Waited for my food 30 minutes after the app said my food would be ready. When I asked to speak to a manager I was compared to uber and door dashers, when I used the smash burger app. Asked for a refund and the manager claimed he couldn't give me one. The manager was very defensive, when all of this information came from smash burgers app. He tried explaining about one cook and doing tickets as they come. Again as a customer non of this was my business and something corporate should know. I still had to wait 26 minutes after my food was scheduled to be picked up and ready and the manager was horrible at helping or being knowledgeable of his store app and procedures. The burger was really really really good. The cheese was real, the green chiles had the perfect amount of kick. The burger tasted delicious, you could tell it was made to order just off the grill. Wonderful combination of flavors. The restaurant was clean, and i loved the decor, lighting, and ambiance of the restaurant. The mural is awesome if downtown Dallas. When I give a review, I compare a restaurant to a "like restaurant". Smashburger compared to other "like restaurants" was sub-par to other restaurants like it. My issue was mostly price for what you get in volume and quality. When you compare Smashburger to Jack in the Box, Whataburger, Sonic, Wendy's, and Burger King, you'll pay almost twice as much for the same amount of food at Smashburger vs. the others. It just isn't worth the price for what you get. read more

I'm addicted to brussel sprouts there - quick grill option you can get an order to share - large portion. Staff were attentive, nice and friendly. We found lunch time slow over weekend - hoping it stays open as one of the near downtown options for an affordable lunch with plenty of choices for entire family. We visit this location when downtown Dallas or going to the DMA - but today Janna Paige and her TEAM made our day! Wonderful attention, help in ordering, along with 'just feeling the love' this group shares made our day. A great lunch with our burgers, fries, sweet potato fries and of course, my fav brussel sprouts. We'd brought our brother in law there and he at 74 stated 'wow, where do you find brussel sprouts at a burger spot'. SMASH we said. We love them and so glad permanently on the menu. Today, Ms. Janna offered to share Truffle Mayo sample and we absolutely loved it on everything. We hope they add this to menu staples also. Smashburger is a burger chain that upsells itself to be higher end but in the end still is fast food. We had the double bacon smash burger, which was delicious and decadent, but I'm not sure if the relatively hefty price tag (~$10) makes it worth it. Otherwise, the beef is definitely juicy, lettuce/tomatoes fresh, and toasted bun delicious. It can be hard to find surface parking immediately outside of the storefront, but thankfully there is an underground garage and they will validate your parking. Inside the restaurant, there is plenty of seating - there is an entire upper balcony so plenty of space to go around. All in all, I'm not sure I'd visit again, but it was sure a tasty burger. read more

Horrible service. It literally took us 40 min to get out to go order. It was just us and one other guy waiting for the same time as us there. It was not busy at all.
