My first experience with Paulie's was at the Rosa Rd location. It was only by chance that we came upon Paulie's in Clifton Park since alas, this establishment replaced an old fav, Cusato's. Now we may accept Paulie's as our new pizza parlor. The crust is obviously something to return for. Today we tried the a Supreme pizza. Pizzas are abundantly topped with toppings never making you guess what it was you ordered. If they include more diet beverages, maybe we could go up a notch. Your only choice is diet mist and diet pepsi. I am not one to write negative reviews but this entire experience has been appalling. I received an ad in the mail of a very attractive margarita pizza and decided to give it a try. I ordered a large with extra cheese. After taking just short of 2 hours to arrive, the pizza we received was cold and unrecognizable from the ad we received. The picture speaks for itself there. What really rubbed me the wrong way was when we called the establishment to try to reconcile the situation. I would rate this place zero stars if I could. First, we were told the pizza would be delivered in about an hour. Two hours later, still no pizza. So we called and checked on the status and they said it was leaving the shop momentarily. When it got here the whole order was cold. And the margarita pizza we ordered because we saw the one advertised looked nothing like what was shown. And to make it worse, we ordered extra cheese! We called to ask for another one to be sent and the manager was arrogant and nasty on the phone. Offering no way to fix the issue and not apologizing for the situation, but instead blamed the fact that there was no cheese on the pizza as them being busy. This restaurant does not deserve your business. I recommend you use our other local small businesses that value and treat customers properly. When I picked up a pizza, a man became irritated that I gave him a credit card that he needed to walk back in. He proceeded to mouth off to me in front of my small children that were in the car blaming me for not walking inside to pay despite having a curbside pick up sign on the front door of the restaurant. I called back to speak to a manager, and the same man picked up and told me that I "better get along" since they had more important things to do. I called back again and was told that man was the owner. There is no excuse to treat a customer - or anyone for that matter - with such disrespect. I will never go here again. We have been getting pizza from Paulie's for a few months. After Ferretti's closed last year we tried several pizza places in the area and have found that Paulie's is now the best, in our opinion. Nice thin crust on the 8-cut and they will make it crispy by request. We always order it with eggplant topping and they don't scrimp. Sauce is very good and just the right amount of cheese. Employees are friendly and they deliver. The store is in a small strip mall right opposite the computer store and has only one driveway entrance so it is easy to miss but worth turning around if you do. read more

This is the best pizza by the slice I have had in the area. There dough is the difference maker. Nice flavor and never soft or mushy. Sauce is a bit on the sweet side if you order cheese only but with pepperoni, I think it works good together. Have purchased slices over 6 times and it has been pretty consistent. I didn't like their wings. I would say, if you are like me and have been looking for a go to pizza by the slice place, give this place a try. Probably the worst customer service I have seen. Very rude and unprofessional. Judging by responses from other negative reviews it really shows how unprofessional they are. Went in with a 50% off coupon from restaurant.com which they apparently don't accept. The lady (manager) told us they stopped accepting them at the end of last year which we went in last year with one as well and was told they didn't accept them at that point either. She said it was a scam and they took their logo but not sure how it's a scam when you were accepting them? Maybe do something to have it removed then!? She said imagine how we feel...there's nothing I can do and was rude. You should be concerned a little more about the customer and customer service. So I turned to my girlfriend and said maybe we should start going elsewhere as we were about to pay for our order. We were then told just leave now and go somewhere else. So as regular customers we left and went to Caputos just down the road where the customer service was absolutely amazing, friendly and the food was great.
