This was the second occasion of my being invited by someone who was celebrating their birthday there. I'm not a big fan of chicken wings so I also don't consider myself a connoisseur. On this visit there were nine of us celebrating the birthday boy's 65th. I figured I was entitled to seven wings from the six different flavors that were ordered. I was satisfied after tasting just one from each flavor. All the wings were very crispy and the flats were a bit moister than the drums. In fact, my least favorite was a parmesan garlic drumstick. It came with no sauce, so it seemed extra dry. Treating the wings as my appetizer, I ordered The Heater from their Specialty Sandwiches and substituted sweet potato fries for regular fries. Served in a toasted hoagie were shaved Italian steak, sauteed peppers, onions, jalapeños, queso cheese, and melted pepper jack. My first thought was that the hoagie was going to be too massive and too much bread. But to my surprise, the bread was so fresh and soft that it easily compressed around the filling allowing the filling to be the star of each bite. The steak was tender and flavorful, there was not too much spiciness from the various peppers, and there was plenty of moisture. The sandwich was served while still very hot as were the sweet potato fries. Wings and sandwich, all went well with my pint of Guinness. They do not take reservations and will not seat your party until all members of your party are present. They will add you to the waiting list before all of your party is present. Once we were added to the waitlist it was thirty minutes before the rest of our party arrived due to traffic delays. It was then another thirty minutes before we were seated. This was a Tuesday starting about 5:30 p.m. I'd suggest aiming for a weekday after lunch if you have more than four people in a birthday celebration. Staff are well experienced with these situations and are friendly and helpful.

I've been to one of their many locations in Boston and it has always been amazing. It's not a fancy establishment, but very clean and there are but a few tables. It's no concern though because they're made to order fried chicken as well as custom bowls will blow you away! The staff here will guide you through their menu of sauces and options if you are stumped... They're made to order fried chicken in every imaginable flavor, whether next level spicy, or somewhere in between with hints of sweetness will have you hooked! If you crave fried chicken in every flavor possible, your taste buds will thank you. Additionally who can resist sides such as fried cheese sticks, onion rings, steamed rice and the list goes on! You can order ahead online or simply pop in. I guarantee that it will be worth the wait. And besides they are located in a small shopping center if you really can't be tied down for 15-20 minutes... I highly recommend and I will be here regularly whenever I have a hankering for delicious Korean fried chicken. Totally worth it and check out their website ahead of time! Sure, some may think that they are paying a bit more for what comes across as fast food but trust me tis worth every penny. If you crave delicious fried chicken that meets your every expectation, you will gladly make this purchase. This chicken is moist, crisp and flavorful and beyond. You will never look back on any other place where you've ordered chicken to go as you will be back again and again. After devouring four juicy, flavorful wings that I dipped into their excellent very chunky homemade blue cheese dressing, I understand the hype. Does the breading enhance the flavor and make the sauce coat the wings better? I believe so. The wings both drum and flat were meaty. Extra parm was at the bottom of the serving dish and could be spooned onto wings. She also served Bourbon BBQ, Thai Chile, Korean, and PB and Jelly Breaded Wings. The Korean and Thai were delicious. The Bourbon and PB & J were too sweet for my taste, but they were enjoyed by others. Boneless Wings were typical fare. Wow! Breaded Wings are minimum of Five Stars! Delicious! I did not like the COB (cheese in bottom) Pizza. The crust and COB were good, but the thick top layer of slightly sweet not savory red sauce was unappealing to me. The other pizza from Red Front was a rectangular thin crusted cheese pizza that was okay but a little dried out. Family including kids preferred the round cheese pizza from Pizza Works that was available along with their Mac & Cheese Pizza. Highly recommend the breaded wings and the outstanding Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce.

There's some buzz around their upside-down/COB-style pizza, and on paper, it should hit. But execution? That's where things fall apart. Crust comes out too thick and bready, lacking that crisp bite you expect. It feels more like filler than foundation. When you pick up a slice, it just doesn't have that structure or snap. Now the big issue the sauce. You guys know I'm a sauce snob. It leans heavy, overly sweet, and kind of flat. Instead of elevating the slice, it overwhelms it. You don't get that balanced, tangy tomato flavor just a one-note layer that sits on top of everything. Cheese and overall bake? Inconsistent. Some areas overcooked, others just sitting there. It doesn't come together as one cohesive slice. Even looking at Yelp (around that 3.3 range), it lines up this is a spot people want to like, but the consistency and quality just aren't there.

I find this place to be the pinnacle of a successful local pizzeria. The ambiance is also good. Their restaurant section however could use some cleaning on the floor and the food did take a little bit long to arrive, however with their vast menu and busy days I would like to give them another try at the sit-down experience. I am looking for a location that sells a good variety of slices, has sit-down tables which you actually want to sit in (no rocking tables and dirty floors for me), and has friendly staff. We recently came here again while in the area and I rediscovered it. It is definitely the best... bar none. They expanded next door into a location previously used by H&R Block, and the increased dining space is wonderful. The variety of slices they had at lunch is staggering, and not just the usual suspects either. They had eggplant lasagna pizza; chicken Fra Diavolo pizza with hot peppers (yum!); mac & cheese pizza with or without Buffalo chicken; salad pizza; etc. All looked good, and my Fra Diavolo pizza has become my favorite here. Of note: their Hawaiian pizza is a white pizza (no sauce), which is extremely unusual, but they provided a cup of sauce on the side which restored balance to the galaxy. I should point out that every Italian restaurant has their own style of red sauce: some are too acidic, some are too salty, some are too heavy with dried herbs, and some don't use enough. This place has a sauce which is similar to my Grandmas (the best!), and it is salty and acidic and oily and delicious. I could see myself parking in a chair one afternoon with a good book and slowly trying slice after slice. Since we live only about 20 minutes away, I think I will need to make the trek up to here more often.

We had a small private room upstairs in this historic building with original wide wood floor boards and staircases. I ordered the Craic --grilled roast beef, sautéed onions, provolone cheese, horseradish mayonnaise on a baguette($18.00) which was served au jus. The beef was tender and the baguette was fresh. It was large so I ate have and took half home. Delicious! I also had the French Onion Soup (along with three others.) Sadly, it was spoiled for me by a completely soft/soggy bread slice (mush) below the cheese top. I quietly removed it from my bowl. However, the broth was flavorful. I remember it being excellent. Reason for 4 stars instead of five. My grandson enjoyed the Shepherd's Pie. Since he is a growing lad, he also had the well made fries. The three salads ordered were excellent. One salad had salmon, one had Buffalo Chicken, and one had beets and goat cheese. Generous amounts of protein were served. The children enjoyed the toasted cheese sandwich, Mac and cheese, and waffle fries. The Wings were good. The extensive menu is easy to read with a variety of exciting food choices available. Always something new to try!
