don't enjoy sweet tasting fries. Asked for them well done, but they were also dry as the desert. I only like dry rub wings so the Louisiana rub has always been my go to until they came out with the Brazilian citrus wings. YUM. The quality of the food is not the issue with the low rating. The fact that they would not honor a coupon was a big point of contention. The wings rarely disappoint, and were very good on this occassion, but the cashier refused to honor one of their coupons for 5 free boneless wings. Yesterday I saw some people eating wings from the Wingstop and I haven't been able to stop thinking about wings since SO today I made a "wingstop" myself. They were tasty and I really liked the order online feature. I ordered and then made my way over to their location, the food was ready just as I was walking in the door (seems much quicker than a standard BW3s). Prices were reasonable for all the food you get. This location is even the worse during a pandemic! My order taking a lot longer than the estimated time for delivery. When I called for status, the employees had no idea what carrier service the company used when placing an order on the Wingstop site. He said that my order was there. I was mind blown that they were directing me to call different companies to figure it out! I was placed on hold for numerous times, heard their dishonesty, and disrespect. When they came back on the line, they said that my order was gone. I asked whom picked it up and when? The employee was then irritated and began with saying, "I'll remake it for you if you didn't get it". I insisted to know when my order picked up when it was just there a second ago. He then proceeded to say " I don't have to do s___t and hung up on me. 20 minutes later, I received a doordash notification that the driver was on his way to wingstop. I called and the driver said he hadn't picked it up. Clearly the employee was dishonest and rude. I ordered recently from this location (Lemmon Ave) off door dash and did not receive my entire order. The bad was sealed shut from the restaurant putting their own tape label on it to make sure the door dasher doesn't open it without my knowledge. I opened my order and saw everything in there but the 1 item I was looking forward to the most. I've ordered the exact same thing two other times and each time my item came in it's own separate container like the rest of my items. Not this time. Richardo the manager for closing hours told me via phone "my cook says he put them in there I'm not calling you a lair but he said he put them in there and your saying you don't have them you can come pick up some more." I told him could I receive a credit as it's late hours and it's not a time I go out especially during quarantine lockdown. He showed no empathy or emotion and told me his manager would call me tomorrow and that there was no way I could receive a credit for my item. I never really had tried Wingstop before until this month but after this I refuse to order from this location again. I hope the manager can at least try to work something out the customer the next time this arises. Don't be rude. Food though is decent. read more

This has been by far the worst experience I have received as a repeat customer. My boyfriend and i have ordered from wing stop the past few nights. The first night we ordered we loved the Korean flavor, the second night we ordered the same flavor of wings along with another order of mango habanero wings. The wings tasted different not better WORSE! They were defiantly cooked in a different sauce. We tried to offer corrective criticism to manager Maria our intentions were honest and very respectful. After the complaint was made to Maria she informed us that she would have the Owner Mack contact us in response to our complaint. Keep in mind weren't looking for a refund our intentions were ONLY for constructive criticism. About 10 minutes later we received a follow up phone call from Maria telling us the Owner Mack wants us to bring our meal back into the restaurant, we were both pretty caught off guard by the response simply because our complaint wasn't based on the presentation of the meal but the taste was off and not the same. At this point we were done with hearing Maria's excuses on why WE as customers were wrong so we asked for the owners name so we could officially write a review she told us she couldn't release that information...Interesting considering he's the "OWNER" of Wing Stop as the "Owner" you should be proud of your company no matter good or bad reviews plus she gave us his name earlier. One more thing your Management teams isn't strong and clearly can't deal with complaints putting us on hold multiple times simply for the aspect that were dissatisfied customers. I have visited this wing stop location a few times, to approach my final stop. And a terrible review for the OWNER. I ordered take-out from them two nights in a row. 1st night: food was great, nothing to complain about. 2nd night: food tasted completely different. We ordered the SAME wings, yet the taste was very off. Not a good taste. I called to offer the manager corrective criticism which any business in America should appreciate. A customer going out of his way to inform management of an issue. I had no intentions of a full refund immediately, or even to leave bad feedback... however the OWNER (Mac), as I was told his name by (Maria) the manager, then informed she could not tell me his name it was confidential. Lol right. Anyway. Mac is all I got. THE OWNER, told the manager that he wasn't willing to do anything for us as customers bc we had already eaten the food... He was not willing to communicate with me and hear out his customer. Which shows how weak he is as an owner, pushing issues off to management, as he realizes how poor his customer service and responses are. Terrible. I was 100% offended by this OWNERS lack of character, lack of care for his business and customers, or even the lack of care for corrective criticism that was offered to his business. How much could you not care? Don't eat here, eat at Buffalo Wild Wings right down Lemmon. Much better customer service and atmosphere. Wings may be similar but don't give this place your hard earned money, the owner doesn't deserve it. I used to go to this Wing Stop when I lived in the area. First of all, it is not cheap. So know that first because wings can be a food you think of when you want to be cheap, but this is not that kind of place. But as long as you recognize that, it's all good because the wings are delicious! The mango habanero are my favorite, but they really are spicy so you gotta be into that. I also enjoyed the Parmesan wings alot. They had a special on Tuesdays for 60 cents wings, but I don't know if that's a usual thing or not. And last but not least, THE FRIES! OH the joy I receive from the fries. There is some delicious sweetness on these fries that make them irresistible. Literally my stomach will hurt when I'm done because I couldn't stop. The only reason I ever tried this place was because someone recommended the fries to me, and I am SO GLAD they did! I'm all about a good buffalo sauce that consistently agrees with me later on....if you know what I mean. The formula for the "original hot" is the best I've ever had. I always get the boneless wings, which is a lot more meat and basically a big chicken nugget...all white non-processed meat. I'm not a big potato salad fan, but here it is great....so I'd get it rather than the french fries. I've heard the fries are good here too, but i wouldn't be a good judge of that. I've had the gliders too, which are basically a flat chicken patty on a fresh yeast roll with pickle slices....yummy! They are always playing dance/good music on the radio here and a sports game muted on the TVs, which makes is a great environment. They tell you at the counter exactly how long your order will take....which there's a lot to be said that. I like the counter service too, as I'm not a big tipper and this makes it much easier. For those trying to lose a few pounds....I'd give this place a try, even if it's fried boneless wings and chicken fingers. Do the ORIGINAL HOT sauce regardless of what you get. I swear there's something in the formula that help burn off calories without much effort. Maybe it's my imagination....but I ate here almost every day for a month and lost 5 pounds without the gym or anything else. They may not have your "big" game on a jumbo TV like Buffalo Wild Wings would have, but the quality of their food is far superior. This is a cheap and easy way to provide a better customer experience - no one wants to put their belongings on a nasty bathroom floor.
