I just had a terribly concerning experience at Blaze. Closing time is listed as 9:45pm. My husband got there before 8 o'clock, and saw three people standing outside the door, and the doors were already locked. A customer let them in and the group ahead of my husband was served, and my husband was told after waiting in line that they were closed and was sent out. That is how we treat customers before closing time? We let them stand in the line and wait for others to be served before telling them they are not serve served? And it's hard to ignore, it was the black customer that was not served after waiting in line. read more

Moldy soda machine, moldy food, dust an inch thick on even the napkin dispensers, manager riley was so rude when we pointed it out, said she was clearly busy and didn't want to handle it. My husband and I were 4th in line, behind two individuals and a family of 4. After 10 minutes of waiting (and the line behind us reaching to the door), I went and asked an employee whether they planned to start serving the customers standing right in front of them or continue to fill only the online orders. I love Blaze and I'm so happy there is one in town! I love that you can build your own pizza and get as many toppings as you want. Today, I ordered a build your own personal pizza with tons of toppings. As a result, I don't think the pizza was cooked enough to account for the amount of toppings that were put on. I ordered this pizza online and if I were in the store, I likely would have requested they leave the pizza in for a few extra minutes. However, I do think the person responsible for monitoring the pizzas should also know to keep the pizza in a bit longer to cook. We decided to try out a curbside pickup today and the curbside pickup portion of it was decent because the customer service process was very good. I really like the gentleman that delivered the food to the car he was very prompt he was very friendly he was a good customer service representative for the brand. The person that answered the phone was also someone who was very kind very friendly very customer oriented as well. The people that made the food that is where I'm having the most issue because I don't understand how you can't read a ticket and that's where I'm having a big problem because if it's happening to us then it's happening to other people and I believe that it needs to be known so that management knows so they can address the situation. In the pictures below I took pictures of the pizza and also the ticket that I wrote for each one and in each ticket there's bacon on both of those tickets but there's only bacon on one of those pizzas all the toppings are not on the pizzas that you are given out to your customers which when they get home and they're expecting a certain type of element to their Pizza can cause a certain amount of frustration if what they're looking for an expectation or taste is not met. Through this process we have come to the realization that we are no longer going to utilize the curbside pickup or even the call ahead feature due to the fact that we never know what they're going to be putting on it or not putting on our product that we are going to be paying for. So in order for us to take advantage of this in particular facility we will have to now go into purchase our pizza by physically going in and watching them make it. I gave it the three stars because the pizza overall was still very good and the service was good but when you're forgetting ingredients that a customer wants and the ingredients that you're forgetting is the main ingredient that the customer is looking for then it tends to be a problem. Also I asked for extra bacon on both of them in a comment section and that comment section was never listed even though it asks for any special instructions and I wrote that in my comment section. Overall I would not say that our trip there was a bust because it still wasn't excellent pizza it just was not what was expected and my wife was very disappointed. That's the one thing she absolutely loves on her Pizza is bacon and that's the one thing they forgot on her pizza was the bacon. Love this place! It's a comfortable modern atmosphere with friendly staff. If you go at busy times you may be waiting for a while but it's always worth the wait. The s'mores cookie is simply the best and make sure they warm it up in the oven for you. I like the house kiwi cooler drink they have too. Pretty much it's like a chipotle with pizza because you make your own. They also have a cool half option where you can do half a pizza, salad, or doughnots. The doughnots are pretty much just like garlic rolls but with pesto. They let you add drizzles and arugula on top of your pizza when it comes out too. They have really nice pickup options so it's ready when you arrive. Also, this place caters to vegans so I bring my vegan friends and they love it. Great prices and you never leave hungry. They have options for thicker pizzas as well. It's always a crowd pleaser and they have a shuffleboard table to play if you want. In the summer, I enjoy sitting outside with my girlfriends and chatting over pizza and I definitely recommend. The cauliflower crust is absolutely delicious!!!! I just tried it and recommend. This place sucks. It offers so many toppings that they CAN NEVER GET AN ORDER RIGHT unless you are right in front of them. This is the 3rd time this year that they have screwed up our order, this time it was delivery of the 5 for $42 offer - and they only sent 4 items. 5 items is built into the name of the order and they don't even send 5 items with the delivery driver. To compound our frustration, no one answers the phone for over an hour. I have had them be unbelievable rude in the store, and had them add a hot sauce drizzle to a plain cheese pizza for a child that was not requested FOR NO REASON. I have complained but never asked for or accepted compensation because I am not one of those people looking for something for nothing, but damn, we deserve it. If they actually make something right, it is good, but it is Russian roulette as to whether or not you will get what you order. Keto crust is honestly amazing - thin, crisp, holds up to toppings. Generous toppings, unique options like vegan chorizo. Don't waste the extra $ on high rise crust - the standard crust is plenty puffy. My picky kids LOVE it. Orders are cooked and ready super fast. Curbside pick up is super easy. Based on pizza only I'd give 5 stars, but I really like salad with pizza and both recent orders the Caesar salad was too skimpy for the price (even the entree size) and romaine was brown and wilted. Between the junk on the floor, the crusted residue on the (self-serve) soda machine, the debris scattered all over what is apparently a doordash/grubhub pickup area (which is a fantastic idea, dont get me wrong) there was no part of the place that was clean. I almost felt the need to burn my jacket, as it touched the floor while I was eating at a table I'd had to wipe myself. That said, the service was quick and the price was average. This rating is based upon my second trip to blaze. Our first trip to blaze, they had been open about a month. We overdid it on the add ons once the pizza comes out of the oven. They added way too much balsamic glaze and pesto, our pizza was swimming in it and the pizza wasn't cooked all the way though. Fast forward two months and we decided it was worth giving them another shot. We decided to keep it simple and just order a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms and basil(basil was key!) the pizza came out great and we went here around 9:30 at night and was pleased to know that they were still open. Decent pizza, Clifton Park has plenty of pizza joints to choose from. I would return to Blaze in the future. Next time Id like to try the pizza with the thicker crust. read more

This location is a lot more organized than the Stuyvesant plaza location. Staff was a well oiled machine, not overly friendly, but they did their jobs well. My pizza came out slightly burnt on one side of the crust (which has never happened before) but I disposed of it so it didn't effect the taste. I like the look of the locations but it's frustrating that it's so loud. We were going to eat there but decided to take it home because of children playing very loudly. read more
