We've used AW for years but recently my grand daughter ordered the big dbl cheese burger & seasoned fries. Which is usually great but this time when it was delivered it wasn't the same. We debated they must have a new cook or? So she bring hungry went to eat, the fries were plain crinkle , not seasoned. After she began to eat she came to me & said this isn't right, it's bland, messy the lettuce was wilted & old.& the tomato was just a piece broken. She asked me to take it & when I did I had to agree it wasn't right. She said she couldn't eat any more of it because it wasn't the same & it had no taste. So I gave part of it to our dog thinking that was that. After a family discussion I encouraged her to call the restaurant & let them know she wasn't satisfied , which she did. They told her to bring it back, she didn't know I'd given the dog a part of the burger. Next morning she & her Mom took the remains back to Austell Wings, she came back crying because they laughed at her & tried to say she was "scamming"?! The burger was more than half gone because I gave it to the dog.? They weren't professional at all. My daughter tried to talk to them about talking to her kid like that, apparently it was really ugly, once home I was really peoed because they weren't professional nasty & they mishandled it all the way! My granddaughter cried her eyes out & I just couldn't believe the way they treated her. We had to lift her spirits way back up. She was hurt & we were upset at the they handled the whole thing. We have spent plenty money there but we WILL NOT patronize them anymore because they called her a scammer & ridiculed her to the point of tears & why? We've taught her to speak up if something's not correct & when she did the people who work there were not only unnecessarily cruel & that was totally necessary but they all the lady, the man in front & other staff came out & laughed at her. My granddaughter has been taught to be respectful, thoughtful & those people went out of their way to be unapologetic or even consider she was a child. After years of patronage their rudeness & lack of understanding has just blown us away. So ending our relationship with Austell Wings was easy after that. A word of warning, make sure your careful If you go there the Indians there don't care. While we were there once ordering food we saw big roaches crawling by the front desk, we walked out in amazement, gave them a note about it because there were other people there & we didn't want to embarrass them, but we did want them to know their secret had come out to the customers. Lastly if you have a business for the people in the area but don't live in the community where you're making $$ be cognizant of your patrons & live up to your word. I ordered over the phone 10 wings, all flats, half hot lemon pepper and half lemon pepper. When arrived to the restaurant I immediately walked up to the counter and paid. This place was recommended by a nearby laundromat employee. I could smell his chicken wings and they were delightful so I had no choice but to stop by after I left the laundromat. I got the 6 piece honey hot and rice originally (no picture sorry) but the rice was yellow, sticky, and flavorless so I switched it out for fries. The employees were very helpful, patient, and efficient. It was pretty busy between pick up and walk in orders but they handled the crowd with ease. I have been coming here since they opened and while they have made a mistake or two over the years, I caught it before leaving the premises and they fixed me up right away. The only items I have had myself are the wings and the Philly cheese steak but I understand from my family members that the hamburgers are quite good. The wings are generally above average in size compared to other wing places and they have a multitude of flavors for which you can get them both wet or dry. This two star rating isn't about the food because I love the food. This star rating is more about the lack of customer service I received today. I called to place a pick up order and explain to them that I've placed to over eat orders and that my drink hadn't arrived on either one. The clerk looked up my number and saw that I am a regular customer and even noted that I always order a drink with my wings. Instead of offering to give me my drink for free with my order today she just suggested I call them the next time I don't receive my drink with Uber eats as though that will change anything. It's not like Uber eats is going to send the driver back to get the drink. We ordered 50 wings. 5 different flavors. Each wing tasted like chili and it was devastating. On top of the horrible seasoning the service was lack luster. The whole time I knew the energy was off in here but gave them the benefit of the doubt. The place may look like your average good wing spot but I will confirm it is a faccad. Don't eat here. I tried to save the wings we had left over to see if they tasted different the next day and the chili flavor was bolder even in the honey mustard wings. This is a good, not great, but still very decent place to go snag some wings and fries. I haven't tried anything else, so the only thing I can recommend are the wings. They deliver as well and relatively quickly (they're fresh wings people, not microwaved, so expect it to take 45min to show up at your door). This was not the worst wing place, but its certainly not the best. I don't have much to say because I didn't dine in. I ended up at this wing place on a Sunday when most of my regulars were closed. I looked the menu up online and called ahead. The prices are a bit steep in my opinion and the wings were not bad, but they weren't great. The service was super fast and the people were nice. I think they should make a better menu, most wing places have combos and food that's priced to sale. I don't think a beverage came with anything on this menu. This was my first time visiting this place. I must say they had great customer service and 98 as their health score. Asked for my wings wet and they were dry as a bone. Lucky, I checked my food before leaving so that was a quick fix. The med flavor wings were ok. I have ordered many times over the last 10 years. I would say 95% is a 5 star. I have had a total of 3 bad meals and one customer service issue over a 10 years of purchase and that is not so bad all in all. I figured new people in training???? Each time I ordered again I informed the manager of my bad experience and he made sure my current order was great and took care of the customer service issue. I will continue to order from here. FYI I do mix up and try other items. I'm not at all fond of the lemon chicken it is bland. But I love the mild boneless. My niece commented on the fact that the wings looked YUMMY and that they were actually wet without us having to request for them to be wet. I have been coming here so often that it didn't dawn on me that a lot of places are a tad bit stingy with the sauce. My wings were a little sweet and a lot of Spicy. Just like me and I LOVED them! They actually taste like BBQ Sauce and Cajun spices. Some places all you taste is a sweet and spicy taste but these are exactly what they say Cajun BBQ (HOT) wings. So all in all we both enjoyed our meals! I think that this place is a good 2nd or 3rd pick if I'm unable to get Taco Mac for wings. Love this place. I order from them all the time. Everything I've tried was good but my fav is lemon pepper wings(all flats) and fries. The fried fish sandwich is my second fav. The owners are so nice and so friendly. They run the front and take orders as well. The chocolate cake is so good. It's a long wait for delivery but not too bad if you pick it up. It's a small location and decent parking. It looks like a old location. Bathroom is sketchy but it's decent. The price is good and the best place for greasy food. Here's my tip: order the wings at a wing restaurant, otherwise you're sure to be disappointed. I had the fish sampler with whiting, shrimp, & seasoned fries.
