So the fact that they seem to take customer feedback very seriously merits at least one additional star. ************************ Update - have to lower my 3 stars to 1 star. I went back - solo this time. Staff can't hear the customers thanks to acoustics and the staff seems to be comprised of lots of very young, inexperienced people who don't know basic customer service (smiling, saying thank you, etc). My food was pretty awful. The french fries were so heavily coated in fry seasoning that all you could taste was the seasoning. I ate about four french fries before I just gave up. They probably would have been fine if not for the heavy-handed cook. The 'plain' boneless wings were too plain. No seasoning whatsoever - so they were bland and they were overcooked so they were tough. My Hawaiian boneless wings were tough and overcooked too. I ate one of each and trashed the rest. I'm not a food snob and don't typically have unrealistic expectations when it comes to fast food. It's rare that food is so bad - that its inedible - but that was the case here. They were doing a brisk business. Three people waiting when I came in and every table in the establishment was occupied. So clearly I'm in the minority. I have not ordered from WingStop in a while but the Chinese place close to my house was closed so I made the big mistake of ordering from this place last night. After waiting 30 minutes for my order and watching people who walked in after me order and get their food before I did, I asked what was taking so long. I was told that because I had asked for crispy wings it was taking longer. Meanwhile I am watching the guy that is cooking wings checking his phone. We have loved Wingstop wings for a while now, but haven't had a chance to try this new location until today. It felt like coming home :) The food was as tasty as we remembered from other locations. The space looks exactly like the others as well. It was really clean in there though, unlike other locations. What set this place apart from the others is the service. We were greeted when we walked in the door and pur order was taken quickly. We chose to dine in and our food was brought over really quickly. They have a Coke freestyle machine for all of you Coke lovers out there! The way the space is set up allows you to look into the kitchen as the cooks prepare your meal. The cooks back there checked on us a couple times to see how we are doing and even asked if the food was good. I cant speak highly enough about how friendly the staff was. The guys in the back actually made the experience for us and we will certainly be back some time when we get the Wing Stop craving! read more

I am so tired and disappointed with this location. There is an issue EVERY single time. I walked in and placed an order here about a month ago, i was advised my order would be ready in 15-18 minutes. As my son and i waited in our order, i realized over 35 min had passed. I got up to ask an employee what is going on with my order, he said it will be ready in 10 min. I waited 10 min and asked again. My order wasn't ready until an additional 10 min. Mind you, it was NOT busy at all, but even if it were, i have NEVER waited at any other wingstop for over 45 minutes for 2 10 piece wings. Today i decided i would take another chance on wingstop. It would have been faster to find a live chicken and fry the bird myself. I called in my order this time, hoping that might put the pedal to the metal. I was wrong. First of all, when i called, the young lady advised me that they were out of the mild, medium and hot flavors. I decided to go with atomic and garlic parm. I asked for a side of ranch, she told me they were out. I then asked for a side of blue cheese. She told me they were out of that too. I'm surprised they weren't out of chicken. She told me my order would be ready in, yes, 15-18 minutes. It took me 15 minutes to drive to the location. I walked in and provided them my name. To my disappointment, i was advised that my meal wouldn't be ready for another 15 min. I decided to wait in my vehicle. I walked back in after 16 minutes, i thought i should give them an extra minute just in case, to find the employees in the back not cooking my chicken at all but actually rapping/free styling. Had the rapping been good, i might not have been so angry. I asked about my chicken, it took another 10min. I will never go back to this location. The Wing Stop on 1680 East West Connector in Austell,GA is an absolute WASTE of your company's time and resources. This is the 3rd consecutive time that I have gone to this restaurant and every time has resulted in the employees trying to cheat me of my money. Three times I have placed orders for fried corn to either not have it in my bag at all (after paying an up charge) and as of today, being given a partial order while I had to wait in the store for an order that I placed 15 mins prior over the phone. I spoke with the Owner who apologized profusely for my experience and who informed me he was already in the process of making changes including hiring MATURE employees who know what they're doing and care about customer service. He told me to take them back and ask for his NEW GM who re-prepared my order herself and who made them perfectly! I am so glad I reached out to him! We will give this location a second chance since the Owner IS listening to his customers and is actually TRYING to rectify the problems with that particular store. I have been to a few wingstop but this one is the worst. They don't seem to care to much about the food or the customer. My wife and I have them a second chance after the 1st bad experience with them and they disappointed us again. The wings had so much lemon pepper on the chicken I had to run water over chicken to get rid of some of the season. Management don't care and won't solve the problem. I get the same military discount at all the locations except this one. We won't be eating there again. read more

