Let me start by saying I've never been compelled to write a bad review in my entire 22 years of living before now. I ordered 10 wings from the man at the counter and specifically asked for bone-in, (he turned out to be the manager and please also note that he had AirPods in his ear the entire time I spoke with him). I leave and drive about 15 minutes to get back home. I open the box to see that the wings are boneless. I called the store and the man on the phone (a different one from the one I ordered from) said that I needed to bring back the old wings in order to get new ones, (the ones I ORIGINALLY ordered). I'm like okay, whatever, fine. So I drove and sat in traffic all the way back to the store. I go up to the man I originally ordered from, (the manager) and state that I ordered bone-in wings and received boneless. He says okay, and asks if I want a refund or if I want new wings. After I stated I wanted new ones he fidgeted with the POS screen for a while before simply stating, "For the bone-in it's going to be $5 more." And I kind of stood there for a second in a bit of shock. I ask why and he said that, "the bone-in wings are extra" and pointed to the sign advertising such. At this point, being pretty hungry and growing impatient of the service, I try and verbally reason why that does not make sense... telling him that if anything he should be offering me a full refund AND giving me new wings for having to drive all the way back to the store when THEY were the ones that messed up my order to begin with. And he says that he can give me a 50% discount on the remainder I'm supposed to pay. (Keep in mind, not once did I yell at this man or raise my voice) I tell him again that I had to sit in traffic and that I shouldn't have to pay anything because THEY dropped the ball, and explain how big of an inconvenience that was. He cuts me off and says, "Your options are for me to give you a refund or I can give you the 50% off." I'm basically boiling now and wanted the wings so I said fine, and accepted having to pay for THEIR mistake. And I am not cheap, paying the money wasn't the issue. I would have paid that much if they had charged me correctly in the first place. The issue was the principal. Definitely emailing their customer service because no one should have to deal with a situation like this when they just want some good chicken wings... read more

Are they not allowed to take walk in order to go ? I wasted time to reach someone who told me to call, when they could have just taken my order ??????? I have to say that Wingstop is my go-to for chicken wangs/wings for my fam. This location is close to my house and was chosen because it was a fork in the road; seriously a fork in the road for the Coleman location. Both are 2.5, miles away. I chose this location because I wanted to support Campbell; not that they need it. :| I feel really bad about leaving a bad review about wings because I live for wings. WTH? For this order, I switched it up and phoned in my order instead of ordering online. I spoke realtime with someone live--- and placed my order. [Meh] My order was an easy-peasy one. A small order of seasoned fries, 30 wings all extra crispy. I asked for half drums, half flats which is 50% drums 50% flats for Koren spicy and 50% Lemon pepper. This is mindless...right? This sounds so easy. Right? OMG, the fries were so overcooked that they were hard and crunchy. The potato had been fried right out of them. They were not even edible. I just threw them out. My order is easy if you follow the common-sense model of life. What I received was all drumsticks + plus 3 flats for the Koren spicey ones and the all drums for the lemon pepper flats excluding 5 flats. WTW? The math is not earth-shaking and really basic math - in class or homeschooled :( not a major mindbending ask. I expected 15 extra crispy spicy Korean mixes of 15 drums and 15 flats to be followed up by 15 Lemon pepper wins of 15 drums and 15 flats. The lemon pepper wings were so dry I choked on them when I took a bite. WOW, it was so dry and powdery. The Koren Spicy sauce was pretty gross and saturated in the worse way. Everything felt overcooked and saturated with sauce. Yuck. Next time I will drive over to the Coleman location instead. read more

Let me tell you how to get the best Wings here. Come to this location on Weekday Evenings even late night. The two that work there are amazing! Both were of Eastern Asian race (Indian) I believe. The Male cashier and was knowledgable of current promotions and kept the dining area very clean. The female Manager was a superstar behind the scenes cooking many pick up orders and still making my dine in order perfect. They worked so well together and made place have a great vibe because of how efficiently they both worked. I eat wings every Wednesday night with my kids and friends so we will be returning to THIS Wingstop because of these two great workers. read more

