The fried items came out first, and we were told the clam chowder would follow. Unfortunately, the chowder didn't arrive until we were almost finished with our meal. As for the food, the fish was the standout. It was cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and not greasy at all. The clams were also quite good. The rest of the sampler was just okay. The scallops were a little soggy, and while the chips were crunchy, they were pretty bland. We tried adding salt, but since they weren't fresh out of the fryer, it didn't really help much. The biggest disappointment was the clam chowder. It tasted more like mushy potatoes than clam chowder and lacked the flavor and texture we were expecting. Overall, the family wasn't particularly wowed by the food, but the pricing was reasonable.