By far the worst experience my wife and I have ever had in the food industry. Our experience started out great and with the usual friendly service we've grown to love from Wingstop. We parked came inside, was greeted with a smile and helped promptly when placing our order. Then we sat and waited 10-15 minutes for our food. A cook from the kitchen flagged us down from the counter and handed us our food and said it was ready. We didn't check the food order as we were the only ones waiting in the restaurant and assumed there wasn't any possible way our order could have been wrong. We drove 15 minutes home and pulled out our food to eat. Quickly we realized this wasn't the right order. Wrong flavors, wrong quantity. Immediately I called up to the store and was greeted with that same friendly cashier. She said she was very sorry and that of course they would fix the order. They would have our correct order ready and warm. All we needed to bring was the receipt and it would be "free"(although I know this was meant as just a figure of speech's bd assurance, please keep in mind... it wasn't free. We had already paid and not got the food we paid for). My wife was reluctant to go back, considering we both had worked 12hr+ days. But she took the receipt and headed for the store. The order of wrong wings we were given I fed to our dog since they apparently didn't need them for the exchange. When my wife got to the store she was told they wouldn't be giving her the order as promised. That she had to have the incorrect order present, COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF WHAT SHE WAS TOLD ON THE PHONE. In addition when my wife asked if she could get a partial refund for the difference in wing quantity from the incorrect order and what we paid for, she was also told no. SO NOT ONLY WERE WE GIVEN THE INCORRECT ORDER, WE WERE GIVEN INCORRECT INFORMATION, AND MY WIFE WAS MET WITH RUDE AND COMBATIVE MANAGEMENT. When I called up after she called me crying about the situation, I spoke with the manager on duty Bobby. I have to say as a person in the service industry it disturbs me to speak with people with such blatant disregard for the customer experience. Bobby couldn't care to see how he had not only inconvenienced us by us having to return, but also could have easily and quickly resolved the issue by honoring the terms of exchange that the cashier told us on the phone. BUT HE DIDNT. HE ESCALATED THE SITUATION. POINT BLANK WE DID EVERYTHING THE EMPLOYEES ASKED US TO DO. AND IN THE END GOT NOTHING FOR OUR MONEY, EXCEPT A RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL MANAGER ROLLING HIS EYES AND TALKING DOWN TO A LOYAL WINGSTOP CUSTOMER. In the end my wife didn't get the service or food she paid for and drove 30 minutes across town to the other Wingstop location to order THE EXACT SAME THING, AND PAID AGAIN! Protip: If you mess up a order, that's ok. Customers understand not everything will be perfect every time. It's how you handle the situation that makes the difference. The food here is decent. I enjoy the lemon pepper wings and if I come on the right day they are cooked how I like them. The customer service is usually okay. The cashier Keiona is amazing! She has a smile on her face and treats me with kindness whenever I come to get food. I enjoy talking with her while my food is being prepared. I have gone to this location several times and most times it has been a quick in and out visit with no issues, except for today. During the pandemic, I made a special effort to support this restaurant. Today, I spend over an hour waiting in the store on my wing order because they ran out of chicken. I have a hard time understanding how a restaurant runs out of chicken when this is your core business. While I spent time in the restaurant waiting on my order, I had a chance to observe the poor sanitary practices of the employees. Before the arrival of the manager, there was not one employee wearing gloves in the kitchen. There was the cashier who was handling cash and cards and going to the back and touching orders with her dirty hands to check on the status of the order. The floor was filthy and there were several cups with lids lined up on the counter being handled by employees moving back and forth from the kitchen while wearing no gloves. I overheard the employees' complaints about the manager who was notified of the issue of the chicken running out and failing to show up on time to restock the chicken. In the meantime, the employees were standing around and letting the phone ring unanswered while they waited for the manager to arrive. When the manager arrived, I expressed my concerns about the long wait time and I was brushed off and told to have "patience" because there was a chicken shortage. He repeated several times that I needed to have patience in an elevated tone while I calmly explained that this was unacceptable especially since I called in my order in advance of my arrival. I noticed that the manager had left the trunk of his vehicle open after taking out the boxes of chicken from his vehicle. Out of concern and safety for his vehicle, I informed the cashier that his trunk was open and I overheard the manager saying to the cashier that I needed to mind my business. This manager was very rude and extremely unprofessional. To top it all off, the wings were horrible. I do not know if it had anything to do with the fact that the chicken was frozen when it was dropped into the fryer. Based on my experience, I will not be going back.