Just your average Wing Stop. I've been here twice around 10PM, but never had the experience that others mentioned about the employees saying that they're understaffed and can't assist. The parking lot is pretty small and can be annoying during the busier parts of the day, but feel free to park in the adjacent neighborhood and walk over. The fries were cut pretty unevenly on the two visits here, like some people have mentioned, but this doesn't really bother me...They taste the same anyway! I'm a huge Wingstop fan, but this location is taking awhile to get on its feet. I couldn't wait for this location to open because it's a stones throw from my house. I had previously gone to at least three other locations in San Jose, all perfect, five star experiences (ok, 4 and some change). This location seems to be missing the mark on service and food quality. I plan on giving them one more shot to get the food and experience right. Maybe they need some more experienced folks at this location to get them up to speed. Disappointed again. Been meaning to come by here since it's right next to my place. Rather than traveling all the way to the Coleman location or the one at the plant, which would have been a 30-40 minute trip. This new place is right next to home. Ordered my wings to-go so didn't get a chance to dine in their dining room. Place looks clean and welcoming as any other wingstop or restaurant would be. Met a friendly kid working the cash register. Had short chat then left with the food in a bag. Left a 10$ tip on the counter for the guy. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. They don't care AT ALL about their customers. We have ordered from the website many times, and the order is wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. This time, they left out Blue Cheese sides. Last time they left out the fries. When I called and asked to speak to the owner, the person answering the phone said "he isn't here very much" and that the "manager just quit yesterday" and the person I was talking to "had another job so he wasn't there that much" but he was in charge. He didn't care at all about finding out what was wrong with my order, or fixing it. If I could order from a different Wingstop I would but they on the website you are limited to the closest location. I love the wings at wingstop, and ever since this opened it has given me nothing but great service and excellent food quality, the staff try to give you the best suggestions and help you through the proses of ordering. The one thing I have a problem with is it's a little dirty. Food is fine. Service is awful - you always have to check your to-go order to make sure everything is included. The last three times I've ordered from here they've forgotten part of the order. Also - don't rely on them to call out when your order is ready. I've had instances where the food is just sitting on the back table for 5-10 minutes and it's only when you ask about your order when they realize it's done. I am a big fan and if I keep eating here I will only become bigger . Honestly I enjoy the food here, and continue to try out the different Wing Stop locations. I was on my way home and decided to give this location a try, again I have had the wings from other locations and wanted to enjoy the good quality of food I can receive here. When I arrived the first thing you will notice is now small the packing lot is, and if there are people stopping here for wing stop of picking up their laundry or having some Italian food, you will have a hard time finding a spot to park, please remember that there is parking in the back. When entering this location we were greeted by the employees with a friendly smile and welcoming. Of course we ordered right away as we know the menu and know exactly what we wanted. We placed our order and was told it would be 15 minutes to have our fresh food ready to take home. Of course within 13-15 minutes, we had our food and we were off to sit down and eat. The service was fast and friendly, the restrooms are clean and well maintained. Of course this is my personal preference, as I am sure there are other places that are bigger better and faster, but I do enjoy Wing Stop across the Bay Area, and know that I will continue to return to enjoy the yummy wing, oh yes and do not forget the fries (I call them crack fries) as they are addictive (by my standards). read more

I haven't been to this Wingstop for several months and made the mistake of trying it again. This is the worst, The Worst, Wingstop I've been too. Slow before they now move at a glacial pace. We walked in; there was no one in front of us although a couple of people were waiting; and placed 2 orders of wings. It took over 45 minutes to get our order. I approached the counter to cancel my order and get a refund when the chunky, female cook called my name. When I said "it took over 45 minutes" she replied "OK" and turned and went back to whatever slow motion thing she was doing. So much for customer service. The wings were dismal. both crispy hard and greasy. Tried eating a few and gave up. Have washed my hands a few times and they're still greasy. The red haired woman who took our order and money was OK but they should do themselves a favor and fire the rest of the staff. The chunky, female cook with the crappy attitude? Fire her twice. The worst part is I fed the tip jar when I ordered. I want my tip back! I learned to not tip when ordering but to wait until I get my food.
